Demoniac Rahu disguised as devotee is being killed by Mohinī-mūrti
Demoniac IskCon leaders try to directly attack the Lord and his pure devotee, Srila Prabhupada, by posing as so called spiritual masters, false gurus coveting the seat of Acarya. These devious IskCon GBC-Guru rascals are just like Rahu trying to eclipse the sun of Srila Prabhupada.
As the demoniac Rahu was trying to cheat the demigods by disguising himself as devotee, so also have false IskCon gurus cheated the devotees by disguising their unqualified nature through cheating and falsehood. But as Rahu’s cheating was exposed so also have Iskcons bogus gurus being exposed. And as Rahu was killed by Mohini Murti, so also will Iskcons bogus gurus with Rahu mentality be taken care of by the lord.
As Rahu was killed by the lord Himself in his form of Mohini Murti, so will all demoniac IskCon GBCs and false gurus be eventually killed by Krishna for unlawfully usurping the seat of the Acarya Srila Prabhupada.
How is the GBC obscuring the Sun of the Sampradaya – Srila Prabhupada?
It’s plain and simple. They are, by denying Srila Prabhupada’s position as the initiator spiritual master for his society, leaving the door open for ambitious, unqualified, devious people, who covet the seat of the Acarya. Otherwise why is there such an animosity to a direct order of the Acharya, given in his instructing letter of July 9th? To say that Srila Prabhupada cannot initiate anymore via his established ritvik-systen because he is physically not present (posthumously as they insultingly call it) is a great offence and aparadha.
Demoniac Rahu trying to eclipse the Sun and Moon
Rahu with his black shadow tries to
cover the sun and moon thus causing the eclipse
The story of Rahu (causing the eclipse): During the churning process of the milk ocean many wonderful things were produced, until finally the “amrita” or nectar of immortality appeared. Immediately there was a fierce struggle and the demons forcefully took possession of the nectar. At that time, to help the demigods, Lord Vishnu, expanded Himself into Mohini-murti, the most enchanting of all beautiful goddesses. The demons, who were completely love-struck, allowed the Goddess to have the nectar, which she began to distribute amongst the demigods.
At that time, the great demon, Rahu, disguised as a demigod, entered the line of eager devas, between the Sun and Moon gods. As soon as the nectar was tasted by Rahu, he was exposed by the Sun & Moon gods, and Lord Vishnu, in His Mohini form, immediately severed Rahu’s head with His Sudarshan Chakra (discus). Because Rahu had tasted the amrita his head became immortal, while his body fell away dead. Seeing this wonderful event, Lord Vishnu, then awarded Rahu the exalted post of Graha (planetary deity) as the malevolent North Node of the Moon.
Rahu still hates the Sun and Moon gods for the destruction of his body from the neck down, and he attacks the Sun and Moon out of revenge, following a schedule of eclipses, which are predicted and recorded to this day by astronomers and astrologers.
The Srimad Bhagavatam describes the story of Rahu as follows:
“Rahu, the demon who causes eclipses of the sun and moon, covered himself with the dress of a demigod and thus entered the assembly of the demigods and drank nectar without being detected by anyone, even by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The moon and the sun, however, because of permanent animosity toward Rahu, understood the situation. Thus Rahu was detected.
Purport: The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Mohini-murti, was able to bewilder all the demons, but Rahu was so clever that he was not bewildered. Rahu could understand that Mohini-murti was cheating the demons, and therefore he changed his dress, disguised himself as a demigod, and sat down in the assembly of the demigods. Here one may ask why the Supreme Personality of Godhead could not detect Rahu. The reason is that the Lord wanted to show the effects of drinking nectar. This will be revealed in the following verses. The moon and sun, however, were always alert in regard to Rahu. Thus when Rahu entered the assembly of the demigods, the moon and sun immediately detected him, and then the Supreme Personality of Godhead also became aware of him.” (Srimad-Bhagavatam 8:9:24)

The Lord Incarnates as Mohinī-Mūrti killing Rāhu
Srimad Bhagavatam Canto 8, Chapter 9, Text 1-29
Summary: This chapter describes how the demons, being enchanted by the beauty of the Mohinī form, agreed to hand over the container of nectar to Mohinīdevī, who tactfully delivered it to the demigods.
When the demons got possession of the container of nectar, an extraordinarily beautiful young woman appeared before them. All the demons became captivated by the young woman’s beauty and became attached to Her. Now, because the demons were fighting among themselves to possess the nectar, they selected this beautiful woman as a mediator to settle their quarrel. Taking advantage of their weakness in this regard, Mohinī, the incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, got the demons to promise that whatever decision She might give, they would not refuse to accept it. When the demons made this promise, the beautiful woman, Mohinī-mūrti, had the demigods and demons sit in different lines so that She could distribute the nectar. She knew that the demons were quite unfit to drink the nectar. Therefore, by cheating them She distributed all the nectar to the demigods.
When the demons saw this cheating of Mohinī-mūrti, they remained silent. But one demon, named Rāhu, dressed himself like a demigod and sat down in the line of the demigods. He sat beside the sun and the moon. When the Supreme Personality of Godhead understood how Rāhu was cheating, He immediately cut off the demon’s head. Rāhu, however, had already tasted the nectar, and therefore although his head was severed, he remained alive. After the demigods finished drinking the nectar, the Supreme Personality of Godhead assumed His own form. Śukadeva Gosvāmī ends this chapter by describing how powerful is the chanting of the holy names, pastimes and paraphernalia of the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
TRANSLATION: TEXT 1-29
Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Thereafter, the demons became inimical toward one another. Throwing and snatching the container of nectar, they gave up their friendly relationship. Meanwhile, they saw a very beautiful young woman coming forward toward them.
Upon seeing the beautiful woman, the demons said, “Alas, how wonderful is Her beauty, how wonderful the luster of Her body, and how wonderful the beauty of Her youthful age!” Speaking in this way, they quickly approached Her, full of lusty desires to enjoy Her, and began to inquire from Her in many ways.
O wonderfully beautiful girl, You have such nice eyes, resembling the petals of a lotus flower. Who are You? Where do You come from? What is Your purpose in coming here, and to whom do You belong? O You whose thighs are extraordinarily beautiful, our minds are becoming agitated simply because of seeing You.
What to speak of human beings, even the demigods, demons, Siddhas, Gandharvas, Cāraṇas and the various directors of the universe, the Prajāpatis, have never touched You before. It is not that we are unable to understand Your identity.
O beautiful girl with beautiful eyebrows, certainly Providence, by His causeless mercy, has sent You to please the senses and minds of all of us. Is this not a fact?
We are now all engaged in enmity among ourselves because of this one subject matter—the container of nectar. Although we have been born in the same family, we are becoming increasingly inimical. O thin-waisted woman, who are so beautiful in Your prestigious position, we therefore request You to favor us by settling our dispute.
All of us, both demons and demigods, have been born of the same father, Kaśyapa, and thus we are related as brothers. But now we are exhibiting our personal prowess in dissension. Therefore we request You to settle our dispute and divide the nectar equally among us.
Having thus been requested by the demons, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who had assumed the form of a beautiful woman, began to smile. Looking at them with attractive feminine gestures, She spoke as follows.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, in the form of Mohinī, told the demons: O sons of Kaśyapa Muni, I am only a prostitute. How is it that you have so much faith in Me? A learned person never puts his faith in a woman.
O demons, as monkeys, jackals and dogs are unsteady in their sexual relationships and want newer and newer friends every day, women who live independently seek new friends daily. Friendship with such a woman is never permanent. This is the opinion of learned scholars.
Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: After the demons heard the words of Mohinī-mūrti, who had spoken as if jokingly, they were all very confident. They laughed with gravity, and ultimately they delivered the container of nectar into Her hands.
Thereafter, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, having taken possession of the container of nectar, smiled slightly and spoke in attractive words. She said: My dear demons, if you accept whatever I may do, whether honest or dishonest, then I can take responsibility for dividing the nectar among you.
The chiefs of the demons were not very expert in deciding things. Upon hearing the sweet words of Mohinī-mūrti, they immediately assented. “Yes,” they answered. “What You have said is all right.” Thus the demons agreed to accept Her decision.
The demigods and demons then observed a fast. After bathing, they offered clarified butter and oblations into the fire and gave charity to the cows and to the brāhmaṇas and members of the other orders of society, namely the kṣatriyas, vaiśyas and śūdras, who were all rewarded as they deserved. Thereafter, the demigods and demons performed ritualistic ceremonies under the directions of the brāhmaṇas. Then they dressed themselves with new garments according to their own choice, decorated their bodies with ornaments, and sat facing east on seats made of kuśa grass.
O King, as the demigods and demons sat facing east in an arena fully decorated with flower garlands and lamps and fragrant with the smoke of incense, that woman, dressed in a most beautiful sari, Her ankle bells tinkling, entered the arena, walking very slowly because of Her big, low hips. Her eyes were restless due to youthful pride, Her breasts were like water jugs, Her thighs resembled the trunks of elephants, and She carried a waterpot in Her hand.
Her attractive nose and cheeks and Her ears, adorned with golden earrings, made Her face very beautiful. As She moved, Her sari’s border on Her breasts moved slightly aside. When the demigods and demons saw these beautiful features of Mohinī-mūrti, who was glancing at them and slightly smiling, they were all completely enchanted.
Demons are by nature crooked like snakes. Therefore, to distribute a share of the nectar to them was not at all feasible, since this would be as dangerous as supplying milk to a snake. Considering this, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who never falls down, did not deliver a share of nectar to the demons.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead as Mohinī-mūrti, the master of the universe, arranged separate lines of sitting places and seated the demigods and demons according to their positions.
Taking the container of nectar in Her hands, She first approached the demons, satisfied them with sweet words and thus cheated them of their share of the nectar. Then She administered the nectar to the demigods, who were sitting at a distant place, to make them free from invalidity, old age and death.
O King, since the demons had promised to accept whatever the woman did, whether just or unjust, now, to keep this promise, to show their equilibrium and to save themselves from fighting with a woman, they remained silent.
The demons had developed affection for Mohinī-mūrti and a kind of faith in Her, and they were afraid of disturbing their relationship. Therefore they showed respect and honor to Her words and did not say anything that might disturb their friendship with Her.
Rāhu, the demon who causes eclipses of the sun and moon, covered himself with the dress of a demigod and thus entered the assembly of the demigods and drank nectar without being detected by anyone, even by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The moon and the sun, however, because of permanent animosity toward Rāhu, understood the situation. Thus Rāhu was detected.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hari, using His disc, which was sharp like a razor, at once cut off Rāhu’s head. When Rāhu’s head was severed from his body, the body, being untouched by the nectar, could not survive.
Rāhu’s head, however, having been touched by the nectar, became immortal. Thus Lord Brahmā accepted Rāhu’s head as one of the planets. Since Rāhu is an eternal enemy of the moon and the sun, he always tries to attack them on the nights of the full moon and the dark moon.
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is the best friend and well-wisher of the three worlds. Thus when the demigods had almost finished drinking the nectar, the Lord, in the presence of all the demons, disclosed His original form.
The place, the time, the cause, the purpose, the activity and the ambition were all the same for both the demigods and the demons, but the demigods achieved one result and the demons another. Because the demigods are always under the shelter of the dust of the Lord’s lotus feet, they could very easily drink the nectar and get its result. The demons, however, not having sought shelter at the lotus feet of the Lord, were unable to achieve the result they desired.
In human society there are various activities performed for the protection of one’s wealth and life by one’s words, one’s mind and one’s actions, but they are all performed for one’s personal or extended sense gratification with reference to the body. All these activities are baffled because of being separate from devotional service. But when the same activities are performed for the satisfaction of the Lord, the beneficial results are distributed to everyone, just as water poured on the root of a tree is distributed throughout the entire tree.

Thank you for posting this article. Normally people ruled by rahu planet are tall and demoniac, they try always to do robbery abroad as rahu is trying to do with the moon and the sun during the eclipses, by attacking pious people. Of course LORD BRAHMA had not choice but to accept this disgusting demon by giving him a eternal demoniac residence, because his head became immortal by drinking the nectar of immortality but he remain a demon eternally therefore he can’t get full blessing as the demigods even if he became eternal by stealing and cheating but he is unwanting everywhere not just on the planet earth.
Ketu became the other half side of rahu lost body, these two rascals are working together now by making people to fight in one house then town then city and at the end they make all these quarrels to become a global conflict through mondial wars stars wars with the help of others malefic planet like Saturn and mars. Actually rahu is been very lucky to take birth in the heavenly asura dynasty because if it was on this planet he could not even become a snake for his robbery to the brahmanas in the heaven.
The SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM says that all the robbers of the brahmanas will become snakes, which is the form that all the robbers of SRILA PRABHUPADA sun will go to get like king nrga for the huge robbery of the century plus the murder within the fake reflection of iskcon. That’s why I said rahu is been very lucky and he can’t be killed for all the troubles that he gives to everyone constantly. Therefore the only way to defeat him is to become a devotee like the sun and moon rulers otherwise we get always troubles through this miserable wretches.
Of course many demons worship rahu and ketu, but this is not my case by fortunem even if I been under their evil influences for a little whilem but I almost defeated them now by increasing the hours of my daily sadhana bhakti yoga. It’s not a easy task I mean one need to work hard to get rid of them, because although they are demons they are superior to the human being therefore the only way to be free from their demoniac influences is the harinam eva kevalam, the chanting of the holy name of SRI KRSNA, through kirtanya sada hari. This supreme yuga dharma is the best weapon to make all the followers of rahu including rahu to run away from our bhajan kutir.

The defiance of Srila Prabhupada by ISKCON “leaders” is the manifestation of ENVY of His Divine Grace.
The orchestrated twisting and denial of Srila Prabhupada’s final order to ECLIPSE the light coming from his teachings was/is directly the result of associating with the bogus philosophical concepts of Sridhar Maharaja, who decades earlier DEFIED his own spiritual master, Acharya Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja Prabhupada to foster and promote this BOGUS ‘living guru concept’
The Gaudiya Math (and other un-orthorized offshoots) now have a plethora of “corner shop Acharyas” who are in essence followers of this ‘bogus living guru concept’ and a direct affront to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja Prabhupada’s order. So this is just history repeating itself!
At this present time the ”Back to Bhakti” website has shut down with the message that reads….”ALL POSTS SUSPENDED UNTIL HARMONY IS RESTORED” Don’t they know that HDG Srila AC Bhaktivedantata Swami Prabhupada is the ONLY successor of HDG Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada? After the message there is also a quote (by Narayana Swami) which reads ……”We should have a school for teaching devotee association and relationships”………. Such a school ALREADY EXISTS! it is called the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya! and the last authorized Acharya is His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada!
The bogus “living guru” concept of FISKCON has been virtually copied verbatim from the Gaudiya Math this has all been well documented.
Those who continue this path of envy, cheating, and defiance of the Acharyas are DOOMED in spite of their trickiness and word jugglery. Sri Krishna will expose them as the liars, theives and sleazebags that they are. How can you have ”harmony” in such a situation? Where is the authority of the Acharyas?
GBC (and their miguided followers) continue to perpetuate this ”living guru” myth! Is there any such thing as ”dead’ Guru? ”dead” Acharya? ”dead” Spiritual Master?……….Absolute rubbish!
Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur………… “He reasons ill, who says that Vaisnavas die, while though art living still in sound. Vaisnavas die to live and in living try to spread the Holy Name around”
Daso Smi
Sudarsana
Yes, Sudarsana Prabhu, this is the crux of the problem both within and outside of ISKCON. Almost everyone wants to be the Spiritual Master rather than serve the Spiritual Master. How unfortunate for them and for everyone else. They’re missing the nectar of the nectar, the spiritual creme de la creme.
Srila Prabhupada described this phenomenon very clearly and beautifully in his Vyasa-Puja homage to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati in the assembly of his godbrothers at the Sri Gaudiya Math in Bombay, 1935:
“The acaryadeva to whom we have assembled tonight to offer our humble homage is not the guru of a sectarian institution or one out of many differing exponents of the truth. On the contrary, he is the jagad-guru, or the guru of all of us, the only difference is that some obey him wholeheartedly, while others do not obey him directly.”
To this day, almost wherever we turn, we can see reluctant souls (and especially so-called “leaders”) squirming in their seats while doing and saying anything and everything under the sun to find an excuse to “not obey him directly.” Even when the rascal phoney “gurus” are exposed, they never come out and tell their unfortunate “disciples” to finally once and for all worship the true acarya. Heaven forbid, anything but that! No, they invariably instruct their “disciples” to then find and worship another phoney “guru,” thus perpetuating the lie from one generation to the next. It’s maya’s big trick and the whole world continues to suffer and go to hell. (“Nero fiddled while Rome burned.”)
Now we see the latest attempt of the up and coming big rascals fancifully and audaciously promoting themselves as the petals of the Prabhupada lotus flower (like Krishna surrounded by the gopis):
http://www.dandavats.com/?p=16272
They will never stop. The “guru disease” in their hearts is so strong that even if Krishna mercifully and personally konks them on the head with a sledge hammer, they stubbornly refuse to wake up (and give up), but instead choose to go down fighting like the drowning captain of a doomed ship at sea, dragging down all those around them. It’s like watching a gross, perverted and never-ending freak show.
When Srila Prabhupada left the planet, the original “anointed eleven” spent an untold number of ISKCON dollars (Prabhupada’s money) printing and distributing their enlarged photographs (“mug shots”) as far and wide as possible. They had their own self-promoting glossy magazines, T-shirts (with their personal photos and slogans like “Vishnupada’s dogs” printed on them), their seats sometimes even bigger than Prabhupada’s, and one “guru” even went as far as wearing a gold-plated crown on his head along with a bejewelled mace to go with it. These were the ISKCON rock star guru wannabes. In spite of their so-called “guru reform” in the mid-eighties, they are still trying to imitate and even outdo Srila Prabhupada. Witness still the following “vyasasana” bigger than Prabhupada’s:
http://www.iskcondesiretree.com/photo/gopal-krishna-goswami-maharaj-11#!/photo/gopal-krishna-goswami-maharaj-4?context=user
These people have no shame or humility. One so-called “guru” back in the day sported a garland of 10,000 U.S. dollars around his neck on his “Vyasa-Puja” day. Another “guru” had gold-plated faucets installed in his bathroom sink, while the lowly “peasants” were forced to have cold showers and live in austere vans while collecting “Laxmi points” for “His Divine Grace Srila So-and-So Pada.” The list goes on and on, as you well know. And Rocan himself militantly enforced this system as one of the big “guru’s” active henchman. Later, in the name of so-called “reform,” they made a backroom deal and expanded this corrupt sytem to include even more “gurus,” instead of disbanding the entire mafia-like operation. So no wonder the ritvik adherents are not welcome on the Sampradaya Sun, Dandavats.com, or any other “authorized” website. The “ritviks” are enemies of the state, a threat to their false kingdoms and a thorn in their side.
Sometimes the task of trying to reveal the truth may seem daunting. Even Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Or as Prabhupada often warned, spiritual life is like a razor’s edge:
“If you are passing through thorns, you must be very careful. Otherwise the thorns will get stuck up with your garment, and you will be inconvenienced. It is said in the Vedas, ksurasya dhārā niśitā duratyayā. Just like we shave with a razor – the razor is very sharp. So if we can carefully handle the razor, we get our cheeks very clean and the business is done. But a little inattention and immediately it will cut and there will be blood.
The path of salvation is very difficult. Just as we are trying to go back to home, back to Godhead, Krishna, the path of which, is very difficult. Durgam means very difficult to pass over. But little attention will save you. A little attention such as, ‘I am passing through a very dangerous way, so I must be very careful.’ So our attention should always be focused on how we are executing our spiritual life.”
(Srila Prabhupada lecture, Los Angeles, June 15, 1972)
Some ot those original eleven “pure devotees” died horrible and violent deaths. One of them had his bones crushed while flying through a car window. Many GBC members rushed to his side at the hospital to view his crumpled body. Unfortunately they could not see this as a great warning which Krishna had arranged for them all, and so they persisted (and persist to this day) to vote in one unqualified “guru” after another in their apa-sampradaya. What can be done? Krishna has given everyone free will. Prabhupada said that “almost everyone” is being cheated willingly by false gurus because they want to be cheated. However, there is still hope for everyone if they mend their ways and finally decide to surrender to the lotus feet of the bona fide acarya in disciplic succession from Krishna Himself:
Reporter: Have you ever had people come to you who had previously been involved with a fake guru?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Yes, there are many.
Reporter: Were their spiritual lives in any way spoiled by the fake gurus?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: No, they were genuinely seeking something spiritual, and that was their qualification. God is within everyone’s heart, and as soon as someone genuinely seeks Him, He helps that person find a genuine guru.
Reporter: Have the real gurus like yourself ever tried to put a stop to the false gurus—that is, put pressure on them to put them out of business, so to speak?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: No, that is not my purpose. I started my movement simply by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. I chanted in New York in a place called Tompkins Square Park, and soon people began to come to me. In this way, the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement gradually developed. Many accepted, and many did not accept. Those who are fortunate have accepted.
Reporter: Don’t you feel that people are suspicious because of their experience with fake gurus? If you went to a quack dentist and he broke your tooth, you might be suspicious about going to another dentist.
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Yes. Naturally, if you are cheated, you become suspicious. But this does not mean that if you are cheated once, you will always be cheated. You should find someone genuine. But to come to Kṛṣṇa consciousness, you must be either very fortunate or well aware of this science. From the Bhagavad-gītā we understand that the genuine seekers are very few: manuṣyāṇāṁ sahasreṣu kaścid yatati siddhaye [Bg. 7.3]. Out of many millions of people, there may be only one who is interested in spiritual life. Generally, people are interested in eating, sleeping, mating, and defending. So how can we expect to find many followers? It is not difficult to notice that people have lost their spiritual interest. And almost all those who are actually interested are being cheated by so-called spiritualists. You cannot judge a movement simply by the number of its followers. If one man is genuine, then the movement is successful. It is not a question of quantity, but quality.
Reporter: I wondered how many people you think might have been taken in by fake gurus.
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Practically everyone. There is no question of counting. Everyone.
Reporter: This would mean thousands of people, wouldn’t it?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Millions. Millions have been cheated, because they want to be cheated. God is omniscient. He can understand your desires. He is within your heart, and if you want to be cheated, God sends you a cheater.
Reporter: ls it possible for everyone to attain the perfectional stage you spoke of previously?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Within a second. Anyone can attain perfection within a second—providing he is willing. The difficulty is that no one is willing. In the Bhagavad-gītā (18.66) Kṛṣṇa says, sarva-dharmān parityajya mām ekaṁ śaraṇaṁ vraja: “Simply surrender unto Me.” But who is going to surrender to God? Everyone says, “Oh, why should I surrender to God? I will be independent.” If you simply surrender, it is a second’s business. That’s all. But no one is willing, and that is the difficulty.
Reporter: When you say that lots of people want to be cheated, do you mean that lots of people want to carry on with their worldly pleasures and at the same time, by chanting a mantra or by holding a flower, achieve spiritual life as well? Is this what you mean by wanting to be cheated?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: Yes, this is like a patient thinking, “I shall continue with my disease, and at the same time I shall become healthy.” It is contradictory. The first requirement is that one become educated in spiritual life. Spiritual life is not something one can understand by a few minutes’ talk. There are many philosophy and theology books, but people are not interested in them. That is the difficulty. For instance, the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is a very long work, and if you try to read this book, it may take many days just to understand one line of it. The Bhāgavatam describes God, the Absolute Truth, but people are not interested. And if, by chance, someone becomes a little interested in spiritual life, he wants something immediate and cheap. Therefore, he is cheated.
(Srila Prabhupada interview with reporter, Science-of-Self-Realization)
Just see how many excuses the rascal mind will concoct so as not to follow Srila Prabhupada and his direct orders. “Maybe a green three-eyed monster from the Planet Zeenoid might appear in my dreams imitating Srila Prabhupada. How will I know? Perhaps it could be a demon in disguise! No, I better play it safe and not follow Prabhupada directly. That’s too risky. I better continue imagining and dreaming up far-fetched excuses not to surrender from my ever fertile imagination instead.” (As the old songs go, “Spinning wheel, got to go round…” and “Will it go round in circles?”)
Humble obeisances to the true and faithful followers of Srila Prabhupada. Such great souls are very rare indeed.
Sudarsana Prabhu writes: “At this present time the ”Back to Bhakti” website has shut down with the message that reads….”ALL POSTS SUSPENDED UNTIL HARMONY IS RESTORED” Don’t they know that HDG Srila AC Bhaktivedantata Swami Prabhupada is the ONLY successor of HDG Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada?”
No, I’m afraid they don’t think this way at all, Prabhu. I know an old friend from my home town who took up Krsna consciousness about 30 years ago. Recently he went to a Narayana Swami meeting and became a convert. Since then he has been going on and on about how everyone must go through Narayana Swami – even Prabhupada disciples. He now “preaches” that Srila Prabhupada came to introduce the ABC’s of spiritual life to the meat-eaters, but Narayana Swami has come to teach the “higher” rasas. He also believes that N. Swami is the successor to Prabhupada, i.e. the next in line in the parampara. According to my old friend, N. Swami said that once he accepts you as a disciple, he “kicks out Supersoul” and resides in the disciple’s heart. (This is his favorite quote from N. Swami.) Now my friend only likes to speak about Radha and the gopis and finding our “siddha-deha,” “siddha-pranali,” etc. However, Srila Prabhupada has clearly condemned this mentality:
Prabhupada: In this sahajiya party, then preaching will be finished. Siddha-pranali. Then everything will be finished. Preaching will be finished.
Tamala Krsna: What does that mean, Srila Prabhupada, siddha-pranali?
Prabhupada: Siddha-pranali is nonsense. They have manufactured a siddha-pranali.
Ramesvara: [break] …the initiation that you are given your siddhas, your eternal position.
Prabhupada: They have learned it from these Radha-kunda babajis.
Tamala Krsna: From Radha-kunda babajis?
Prabhupada: Babajis, yes. After all, they’re fool, rascals, so whatever they say. Let them say all nonsense. They are disqualified. Sahajiya babajis, that’s all….
Hari-sauri: I always understood before that the rasa was fixed, but that within that rasa one may take different…, one may take a different line.
Prabhupada: That will be revealed when you are liberated. Why you are bothering now? A patient is thinking, “How shall I dance when I become healthy?” First of all, rascal, become healthy, then talk of all this. The rascals are thinking like that. You are patient; first of all cure your disease, material disease. Then talk of all this. Utopian….
(Srila Prabhupada Morning Walk, 6-7-76, LA)
Funny thing too is that my old friend has gone back to smoking ganja yet he is now talking about Radharani and the gopis and how Srila Prabhupada’s teaching are only for neophytes. Satsvarupa, Tamal Krsna, Giriraj, Sivarama and many other so-called ISKCON “swamis” and “leaders” were taking such “higher instruction” from N. Swami at one time.
While talking to this fellow, I once called his guru “Narayana Maharaj” and he got very angry with me saying that I must address his guru as “Srila” Narayana Maharaj, otherwise I’m committing a grave offense. There’s no reasoning with this fellow at all and so there’s no common ground for a friendship any more. So it’s no wonder to me that they can find no harmony within their organization since they openly denigrate Srila Prabhupada as if he is some kind of second-rate neophyte. Total madness!
IMHO no question of him even being a ‘Maharaja’. Maybe a ‘swami’ at the very best… so many offenses spoken about Srila Prabhupada. So envious was he, that BV Puri Maharaja said he refused to come to the SriDham Mayapur ground breaking ceremony after Srila Prabhupada personally invited and served all his Godbrothers. He asked BVP to go to Navadvipa to invite Narayan but he declined and made objectionable comments! See ITV interviews with HH BV Puri Maharaja.
Yhs,
Balaram das.
Dear Sriman LW Prabhu, not unlike your ‘old friend’ I too was caught up in Narayana Swami’s web of illusion back in 2008 (I did not know much about him before that) but rejected him a few years later. Although he was formally initiated by Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja (who awarded the order of sannyasa to Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada), Narayana Swami’s philosophy ismainly an extension of partly Sridhar Swami and certain unauthorized Vrindavana babaji’s.
Here is some of the BOGUS philosophy enunciated by Narayana Swami in Venu Gita Introduction…..
“Those who beleive that only sadhakas who are completely free from all anarthas are eligible to hear the above mentioned pastimes (of Krishna and the gopis),will neither become free from anarthas, nor obtain eligibility to hear even after millions of births…Then how can this greed be obtained?…Faithfully hearing the narrations of Sri Krishna’s pastimes, saturated with the rasa from the lips of rasika vaisnavas or by faithfully studying the literature related to the pastimes of Sri Krishna composed by them, this greed may be obtained. Besides this there is no other means”
This philosophical deviation of course is COMPLETELY REFUTED by present Acharya Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It is also COMPLETELY REFUTED by Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja (Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada’s sannyasa guru and also guru of Narayana Swami himself!). It is also COMPLETELY REFUTED by Acharya Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami Prabhupada and also COMPLETELY REFUTED by Acharya Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur!
AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada COMPLETELY REFUTES Narayana Swami
(as Sriman LW Prabhu has quoted from His Divine Grace above)………
“That will be revealed when you are liberated. Why are you bothering now? A patient is thinking, “How shall I dance when I become healthy?” First of all rascal, become healthy, then talk of all this. The rascals are thinking like that. You are patient; first of all cure your disease, material disease. Then talk of all this. Utopian…
Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja COMPLETELY REFUTES Narayana Swami…….
(His Life and Teachings Part 4 Page 343.)
“One day a devotee was studying the commentaries on Rasa Lila, Brahmara Gita and so-on and Srila Gurudeva (Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur) said “The qualification to hear topics of Rasa Lila will come when Sri-Nama-Kirtana has freed the heart from anarthas and Suddha-Sattva has appeared there”
Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur COMPLETELY REFUTES Narayana Swami…..
(As he has done in the pevious statement (which is supported by Bhakti Prajnan Keshava Maharaja)
{From Prabhupada Patravali Chapter 1}
“There is no point in making a separate effort to artificially remember the Lords form, qualities and pastimes. The Lord and His name are one and the same. This will be understood clearly when the coverings in our hearts are removed. By chanting without offences you will personally realize, that all perfections come from the Holy Name”
Srila Bhaktivinode Thakur ALSO COMPLETELY REFUTES Narayana Swami……
(The Thakur also states that rasa is NOT a part of sadhana in Sri Chaitanya Siksamrrta. Ch7. Part 1.)
“Those who have not attained pure Rati and sense control, make futile attempts to become qualified for Rasa by practicing Rasa. That taste which arises naturally in a person on the level of Prem is called Rasa. The discussion of Rasa is only a description of how the various elements combine in the different Rasas; It is not a part of Sadhana. Therefore if anyone says that he will teach you the Sadhana of Rasa, he is an imposter or a fool”
“AN IMPOSTER OR A FOOL!” This is what one of our most prominent Acharyas states regarding the philosophical unauthorized philosophy of Narayana Swami and this is backed up by Narayana Swami’s own Gurudeva, Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and ALSO Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada. How can it be any clearer than that! How can there be ‘HARMONY’ in such a situation?
All glories to His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and all his sincere followers.

When faced with the facts most followers of Narayana Swami resort to abnegation (which is another word for denial). It results in an immediate responding, defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept, even if spoken by previous Acharyas in unanimity. Only by self delusion do they deny the conclusion of the authorized Acharyas despite overwhelming evidence.
FISKCON is no different to the Gaudiya Math in this regard as they both function like a ”mutual admiration society” praising each other, the same way as the ‘Hollywood acting fraternity’….an aberration and departure from the conclusions of the Acharyas. They make a ‘show’ of meetings and commitees ‘to try to improve’ devotee ‘relationships’ or ‘guru reform’ but this is just ‘smoke and mirrors’ as they squirm and shuffle to try ANYTHING to avoid following the instructions of the Acharyas, such is the modus-operandi of such rascals and fools (and imposters!).
In Australia (and the World) it’s a similar story in society in general where the politicians create the myth that ”it is only for the general populations benifit” that political parties exist and do so ”to just serve the people”, when the real reason is that they are puppets of Multinational Corporations who’s only interest is to ”maintain control” while they ‘plunder and pillage the World.
All the ”religious” organizations of the world have been infiltrated and neutralized by an increasing extremist, right-wing, corrupt, fascist, and Zionist agender which wants to plunder and control. FISKCON and Gaudiya Math function outside the realm of Guru Tattva and the “leaders” surround themselves with their ”leutenants and enforcers” and are nothing but ”criminal organizations” of debauchees and flunky’s who subvert the true mission of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Balaram das : IMHO no question of him even being a ‘Maharaja’.
Mahesh: Narayan “Maharaja” was a CHEATER. Swami means one who controls his senses. So he is NOT a swami nor Maharaja. He was ENVIOUS of Srila Prabhupada and STOLE his disciples eg. Jadurani and gave them other initiated names. The Gaudiya math and ISKCON’S bogus gurus are ENVIOUS of Srila Prabhupada’s unique position of DIKSA Guru: A MUNDANE PERSON IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA SHOULD NOT BE RESPECTED BUT REJECTED. THIS IS ENJOINED IN THE SASTRA (UPEKSA). THE WORD UPEKSA MEANS NEGLECT. ONE SHOULD NEGLECT AN ENVIOUS PERSON.
Madhya 1.218 The Later Pastimes of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
Srila Narottama dasa Thakura says, chadiya vaisnava seva nistara payeche keba: unless one serves a Vaisnava, he cannot be delivered. The spiritual master initiates the disciple to deliver him, and if the disciple executes the order of the spiritual master and does not offend other Vaisnavas, his path is clear. Consequently Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu requested all the Vaisnavas present to show mercy toward the two brothers, Rupa and Sanatana, who had just been initiated by the Lord. When a Vaisnava sees that another Vaisnava is a recipient of the Lord’s mercy, he becomes very happy. Vaisnavas are not envious. If a Vaisnava, by the mercy of the Lord, is empowered by Him to distribute the Lord’s holy name all over the world, other Vaisnavas become very joyful–that is, if they are truly Vaisnavas. One who is envious of the success of a Vaisnava is certainly not a Vaisnava himself, but an ordinary mundane man. Envy and jealousy are manifested by mundane people, not by Vaisnavas. Why should a Vaisnava be envious of another Vaisnava who is successful in spreading the holy name of the Lord? An actual Vaisnava is very pleased to accept another Vaisnava who is bestowing the Lord’s mercy. A MUNDANE PERSON IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA SHOULD NOT BE RESPECTED BUT REJECTED. THIS IS ENJOINED IN THE SASTRA (UPEKSA). THE WORD UPEKSA MEANS NEGLECT. ONE SHOULD NEGLECT AN ENVIOUS PERSON. A preacher’s duty is to love the Supreme Personality of Godhead, make friendships with Vaisnavas, show mercy to the innocent and reject or neglect those who are envious or jealous. THERE ARE MANY JEALOUS PEOPLE IN THE DRESS OF VAISNAVAS IN THIS KRSNA CONSCIOUSNESS MOVEMENT, AND THEY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY NEGLECTED. THERE IS NO NEED TO SERVE A JEALOUS PERSON WHO IS IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA. When Narottama dasa Thakura says chadiya vaisnava seva nistara payeche keba, he is indicating an actual Vaisnava, not an envious or jealous person in the dress of a Vaisnava.
Prabhupada: We get full sunshine. Yes.
Guest (1): Prabhupada, what is the meaning of the word Srila?
Prabhupada: Srila is… just like we say “Sri” to the ordinary person. And Srila to very respectable person.
Guest (1): La.
Prabhupada: La, yes. Sri means beauty, and la means lila. So “ONE WHO IS INVESTED WITH BOTH BEAUTY AND THE POWER TO UNDERSTAND THE LILA OF KRSNA.”
Note: the difference between Srila Prabhupada and Gaudiya Math/ISKCON bogus Rubber-stamped opportunists CON MEN “gurus” is Srila Prabupada was invested with the VISION to SEE Krsna’s PASTIMES TELEVISED IN HIS HEART. BECAUSE of THIS when we read Srila Prabhupada’s books we can find KNOWLEDGE of SPIRITUAL WORLD. If you do not SEE Krsna and his pastimes HOW can you GIVE that knowledge? Others envious of him are PARROTS who PARROT RECITE scriptures slokas BUT Srila Prabhupada is SELF-REALIZED. His title SRILA refers to one who has ENTERED the LILA of Krsna hence, he can give KNOWLEDGE of Spiritual World that others can NOT. santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti means he has the POWER to SEE Krsna TELEVISED in HIS HEART AT EVERY MOMENT.
SB 2.9.35 P Answers by Citing the Lord’ s Version
The impersonalists can imagine or even perceive that the Supreme Brahman is thus all-pervading, and therefore they conclude that there is no possibility of His personal form. Herein lies the mystery of His transcendental knowledge. This mystery is transcendental love of Godhead, and one who is surcharged with such transcendental love of Godhead can without difficulty see the Personality of Godhead in every atom and every movable or immovable object. And at the same time he can see the Personality of Godhead in His own abode, Goloka, enjoying eternal pastimes with His eternal associates, who are also expansions of His transcendental existence. This vision is the real mystery of spiritual knowledge, as stated by the Lord in the beginning (sarahasyam tad-angam ca). This mystery is the most confidential part of the knowledge of the Supreme, and it is impossible for the mental speculators to discover by dint of intellectual gymnastics. The mystery can be revealed through the process recommended by Brahmaji in his Brahma-samhita (5.38) as follows:
premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
“I worship the original Personality of Godhead, Govinda, whom the pure devotees, their eyes smeared with the ointment of love of Godhead, always observe within their hearts. This Govinda, the original Personality of Godhead, is Syamasundara with all transcendental qualities.”
Therefore, although He is present in every atom, the Supreme Personality of Godhead may not be visible to the dry speculators; STILL THE MYSTERY IS UNFOLDED BEFORE THE EYES OF THE PURE DEVOTEES BECAUSE THEIR EYES ARE ANOINTED WITH LOVE OF GODHEAD. AND THIS LOVE OF GODHEAD CAN BE ATTAINED ONLY BY THE PRACTICE OF TRANSCENDENTAL LOVING SERVICE OF THE LORD, AND NOTHING ELSE. THE VISION OF THE DEVOTEES IS NOT ORDINARY; IT IS PURIFIED BY THE PROCESS OF DEVOTIONAL SERVICE. IN OTHER WORDS, AS THE UNIVERSAL ELEMENTS ARE BOTH WITHIN AND WITHOUT, SIMILARLY THE LORD’S NAME, FORM, QUALITY, PASTIMES, ENTOURAGE, ETC., AS THEY ARE DESCRIBED IN THE REVEALED SCRIPTURES OR AS PERFORMED IN THE VAIKUNTHALOKAS, FAR, FAR BEYOND THE MATERIAL COSMIC MANIFESTATION, ARE FACTUALLY BEING TELEVISED IN THE HEART OF THE DEVOTEE. The man with a poor fund of knowledge cannot understand, although by material science one can see things far away by means of television. FACTUALLY, THE SPIRITUALLY DEVELOPED PERSON IS ABLE TO HAVE THE TELEVISION OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD ALWAYS REFLECTED WITHIN HIS HEART. THAT IS THE MYSTERY OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD.
6.1569-01-22. Letter: Vilasavigraha
In regard to your next question, self realization means God realization, and God realization means self realization. JUST LIKE TO SEE THE SUN MEANS TO SEE ONESELF, AND TO SEE ONESELF MEANS TO SEE THE SUN. SELF REALIZATION DEPENDS COMPLETELY UPON GOD REALIZATION, OR ELSE IT IS NOT COMPLETE. ONE MUST KNOW HIS RELATIONSHIP TO THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH TO FULLY KNOW HIS POSITION.
SB 6.15 Summary The Saints Narada and Angira Instruct King Citraketu
SELF-REALIZATION MEANS SPIRITUAL REALIZATION OF ONE’S RELATIONSHIP WITH KRSNA. Such realization ends one’s miserable material life.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1.6.33 Purport – Conversation Between Narada and Vyasadeva:
“The Absolute Personality of Godhead is not different from His transcendental name, form, pastimes and the sound vibrations thereof. AS SOON AS A PURE DEVOTEE ENGAGES HIMSELF IN THE PURE DEVOTIONAL SERVICE OF HEARING, CHANTING AND REMEMBERING THE NAME, FAME AND ACTIVITIES OF THE LORD, AT ONCE HE BECOMES VISIBLE TO THE TRANSCENDENTAL EYES OF THE PURE DEVOTEE BY REFLECTING HIMSELF ON THE MIRROR OF THE HEART BY SPIRITUAL TELEVISION. THEREFORE A PURE DEVOTEE WHO IS RELATED WITH THE LORD IN LOVING TRANSCENDENTAL SERVICE CAN EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD AT EVERY MOMENT. It is a natural psychology in every individual case that a person likes to hear and enjoy his personal glories enumerated by others. That is a natural instinct, and the Lord, being also an individual personality like others, is not an exception to this psychology because psychological characteristics visible in the individual souls are but reflections of the same psychology in the Absolute Lord. The only difference is that the Lord is the greatest personality of all and absolute in all His affairs. If, therefore, the Lord is attracted by the pure devotee’s chanting of His glories, there is nothing astonishing. Since He is absolute, He can appear Himself in the picture of His glorification, the two things being identical. Srila Narada chants the glorification of the Lord not for his personal benefit but because the glorifications are identical with the Lord. Narada Muni penetrates into the presence of the Lord by the transcendental chanting.”
For those who are envious of His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada there is no question that such persons are neither ‘great souls’ (Maharaja) or ‘swami’ (one who has controlled his senses) so I agree totally with the points made by Mahesh Raja and Balaram Prabhus.
In the case of FISKCON and Gaudiya Math (though their ”mutual envy of Srila Prabhupada and previous Acharyas doesn’t warrant it”) I only use these terms somewhat ‘reluctantly’ and for identification purposes ONLY.

Yes Sudarsana Prabhu.. I think “tongue in cheek” may be our appropriate mindset if we have to refer to them for identification. Anyway not Gosvamis, just godas as Prabhupada said, ‘servant of the senses’.
Yhs, Bal.
Haribol Sudarsana Prabhu. Thank you very much for sharing your story and realizations. You’re very fortunate to have escaped that situation, by Krsna’s grace. As quoted earlier from a conversation with Srila Prabhupada:
Reporter: Have you ever had people come to you who had previously been involved with a fake guru?
Srila Prabhupada: Yes, there are many.
Reporter: Were their spiritual lives in any way spoiled by the fake gurus?
Srila Prabhupada: No, they were genuinely seeking something spiritual, and that was their qualification. God is within everyone’s heart, and as soon as someone genuinely seeks Him, He helps that person find a genuine guru.
And later:
Reporter: I wondered how many people you think might have been taken in by fake gurus.
Srila Prabhupada: Practically everyone. There is no question of counting. Everyone.
Reporter: This would mean thousands of people, wouldn’t it?
Srila Prabhupada: Millions.
Srila Prabhupada was so humble that he never directly came out and said that everyone should follow him, but it’s not too difficult to come to the right conclusion:
Srila Prabhupada: Many accepted, and many did not accept. Those who are fortunate have accepted.
Sudarsana Prabhu, Krsna has put you in a very unique position. Quite rare indeed. As the old saying goes, “You can’t keep a good man down.” Congratulations!
I agree with everyone here about using the title “Maharaj” in this particular case. I only did so out of respect for my friend and his personal choice so that he would show respect for Srila Prabhupada. Sometimes I find it’s best to “go in like a needle and come out like a plow,” rather than attack a person’s faith outright which may elicit an offensive response. Fortunately, that strategy worked. He may not be as lucky as Sudarsana Prabhu (to date), but at least he holds reverence for Srila Prabhupada and that’s a start. As for the title “Swami,” I use it solely for “identification puposes” as well.
It’s true, of course, that N. Swami has made some very offensive statements towards Srila Prabhupada. I also dislike hearing Prabhupada addressed as “Swami Maharaj.” I raised this issue with my friend and he said that that’s Srila Prabhupada’s “sannyasa name.” I countered that “A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami” is the proper sannyasa name, and that Prabhupada should at least be addressed as such, or as “Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami” if N. swami didn’t want to say the name Prabhupada (for some reason) when referring to His Divine Grace. Fortunately my friend agreed, so that’s a small step in the right direction at least. Hopefully he’ll fully get it as soon as possible.
Frankly, I couldn’t believe how brainwashed this fellow sounded. He was obviously parroting things he had heard about Srila Prabhupada, but he had no scriptural references or personal realization of his own to share. Those people are obviously indoctrinated (read: contaminated), and very quickly too. He was not at all like that before he attended a few of their meetings. Suddenly he was saying things like “the disciplic succession does not end with Prabhupada,” and “one has to have a living guru,” etc. He never said those things beforehand.
One of the problems is that ISKCON hasn’t much to offer in the way of authentic looking “gurus,” so N. Swami seems better in comparison. A small bush in the desert appears like a big tree, I suppose. N. Swami filled a void when the ISKCON “gurus” kicked out Srila Prabhupada from his position of “jagat-guru” to one and all. That might be a little understandable from the point of view of the new folks. But surely that doesn’t apply to those Prabhupada initiates who ran off to N. Swami, abandoning their exclusive dedication to Srila Prabhupada. That seems like some kind of character weakness, or at least spiritual infidelity. Srila Prabhupada warned in the Fourth Canto that when the acarya leaves chaos ensues, so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. But we should always beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. Some people have material charisma – Mick Jagger for example – but such charisma should never be mistaken as some kind of spiritual potency, even if said person dressed himself up like a Vaisnava. Srila Prabhupada condemned such an idea:
“If somebody thinks, ‘Oh, here is a snake with jewel. Let me embrace him, no, no, no, it is very ferocious. Even it is jewel there, it is ferocious. Similarly, these people are envious. Although they have become so-called Vaisnava, they are ferocious. They have not acquired the qualification of Vaisnava. Simply vesopidin(?), by dress.”
(Srila Prabhupada room conversation, Vrindavan, May 24, 1977)
Thankfully, Srila Prabhupada has given us all the warnings and relevant advice in his books, lectures, letters, conversations and personal example. There’s no need or room for making any mistakes when surrendering one’s heart and soul to the spiritual master. It’s the responsibility of ISKCON leaders to get out of the way and simply present Srila Prabhupada as he is. Then all of this chaos and heartbreak would never have occurred in ISKCON’s history. Perhaps in time things will shift and right themselves. For the sake of the entire world and for all living entities, I sure hope so. There’s not much time left.
By the way, Mahesh Raja Prabhu, thanks for all the nice Prabhupada quotes. Speaking of which, here’s one of my favorites:
“Just like Krishna can be present simultaneously in millions of places, similarly the spiritual master also can be present wherever the disciple wants. A spiritual master is the principle, not the body. Just like a television can be seen in thousands of places by the principle of relay monitoring.”
(Srila Prabhupada letter, May 28, 1968)
All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to the assembled devotees.
Dear Sriman LW Prabhu. I much appreciate your thoughts and comment on this most important subject.
If it was indeed ‘luck’ as you say, I would have been most fortunate to have come to a realization about the duplicious nature of Narayana ”Swami” well before Maya had me down on the ground, giving me a good kicking as a result of being duped by him. He was certainly a very slippery and charismatic customer and highly venomous also.
It does give me an overwhelming urge to warn others, though even though I have come to the realization that it is generally perceived that it is only the minority of fortunate souls that are ready to accept the truth. The vast majority (in this material world at least) are content to be cheated, time and time again.
If I may make a comment on one particular sentence that you wrote LW Prabhu…..Quote ”N Swami filled a void when the ISKCON “gurus” kicked out Srila Prabhupada as “jagat guru” to one and all.
In essence no such ‘void’ existed but the ‘ill conceived, illusory suggestion of one” based on the asuric, bogus, immature, and false philosophical concepts of certain GBC rascals who were also beying manipulated by the unauthorized doctrines of Sridhar ”swami” and Narayana ”swami”. Also in reality Srila Prabhupada can NEVER be kicked out (even though this may appear so in the material context) by such deluded envious individuals, he remains untouched always eternally situated at the lotus feet of his Gurudeva and Lord Sri Krishna and always available to his sincere followers. It is a fact however that the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna has ”kicked out” (from His Divine loving embrace) the most duplicious rascals and fools who have dared to offend His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja Prabhupada, though the ‘illusory energy’ may suggest another picture.
Forgive me for presenting another angle of vision, I guess there are many ways to view this situation.
I am always appreciating your views and comments.
Your servant
Sudarsana
Jaya Prabhu. You’re absolutely right. I should have said, “tried” to kick out Srila Prabhupada. Of course, no one can EVER kick out Prabhupada. Those who dare try will soon discover the utter madness and futility of that hare-brained idea. I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes, that’s for sure. Kudos to you for learning from your experiences. Some people never do, until it’s too late. You’re so fortunate – you got the mercy! So you can certainly speak with authority on this matter (vijnana), and can undoubtedly help others who may end up in the same (or similar) boat. Srila Prabhupada ki jaya!
P.S. Sudarsana Prabhu:
Actually, when I wrote that you’re so lucky, I didn’t mean to say that you didn’t have a hand in your good fortune because you do. As illustrated in the following memory of Vishnujana Swami by a devotee named Gokularanjana das, Prabhupada’s mercy is available to everyone, but it’s up to each individual to reach out and take that mercy:
“Vishnujana took Prabhupada’s mercy very seriously. There was a story where he said, ‘It’s because of your mercy, Srila Prabhupada,’ and Prabhupada said, ‘No, I’m distributing it equally, but you are taking advantage of it.’”
Gurudas relates a nice story which can also be applied here:
“Another time, when I asked Prabhupada about Krishna’s mercy, he imitated Krishna and poked me three times in the belly, saying, ‘Take my mercy, take, take.'”
So you get the credit for taking advantage of the wonderful mercy which we’ve all been given by Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krsna. Yes, that mercy sometimes comes in the form of “the sauce,” but that’s OK – we’ll take it!
“If a devotee is slapped by Govinda, he doesn’t take it as an insult, but takes it as Krishna’s mercy.”
(Srila Prabhupada quoted by Gurudas)
Once we’ve been slapped around a few times, we won’t forget it, will we? “Those who are on this path are resolute in purpose, and their aim is one.” (B.G. 2.41) Next stop, Prabhupada’s lotus feet forever!
Dear L W Prabhu. Thank you for your realizations of Sri Krishna’s mercy. Yes, it is a fact that whether mercy comes in the form of sweet nectar or in the form of pain the result is the same, always an impetus to gain more understanding of spiritual life. Sometimes the Acharya is hard like the thunderbolt or soft like a rose but his mercy is distributed equally to all. Such knowledge ONLY comes from the vaniseva of Srila Prabhupada, this is the paramount principal and most important understanding.
Some deluded personalities (who’s names I won’t mention) fantasize about ”associating” with Srila Prabhupada, sitting on a park bench with Srila Prabhupada, watching the sunset (or something like that!) but what Srila Prabhupada stresses in importance are his INSTRUCTIONS that is real association with the Acharya. This is the ONLY WAY to please Srila Prabhupada and the ONLY WAY to gain spiritual realization not whimsical, sentimental fantasies and all the while completely ignoring Acharyas instructions.
L W Prabhu, It is clear that your sound realisations are a direct result of your dedication to the vaniseva of Srila Prabhupada. May Srila Prabhupada bless you more and more.
Daso Smi
Sudarsana
Haribol Sudarsana Prabhu,
Thank you very much for your kind words, although I’m certainly most undeserving.
I’m still amazed by your incredible story, i.e.”the great escape!” Krsna kindly teaches us in so many ways. Despite that we may sometimes trip or stumble along the path, Krsna and Prabhupada are always there to help and correct the sincere souls who surrender to Their lotus feet. It seems that most of us have to go through the “school of hard knocks” at one time or another on the journey back home. But we just have to carry on, “by hook or by crook,” and we’ll eventually get there sooner or later.
“A devotee always accepts his distress as minimized by God’s mercy, although he would have to suffer many more times the suffering. Anyone who accepts this philosophy of God’s mercy in suffering conditions, and still makes progress in Krishna consciousness, it is said that he is sure to go back to home, back to Godhead.”
(Srila Prabhupada letter, February 13, 1968)
Srila Prabhupada ki jaya!
LW quotes in his March 23 posting the following, which I very much appreciated:
Reporter: Have the real gurus like yourself ever tried to put a stop to the false gurus—that is, put pressure on them to put them out of business, so to speak?
Śrīla Prabhupāda: No, that is not my purpose. I started my movement simply by chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa. I chanted in New York in a place called Tompkins Square Park, and soon people began to come to me. In this way, the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement gradually developed. Many accepted, and many did not accept. Those who are fortunate have accepted.”
(Srila Prabhupada lecture, Los Angeles, June 15, 1972)
The reason that I appreciated this so much was that it brought to mind that a lot of the time many of us (including myself), find ourselves preoccupied with just the type of activities that Srila Prabhupdada is telling us here that it is not his purpose to perform, namely trying to put a stop to the false gurus, putting pressure on them to put them out of business, etc. What I am wondering is that since this is not the purpose of Krsna’s pure devotee Srila Prabhupada, should any of us be engaging in it or is it something that is instead unnecessary and which will detract and distract us from what should be our only purpose if we spend to much time engaging in it?,
Sudarsam writes:
“If it was indeed ‘luck’ as you say, I would have been most fortunate to have come to a realization about the duplicious nature of Narayana ”Swami” well before Maya had me down on the ground, giving me a good kicking as a result of being duped by him. He was certainly a very slippery and charismatic customer and highly venomous also.”
Ah, there it is: “was”. At first I thought that this Narayana Swami was a different person that the one that I wrote so many “What I Think of Narayana Maharaja” articles and had published, mainly upon Rocana dasa’s web site The Sampradaya Sun, though many were also copied onto this site.
I remember one day, about a year following the second time that I attended a meeting with him and his disciples I found myself standing across the street from an old abandomed church in Venice CA, chanting Hare Krsna and just thinking to myself how nice it would be it that old church were to experience a re-birth, become a temple of Sri Sri Radha Govinda and a head quarters of Narayana Maharajas sanga.
About four years later I found myself in the same area and as I walked by the old church noted that it had been painted in the same saffron color that the temple on Watseka ib Culver City Ca had been painted in, I didn’t have much yime to reflect on this as a few more steps brought me into the vision of a young boy clad in a dhoti and a kirta wearing tilak and his father coming down the temples back steps.
Now, what had happened to make Bhakta George who was widely regarded back then as Narayana Mararajas implacable enemy want the temple to be a headquarters of Narayana Maharajas sanga is an eben stranger story than this one which also happens to be true.
Things might have been different if I had have accepted his call that night when Narayana closed down the temple for the firt time or had Rocana dasa accepted my invitation to go with me to India to see Narayana Maharaja and “beard the lion in his den” so to speak, but I think not.
“
With regards to the title of this article, I notice that the GBC are now building an elaborate “Retirement Village/Elders’ Enclave” in Sri Mayapur Dhama:
http://www.dandavats.com/?p=16535
Do you wonder for who this retirement village is being built and under whose control?
“Resolved: That the Retirement Village/Elders’ Enclave is under the exclusive direction of the international GBC Body. There is no direction or control from any other ISKCON entity.”
So I guess that means that the GBC themselves will decide who lives there (and who doesn’t), since “there is no direction or control from any other ISKCON entity.”
So do you think that the rank-and-file devotee will be allowed in? Perhaps if they have a lot of money, but how about those devotees who spent years and even decades of their lives out on the streets selling books and/or collecting “Laxmi points” for ISKCON, not keeping a red cent for themselves? Sounds like another power grab, doesn’t it? Now the so-called “GBC Emeritus” (retired GBC members but keeping their honorary title) will have a luxury resort where they can be worshiped and cared for nicely until the end of their lives. How convenient.
Meanwhile, here are a few quotes from Srila Prabhupada regarding his vision and plan for the GBC:
“GBC members are simply to see that things are going on. Other centers have got president, secretary, etc. and they are managing separately. That is the formula. So how is it that the GBC are the final authority? They are simply to examine that things are going on nicely, that is all.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, July 9th, 1971)
“GBC does not mean to control a center. GBC means to see that the activities of a center go on nicely. I do not know why Tamala is exercising his absolute authority. That is not the business of GBC. […]
GBC is to see that things are going nicely but not to exert absolute authority. That is not in the power of GBC. Tamala should not do like that […] A GBC member cannot go beyond the jurisdiction of his power.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, August 12th, 1971)
“GBC men should not dictate very much, simply supervise and see that the standards are maintained.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, February 14th, 1972)
“What will happen when I am not here, shall everything be spoiled by GBC? So for the time being, let the GBC activities be suspended until I thoroughly revise the whole procedure.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, April 11th, 1972)
“I made the GBC to give me relief, but if you do like this, then where is the relief. It is anxiety for me. This is the difficulty, that as soon as one gets power, he becomes whimsical and spoils everything.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, September 12th, 1974 )
“I am training some of my experienced disciples how to manage after my departure. So if instead of taking the training, if in my lifetime you people say I am the Lord of all I survey, that is dangerous conspiracy.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, October 8th, 1974)
“Now has the GBC become more than Guru Maharaja? As if simply GBC is meant for looking after pounds, shilling, pence. The GBC does not look after spiritual life. That is a defect.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, November 10th, 1975)
“Regarding your questions you say that amongst the elder disciples there are still symptoms of greed, anger, strife, bickering, etc., but you are one of them. You are one of the old students, so you fall in that group. So the fighting is among that group, but not amongst the real workers.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, September 9, 1972″
It’s interesting to note that Srila Prabhupada specifically wrote that “GBC is not meant to control…” and that “GBC men should not dictate very much…” Yet nowadays ISKCON is awash with one GBC resolution after another ad infinitum. It seems they want to control everything and everyone in the society. Who can live under such stifling conditions – or for how long? Prabhupada had another idea:
“Regarding your points about taxation, corporate status, etc., I have heard from Jayatirtha you want to make big plan for centralization of management, taxes, monies, corporate status, bookkeeping, credit, like that. I do not at all approve of such plan. Do not centralize anything. Each temple must remain independent and self-sufficient. That was my plan from the very beginning, why you are thinking otherwise? Once before you wanted to do something centralizing with your GBC meeting, and if I did not interfere the whole thing would have been killed. Do not think in this way of big corporation, big credits, centralization—these are all nonsense proposals. Only thing I wanted was that books printing and distribution should be centralized, therefore I appointed you and Bali Mardan to do it. Otherwise, management, everything, should be done locally by local men. Accounts must be kept, things must be in order and lawfully done, but that should be each temple’s concern, not yours. Krishna Consciousness Movement is for training men to be independently thoughtful and competent in all types of departments of knowledge and action, not for making bureaucracy. Once there is bureaucracy the whole thing will be spoiled. There must be always individual striving and work and responsibility, competitive spirit, not that one shall dominate and distribute benefits to the others and they do nothing but beg from you and you provide. No. Never mind there may be botheration to register each centre, take tax certificate each, become separate corporations in each state. That will train men how to do these things, and they shall develop reliability and responsibility, that is the point.”
(Srila Prabhupada Letter, December 22, 1972)
Srila Prabhupada originally built a house in which the world could live, but now that house is only suitable for the wealthy ruling class and their sycophants. In the meantime, the whole world is rushing towards hell and tens of thousands of former members and supporters of ISKCON are suffering from the loss of their spiritual family and association due to not being able to live within the house of their spiritual master. Despite the construction of big, big buildings and fancy retirement villages, things are not right if so many sincere devotees are suffering. Srila Prabhupada warned:
“Therefore we have created these GBC. So they should be very responsible men. Otherwise, they will be punished. They will be punished to become a śūdra. Although Yamarāja is a GBC, but he made a little mistake. He was punished to become a śūdra. So those who are GBC’s, they should be very, very careful to administer the business of ISKCON. Otherwise they will be punished. As the post is very great, similarly, the punishment is also very great. That is the difficulty.”
(Srila Prabhupada Lecture, June 4, 1974)
Hare Krsna LW Prabhu,
Thanks for all the wonderful quotes from His Divine Grace.
The irony is that if this ‘facility’ is for the ordained ‘select few’, these mega rich corporate career GBC, guroos etc are the ones that least need it. Just like in material world, the top 1% control 70% of the world’s finances.
Oh well, I guess that would free up their wealth for more speculative hedge funds, futures and property markets etc. Not naming any names haha.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely!
Yhs,
Bal
Haribol Balaramaji Prabhu,
Yes, your quote is most appropriate: “Absolute power corrupts absolutely!”
Srila Prabhupada knew the danger of this propensity well, so he tried his utmost to ensure that it wouldn’t manifest in ISKCON:
“I wish that each and every branch shall keep their separate identity and cooperate keeping the Acarya in the center. On this principle we can open any number of branches all over the world.”
(Srila Prabhupada letter, February 11, 1967)
“I am the Spiritual Master of this institution, and all the members of the Society, they’re supposed to be my disciples. They follow the rules and regulations which I ask them to follow, and they are initiated by me spiritually.”
(Srila Prabhupada radio interview, March 12, 1968, San Francisco)
How many times did Prabhupada say, “No change”? So what did they do? Change everything, of course, to suite their ends — twisting the words of the Acarya for their own benefit. Of course, this is all futile and doomed to failure. They have somehow forgotten that His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is both THE Founder and THE Acarya of the society. He is Prabhupada — the “master at whose feet all other masters sit.” Everyone else is a mere firefly (at best) compared to the glorious SUN of his divine presence. Srila Prabhupada not only preached the message of Krsna, but he lived it as well. He is the bona fide Acarya in disciplic succession teaching us all by his own personal example.
So when did we see Prabhupada making plans for a “retirement village”? In the last days, he asked his disciples to take him on parikrama to Govardhana Hill on a bullock-cart — not a luxurious situation by any means. And in life, he stayed at the Radha-Damodara temple in Vrindavan for six years –and not in the lap of luxury. Nor was his room on the Bowery in New York from 1965-66 in the least bit comfortable or opulent. To the contrary, it was small and austere with not even a bathroom, and he had to step over derelicts and drunkards in the doorway leading up four flights of stairs to his tiny loft apartment. No elevator, no air-conditioning, no personal servants. In this way, Srila Prabhupada practised (and proved) his complete dependence on the mercy of Krsna and the Spiritual Master. Therefore he is the true Swami or Goswami — the master of the senses, and not the servant of the senses. As he wrote to his beloved Gurudeva, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, in 1935:
“Had you not come
Who had told
The message of Krsna
Forceful and bold.
That’s your right
You have the mace
Save me a fallen
Your Divine Grace.”
Srila Prabhupada has certainly also earned the right to “have the mace.” In this connection, here is a very instructive Prabhupada memory:
“With graceful artistry, Prabhupada sat at his desk and applied Vaisnava tilaka to his forehead. Ramesvara Swami thought to himself that everything about Prabhupada, the way he sat or walked, the way he dressed, and the way he put on his tilaka, it was all majestic and opulent. As Prabhupada stood to leave the room, Ramesvara voiced his appreciation.
‘Prabhupada, you appear to us to be just like a king.’
‘I am much more than any king,’ said Prabhupada, and then he walked downstairs.
There he was met by a hundred devotees who accompanied him to the airport as he began another world tour.”
(Prabhupada Nectar)
Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
LV: Do you wonder for who this retirement village is being built and under whose control?
“Resolved: That the Retirement Village/Elders’ Enclave is under the exclusive direction of the international GBC Body. There is no direction or control from any other ISKCON entity.”
So I guess that means that the GBC themselves will decide who lives there (and who doesn’t), since “there is no direction or control from any other ISKCON entity.”
Mahesh: This was an emails exchange that was received in 2009 regards what goes on in Mayapura circles. I think—– you ALL will be interested:

Subject: Dear Richard, Prabhupada never asked us to dumb down!
Please accept my humble obeisances.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Thank you to the devotees who have given support & encouragement to me in exposing the wrongdoings which I have witnessed, & thereby helped me to free myself from the implications described by Prabhupada in the following quote:
Prabhupada has stated in his conversations of May 3, 1973, Los Angeles,
“…one who is mischievous, he is culprit. But one who tolerates mischievous activity, he is also culprit. If you are mischievous, you are criminal. But if you tolerate mischievous activities that is also criminal. ”
& on April 19, 1973:
“So you all write very strongly vehemently. Even it is a little offensive, still these rascals should be taught a lesson. Yes. They’re misleading. Godlessness.”
The next quote was provided by Mahesh Prabhu, sorry I’ve lost the date reference.
” Now they are talking nonsense. We can detect that “Here is a jackal.” So we have to expose them. They are not leader; they are jackals. So jackals cannot anymore rule over. That should be our propaganda. Not only scientific, all political things, social things, everything. They should be all kicked out. They should be replaced by Krsna consciousness. Then people will be happy. This should be our program. Our, this propaganda means to make people happy. It is not a business, to make business and take some money. And so many jackals have been arrested and resigned in your… You know that? Many jackals have been obliged to resign their post in the government.”
The following text is taken from my descriptions for my doctor, to explain why I would describe myself as suffering from post traumatic stress:
I am faced with the task of exposing abuses within a religious cult, which I witnessed as far back as 1989. Some of the things I saw, seem so bizarre, that I find them hard to believe. The fact that I was programmed into obedience under hypnosis, & instructed to ignore & forget anything I might see in relation to abuses perpetrated by established cult members, would be impossible to prove, but it is a fact.
This occured some weeks after I had reported an instance of child molestation by a teacher in the cult schooling system. I was offered “hypnotherapy” during a private meeting with an established cult member, who knew that I was the witness. It was also known that I had openly discussed the molestation, & the fact that the cult member who was now offering hypnotherapy, had been largely responsible for allowing the molester to escape. Also I had a bad reputation for shocking people with anecdotes of my past. It was considered bad public relations for me, as a person associated with the cult, to talk about the sick experiences of my past.
I was offered hypnotherapy as a way to help me forget about my past traumatic experiences. But the motivation was really to stop me from taking about the failings & abuses of established cult members.
It was about 14 years until I regained permanent recollection of the molestation. Until recently, perhaps even to this day, it could be possible, at intervals, for me to completely forget all the traumatic experiences of my life, as if they had never happened.
Some time ago, while talking about my life to a new aquaintance, I told them that I had never witnessed any serious wrong doing whilst operating as a member of the cult. Which is probably just what I was told, under hypnosis, to say to anyone who asked questions about institutional corruption.
I had to apologise to my aquaintance the next day, & then explain the real events, having remembered the previously forgotten traumas, including the first instance of wrong doing which I had witnessed & reported. That is the child molestation after which, being reported by me, the perpetrator to fled from the cult building, & was never seen by me again, until his face appeared in the newspapers, as a convicted child killer.
As well as the hypnosis, I was psychologically bullied over the years, & programmed into forgetting all about such things as soon as they had happened. However, at this time, there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind, that I have witnessed cocaine abuse, child molestation, rape & murder amongst the leaders of the cult. Unfortunately I was too shocked & brainwashed to take necessary action at the time.
What follows is a description of one of the shocking experiences I have previously failed to expose.
HOWARD RESNIC.
This is a recollection of my memories of Hrdayananda Swami/Howard resnic. I have other memories to relate concerning Tamal Krishna Goswami & Jayapataka Swami, but I’m taking my time to write them all down.
I saw Howard Resnic (Hridayaynanda dasa “Goswami”) snorting cocaine & having sex on the roof of the long building at Mayapura Chandrodaya Mandir in 1991, just before the Gaura Purnima Festival.
The day I saw Resnic having sex, I was warned by my roomates not to go up to the roof because there was some spaced out karmi up there. I was accustomed to chanting my rounds on the roof & didn’t want to let that stop me. When I got up there there were little poly bags littering the place & short straws. I didn’t understand at the time but it looked like the remains of a cocaine party.
At the far eastern end of the rooftop a short fat man was lying on a sun lounger, facing east, having his feet massaged by a woman dressed in a sari.
If you have ever been up on the roof of the “long building” guest house at Sri Mayapura Dhama Chandrodaya Mandir, you will know that there are two staircases that lead to the roof. In 1991 a one legged sannyasi had his living quarters towards the western stairway & an old man who was simply known as Dadu had his quarters in the vicinity of the stairs situated towards the eastern end of the building..
There was a considerable distance of space between the stairways and the ends of the building, which was mostly occupied by wires stretched between steel poles to act as washing lines.
The previous night the residents of the guest house had their sleep disturbed because there had been a lot of noise coming from the roof, mostly loud talking & laughter, also erratic beating of the mrdanga without chanting. At one stage there was some kirtan, but it didn’t last long, it was interupted by laughter. To be frank it sounded like a bunch of “devotees” were getting drunk.
As I mentioned previously, when I arrived on the roof that morning, to chant my japa as usual, the first thing that I noticed were the little poly bags with snap fastenings, of the type that are sometimes used to distribute prasadam, that were littering the place. Also short, transparent, green straws, the same as those given out with drinks on aeroplanes, but cut down to approximately 3 inches in length. Some of the polybags had been ripped open & most of them had more or less of a residue of white powder in them.
I was surprised to find such a mess, as devotees are usually so tidy & especially careful about cleaning up the remnants of prasadam. At first I thought that the white powder must be some form of sugar based prasadam. But I was puzzled as to what the straws were for. It should have been obvious, but I had been conditioned to believe that to take note of wrongful behaviour on the part of my senior devotees was an offence that would lead to falldown.
As a total neophyte, I took everyone to be my senior, so I was loathe to think the worst in any situation. However, what else could it have been but drugs? Right in front of me as I reached the top of the stairs, on the raised ledge that contains the rooftop, there was a poly bag containing substantial residue of white powder & a short green straw lying next to it. There was also a patch of powder stuck to the rough concrete surface of the ledge.
The weather was very still & had been all night, the evidence of last night’s party had hardly been disturbed at all by the wind.
The next thing that I noticed was the man on the sunlounger at the farthest easterly end of the rooftop, having his feet massaged by an attractive white female who was wearing a sari.
I remember thinking that I wouldn’t mind a bit of that sort of treatment myself. I did feel distinctly jealous, so I tried not to look at them & got on with my chanting. I can’t remember how long I was chanting but it was long enough for the warmth of the morning sun to increase considerably, as the white residues in the bags & on the ledge slowly melted into clear liquid, in a way that no sugar based substance, that I know of, would do. Perhaps you don’t know that cocaine turns to clear liquid above a certain heat, I didn’t at the time, so I was puzzled as to what it was. The clue was with the straws, & with the loud laughter of the previous night, but I didn’t want to believe that devotees could fall down like that. I had already blocked out the memory of seeing Tamal sniff coke in Bombay. The mental pressure of forcing myself to ignore the horrible truth sparked a feeling of depression instantly. With a feeling of suppressed anger, I lost interest in what I was chanting & started to glance towards the easterly end of the rooftop.
The man on the sun lounger was talking to his female servant sporadically, then he reached to a small table on his left, & although I couldn’t see directly, he appeared to pick up a small poly bag & empty it onto the top of his chest, then he offered a straw to the woman who exclaimed, “What are you trying to do kill me?!” He muttered something & it looked as if she was letting him know of my presence some distance off, as she kept glancing at me nervously, I pretended as much as possible to be ignoring them, he didn’t bother to look around to see me. He continually urged her & eventually she nervously complied in taking the straw. It looked as if she sniffed something off his chest, then he took the straw & sniffed the remainder, which might sound like a physical impossibility, but actually it is fairly common practice for heavy cocaine users to lie there sniffing cocaine off their own chest.
He then gave her a command which I do not want to repeat in full, but just so as there isn’t any doubt, he said “F— me!” & it was in the sense of a command, & not merely an exclamation.
She looked shocked & reminded him that they were not alone. He must have been very heavily intoxicated because he didn’t even care to look around. He continually urged her & eventually, without undressing she climbed on top of him & crouched down.
Seconds later she was running across the rooftop weeping, she ran passed me leaving a trail of stinking fluid.
As she ran past me to the entrance of the stairway she cowered away from me in fear for some reason, although I made no movements. There was a sizeable blot of bodily fluid left behind her, just a little to the right, about three feet from where I was standing, opposite the entrance to the stairway. The unmistakable smell of semen was repulsively strong & fresh.
More or less in shock, I just stood there in disgust, still chanting my rounds & really not knowing what to make of all this. I was so stunned that I didn’t notice Resnic approaching me a couple of minutes later. As I heard his footsteps approach I turned with what must have been an obvious look of hatred on my face so much so that he started backwards in fear. The smell of semen on him was overwhelming. He was naked apart from a tiny black bathing thong & a pair of round framed, dark tinted spectacles.
I stared hard at him as he made to pass me by, to the stairway, like you would if you were trying to memorise the appearance of a criminal, which is just what I was doing. He kept his distance, moving with even greater fear of me than the woman had, but he stopped & turned around in front of the doors to the stairway & began to nervously splutter “Who, who , who’s disciple are you?!” He was pointing his index finger at me from his right hand, brought up to his shoulder & prodding the air in my direction. I didn’t know what to say, I wasn’t initiated, so I said nothing, but I took the opportunity of looking hard at him through the tinted lenses of his glasses to the hard, “dead” eyes within the deep etched lines around their sockets. He carried on spluttering at me things that I didn’t understand, something about him being Vishnu Tattva, so I’d better “watch it” because Prabhupada had told him that. He told me to watch it a couple more times then took his stinking little body down the stairs. I had no idea who he was or what he was talking about. He had all the bearing of a criminal & that is how I viewed him, a seriously insane criminal.
I stayed where I was & carried on chanting. After a short while an Indian brahmacari arrived & swept up the poly bags & straws & started mopping the semen stains. He stared at me with a furrowed brow as he worked. A little later Another Indian brahmacari came & told me to clear off. I complied.
Later that day I was informed by my roomates that some crazy woman had been found doing a hand stand in the public shower room of the guest house, because she’d had illicit sex & was trying to wash the semen out of her body. She was hysterical & obviously on drugs. The worst of it was that they said that she was in such a state that the medical centre had procured tranquilisers & “morning after” contraceptive pills for her to use. They also mentioned that it was rumoured to be a well known sannyasi who had sex with her, but I couldn’t believe that it could have been the same people that I had witnessed on the roof. I couldn’t believe that the thuggish little cocaine addict that I had seen on the roof could possibly be a sannyasi.
I can’t remember if it was the same day in the afternoon, or the following morning that Resnic was reeling around beside the gardens in front of the long building in a large straw cowboy hat & bathing thong. I think it was the following morning or it might even have been a day or two later.
Anyway I had no idea who he was until some other “sanyasis” who were standing at the front of the temple building started shouting “Hridayananda! Get dressed!”. He shouted back “Who’s Hridayananda? That’s Krishna! I’m Resnic the philosophy guy!” (refering to his mundane philosophy book “Intellectual Animalism”). He took off his hat to reveal a large bag of white powder which he began to toss in the air & catch again then he shouted at the sanyasis “Hey! Tell Jayapataka I’ve got his breakfast here!” refering to what must have been a large bag of drugs. He was staggering & reeling looking at the sky. He dropped the bag & something spilled out “Oh shit” he murmured then the sanyasis walked over to take charge of him.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
Do you seriously believe that the current day GBC, “have “lovingly” served Srila Prabhupada, Srila Prabhupada’s desires and instructions, and Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON society and its devotees; and who have given protection to the above five entities listed who, as devotees, have served Srila Prabhupada and Krsna within ISKCON”, as you state in the below communication.
Since Prabhupada’s books are still being printed & sold containing untold amounts of unauthorised changes, this statement sounds rather like sarcasm. As regard protecting brahmanas, women, children, cows & old men, in 1991, I personally witnessed the sexual abuse of a woman by Hridayanada Swami, right after I saw him sniff cocaine on the rooftop of the long building (guest house) at Sri Mayapura chandrodyaya Mandir. He was occupying the bunk of an old man who lived on top of the long building at the time. The old man, known simply as Dadhu went to ask Hridayananda Swami, when could he have his bunk back, & was given short shrift by the dazed “Swami”, who was lying on the old man’s bunk.
Later I saw Hridayananda Swami staggering around delirious in front of the long building wearing nothing a tiny black bathing thong, sunglasses & a huge straw cowboy hat. Some sannyasis who were standing outside the temple shouted at him to get dressed. He took off his hat, underneath which was a large bag of white substance, which he began to throw into the air & catch. He shouted at the sannyasis at the other side of the lawn; “Tell Jaypataka I’ve got his breakfast here!”
Prior to that I had seen TKG sniff cocaine in Prabhupada’s quarters at Bombay. In Mayapura I heard testimonials from Gurukula boys about sexual abuse & even alleged murder of one of their class mates by leading ISKCON members. I personally smelled semen on the breath of one of the Gurukula boys when he spoke to me incoherently after he we came down the stairs from Jayapataka Swami’s quarters at Mayapura, along with JPS & a crowd of others.
When Radha Madhava dasa, the temple commander at that time, saw that I had noticed the smell of the boys breath, he took immediate charge of the boy by grabbing his arm & keeping hold of him. Radha Madhava dasa, JPS & his servant Tribanga dasa, all in turn told me to keep my mouth shut. JPS was holding a little polythene bag with a clip top & was laughing whilst putting his finger in the bag & then rubbing his finger on his gums. Others with him had similar bags & were doing the same thing. Finally JPS was trying to scrape a white residue out of the corners of the bag. He produced a small scraping of white substance which he wiped onto the top of his big club shaped walking stick, which was held by Tribanga dasa, it began to melt exactly like snow, turning into a clear colourless liquid in the sun. Tribanga dasa immediately wiped it up on his finger tip & rubbed it on his gums.
I was standing very close to them, & was staring in amazement, I had never seen cocaine before, but I had seen people rub drugs on their gums. JPS shoved his finger into my mouth & rubbed my gums above my front teeth, there was a strange, slightly bitter taste on his finger, combined with a smell & taste of semen. There was a numbing sensation in my mouth, I immediately felt high & broke into a sprint, back to my room in the guest house, where I chanted rounds at desperate speed before falling into depression.
The present day GBC obviously know about these kind of abuses by the self imposed bogus gurus, but they still allow them to pose as spiritual masters. To say “all glories” to them even in sarcasm seems to be, beyond a joke.
I can remember a number of examples of devotees who were ill being badly treated for that reason I also witnessed ill treatment of cows.

Similarly, the CHILDREN of the state, the COW, the DISEASED person, the WOMAN and the OLD MAN specifically require the protection of the state or a ksatriya king. If such living beings do not get protection by the ksatriya, or the royal order, or by the state, it is certainly SHAMEFUL for the ksatriya or the state. If such things had actually happened to Arjuna, Maharaja Yudhisthira was anxious to know about these discrepancies.”

LW: As illustrated in the following memory of Vishnujana Swami by a devotee named Gokularanjana das, Prabhupada’s mercy is available to everyone, but it’s up to each individual to reach out and take that mercy:
“Vishnujana took Prabhupada’s mercy very seriously. There was a story where he said, ‘It’s because of your mercy, Srila Prabhupada,’ and Prabhupada said, ‘No, I’m distributing it equally, but you are taking advantage of it.’”
Mahesh: the fact is in ALL Srila Prabhupada’s letters to disciples he writes “please accept my blessings” but they do NOT understand that to ACCEPT the blessings is to IMBIBE the instructions Srila Prabhupada gives AND follow SERIOUSLY so that we can SEE Krsna and serve Him in our(SVARUPA) constitutional position:
SB 6.16.50 P King Citraketu Meets the Supreme Lord
The perfection of life is to be spiritually educated and to understand the existence of the Lord and how He creates, maintains and annihilates the cosmic manifestation. When one is perfect in knowledge, he can develop his love of Godhead through the association of such perfect persons as Narada and Angira and the members of their disciplic succession. THEN ONE IS ABLE TO SEE THE UNLIMITED SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD FACE TO FACE. Although the Lord is unlimited, by His causeless mercy He becomes visible to the devotee, who is then able to see Him. In our present position of CONDITIONED LIFE WE CANNOT SEE or understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead.
atah sri-krsna-namadi
na bhaved grahyam indriyaih
sevonmukhe hi jihvadau
svayam eva sphuraty adah
“No one can understand the transcendental nature of the name, form, quality and pastimes of Sri Krsna through his materially contaminated senses. ONLY WHEN ONE BECOMES SPIRITUALLY SATURATED BY TRANSCENDENTAL SERVICE TO THE LORD ARE THE TRANSCENDENTAL NAME, FORM, QUALITY AND PASTIMES OF THE LORD REVEALED TO HIM.” (Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu 1.2.234) IF ONE TAKES TO SPIRITUAL LIFE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF NARADA MUNI OR HIS REPRESENTATIVE AND THUS ENGAGES HIMSELF IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD, HE QUALIFIES HIMSELF TO SEE THE LORD FACE TO FACE. The Brahma-samhita (5.38) states:
premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam
govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami
“I worship the primeval Lord, Govinda, who is ALWAYS SEEN BY THE DEVOTEE whose eyes are anointed with the pulp of love. He is SEEN in His eternal form of Syamasundara situated WITHIN THE HEART OF THE DEVOTEE.” ONE MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SPIRITUAL MASTER. THUS ONE BECOMES QUALIFIED AND LATER SEES THE SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD, AS EVINCED BY MAHARAJA CITRAKETU.
Excellent point, Mahesh Raja Prabhu.
When Srila Prabhupada wrote, “Please accept my blessings,” it was equivalent to his statement that Krsna says “Take my mercy, take, take.”
In fact, Srila Prabhupada often wrote, “please read my books carefully,” “chant Hare Krsna,” take to this process,” etc., practicallty begging us all to take the mercy.
He regularly wrote, “I beg to acknowledge your letter…” (of such-and-such date).
Often he would plead with his leaders and devotees to co-operate together to spread Krsna consciousness.
Plus he ended his lectures with “Thank you very much,” and his letters with “Hope this meets you in the best of health.”
Can anyone be so kind and humble? Srila Prabhupada is offering us all the highest gift from the most exalted position and yet he’s begging with us, pleading with us, thanking us, caring for us, nurturing us, and loving us – almost in the mood of a Bengali mother.
This is one of the reasons why we always write, “All glories to Srila Prabhupada” (with emphasis on the word “all”). Srila Prabhupada deserves our eternal gratitude and loyalty, bar none.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
