Born to be Reborn

doubts and delusions have led us all astray
ignorance and passion have dragged us to play
into the worlds furnishing illusion, yes we are all certifiably insane
by forgetting our eternal nature and all the sacred ways

lifetimes upon lifetimes of riding on the storm
dying just to be born again, but now, to be reborn
oh what miraculous things can happen when we truly do adore
a Pure Devotee of The Supreme Lord who came to settle the score

so please, give up your false ego, give up your artificial pride
give up all the lives and the lies you have lied
its not helping you now, it surely didn’t help you then
with Srila Prabhupada’s mercy though, you can begin anew again

yes, be as you may, surely, come as you are
today is the day to let your spirit seize the cure
capture the moment now to make these amends
to rectify all the cycles of creation and destruction

even if you’re rich, or, if your piggy bank is busted
hustling hard on the block or having your hustle hunted
a vacancy of favorable devotional service is the sentence from a life corrupted
suspending our eternal existence that should never be interrupted

but by and by this decrepit state has to be adjusted
and only can be done so by following purely perfect instructions
to change our polluted consciousness of which we have become accustomed
to surpass the tentacles of material nature, and their powerful cups of suction

so if you’ve ascended to a mountain top or are lounging at the beach
never-mind, because, living a righteous life is always within reach
finally getting out of your own way is the last option to choose
so kill your false ego instead of just giving it a bruise

yes walk away now, leave all the nescience behind
socialite skeletons in the closet were dead before they arrived.
peep the scene for yourself, it will unfold right in front of your eyes
if you would just chant The Maha-mantra, undivided in the divide

which Prabhupada has given us, the most unique and rarest gift
and that freely given wonderful endowment translates to this;
“Please Radha, Please Krsna, my activities have left me thoroughly embarrassed
please o please, engage me in your service favorable, before the opportunity, again, i miss”

then you can step through the ashes, emerge from the wreckage
crystal clear lenses permit all to see Krsna’s Message
that, “We are never out of sight; We are never out of touch
you can always live with Prabhupada and Me for We…. never…. budge”

and this is seen from the rafters, also it is seen from the stage
everywhere Sri Krsna is viewable and how He is engaged
yes, Prabhupada has given us all the truths, He has given all the proofs
The Sampradaya Acarya purifying the dazed and the confused

so now the shadows have receded and the time has arrived
the hour is upon us to release our battle cry
HARE KRSNA, HARE RAMA, there is nowhere left to hide
staying diligent and composed while plucking out the evil eyes

because we’ve got sky high hopes and unreasonable ambitions,
that all souls can be re-engaged in our family’s tradition
no souls left behind is our only disposition
because Lord Krsna is willing everyone to have access to True Religion

so whether you’re dandavating it out or you’re falling out of grace
chanting japa like madman or just stuporing in maya’s haze
one thing is a fact and it’s always on display
everyone, everywhere, has access to His Divine Grace

which is why we live without cares, and we live with no limits
we live with our ears wide open so we can forever listen
to Srila Prabhupada’s Vani to increase our addiction
to Him and Sri Krsna invoking our definitive and eternal submission
