Are We Actually Following?

Feb 02, 2012 — JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN, INDIA (SUN) — Just before Lord Kapila appeared as the son of Kardama Muni, Lord Brahma spoke some interesting words, which have great meaning to our present day situation within our little ISKCON world.
“My dear son Kardama, since you have completely accepted my instructions without duplicity, showing them proper respect, you have worshiped me properly. Whatever instructions you took from me, you have carried out, and thereby you have honored me.”
Srila Prabhupada expands these words of wisdom into simple clarification, magnifying the potency with common sense, enlightening the circumstances of what’s happened with the “gurus” in our society.
Kardama Muni carried out the orders of his spiritual master “in toto” without cheating and was therefore glorified by Lord Brahma. The chronicles of the mutinous ringleaders of ISKCON have unequivocally proven them to be deceptive phonies who have not carried out the orders of Srila Prabhupada, demonstrated by their diabolical deeds.
They didn’t follow his instructions, changed his words, misconstrued his direction and downright disobeyed him. They are the epitome of what the cheating propensity can become in a human being. Their duplicitous and deceitful nature over the last 35 years has destroyed tens of thousands of spiritual creepers, with no end in sight.
These men are products of Kali Yuga, endowed with four defects from birth, with cheating as the most prominent. They rose in a society where someone was scorned if they didn’t eat meat and engage in teenage illicit sex; parents encouraged adolescent drinking, and many were laying bets before the age of 18. Add the icing of homosexuality, and you have the adolescent years of most of our present day “gurus” functioning in ISKCON.
By providence they met a bona fide pure devotee, free from any defects, coming in disciplic succession from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Himself. All they had to do was humbly follow his orders and instructions and not be proud of their “heritage”, college degrees or color of their skin.
These men could have honored Srila Prabhupada and made his ISKCON into something that would have become the exemplar of perfection, for eons of Vedic literature. Instead they had the impudence to affront his good name and pave their way into oblivion. These “employees” usurped Srila Prabhupada’s devotional service.
The monstrosity of voting a person into the parampara as a pure representative of Krishna, which evolved from the 11’s inception, has turned into a ludicrously improbable plot being fed to the multitudes of simple, eager innocents who want to make spiritual advancement.
Srila Prabhupada continues in his purport:
“Therefore knowledge received from the bona fide spiritual master is not cheating. Any other knowledge which is manufactured by the conditioned soul is cheating only.”
The mendacity of the fallen and falling gurus illustrates a new level of dishonesty in Kali Yuga, revealing with clarity that certain leaders and followers of ISKCON are certainly not following His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada’s instructions, guidance or direction.
“To honor the spiritual master means to carry out his instructions WORD FOR WORD.”
