The Recent development outlined in the Iskcon Times article regarding the decision of  Akshaya Patra to decline USD $33,000 (for financial year 2015 – 2016) due to “ambiguities” relating to Monsanto’s website is I believe ‘a step in the right direction’ although in my personal opinion this doesn’t go far enough. It is no secret to those who are familiar with the ‘tactics’ of Monsanto that such aggressive multinational corporations thrive on ‘ambiguity’ and stealth to further their goal of environmental vandalism, human suffering, lies, deceit, misinformation. It is very difficult to ascertain whether in fact GMO foodstuffs are beying introduced into the supply chain of Akshaya Patra due to the ambiguous and secretive nature of Monsanto, coupled with a country such as India which has one of the highest cultures of corruption in the World.

 

One should be forgiven for thinking that due to Akshaya Patra’s contract with Monsanto that GMO food is beying supplied due to such an association and the ‘ambiguity’ of Monsanto’s ‘Modus Operandi’. The activities of Monsanto are creating a huge backlash around the World (and also in the USA) to the point where ANY organisation which prides itself upon credibility would be very foolish to have any association with them whatsoever. Many persons having the most ‘basic’ of intelligence and ‘sattvic’ persuasions wouldn’t touch Monsanto with a barge-pole, least of all ‘enter into an agreement with them!’ This would only result in the ‘alienation of many persons (particularly those who hold strong views about the sanctity of ‘best practice’ sustainable agriculture, cow protection, and protection of the environment), things that an Agri-Chemical corporation like Monsanto has a very POOR record of!

Due to the many discrepancies that have arisen in the operations of Akshaya Patra’s food suppliers it is very difficult to know who is beying ‘up-front’ about these operations as India seems to be a very ‘tricky’ place to uncover the true facts. It is not helpful for Akshaya Patra to be ‘launching another tirade’ against Doyalu Nitai Prabhu (Iskcon Times 5th December 2014) in light of the fact that it was partly due to him that this unsavoury relationship with Monsanto has come to the fore, and is now causing so much problem for Akshaya Patra. Other devotees such as Mahesh Raja Prabhu have already warned Madhu Pandit Prabhu of the dangers of associating with demonic corporate predators such as Monsanto in the past but his ‘good advise’ was not heeded.

 

The fact that Monsanto  (through their Demonic Agri-Chemical Agriculture activities) have caused the UNECESSARY DEATHS OF OVER 200’000 FARMERS IN INDIA should be sounding alarm bells, but this is something that seems to evades the sensibilities of Aksaya Patra. The ever increasing backlash to GMO Agri-Chemical Corporations such as Monsanto creates a lot of mistrust in ANY organisation that is INVOLVED with Monsanto as they have a proven track record of lies, misinformation and deceit. Akshaya Patra also state that HKC should not object to their association with Monsanto because they themselves (HKC) accept donations from companies that are “dealing in leather products”. This argument is a very weak one for the simple fact that by Akshaya Patra are in effect creating a ‘partnership’ with Monsanto over a 5 year period for USD$215,000 (USD$50,000 plus USD$33,000 annually for 5 years). THIS IS IN EFFECT A WHITEWASH CAMPAIN TO LAUNDER THEIR BLOODSTAINED IMAGE (ON THE CHEAP) ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR HORRENDOUS TRACK RECORD.

This is a disgraceful and deceitful ‘public relations stunt’ and Akshaya Patra should have NO PART to play in this BLOOD MONEY campaign. This amounts to LESS THAN $1.00 for every unfortunate farmer that has out of sheer desperation, and evil trickery (by Monsanto) have taken their own lives. WHAT CAN MONSANTO TEACH ANYBODY ABOUT FARMING SUSTAINABILITY? THIS IS THE MOST SHOCKING, DISGRACEFUL BULSHIT!  WHO ARE YOU TRYING TO KID WITH THIS NONSENSE? THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED IMMEDIATELY! THIS DECEITFUL CONDUCT WILL ONLY CREATE MORE “AMBIGUITY” AND WILL BACKFIRE VERY BADLY! CAUSING MORE DEATH AND MISERY. AKSHAYA PATRA SHOULD SEVER ALL CONNECTION WITH THESE DEMONS!!!!!!!

    Google “The most hated Corporation in the World” and out of 10 listings, 5 have the word MONSANTO (8th Dec 2014. May change over time, probably for the worse!). Some surveys put Monsanto at #1 (most hated) others at #3 and out of the “Dirty Dozen”, listing Monsanto is the 5th ‘most hated in the World’ with the words “Arrogant Bastard of a Company” next to the name Monsanto. So my question is “Who in their right mind would enter into a ‘partnership’ with scum like these people?, especially as “representatives” of Srila Prabhupada’s vision of ”Simple living and high thinking”, cow protection, and wholesome, sustainable rural agricultural practice. It is simply inconceivable to me!

    Being complicit in actively assisting Corporate Agrichemical Criminals like Monsanto, who can only offer lies, degradation, ruin, environmental vandalism, misery, death and destruction, in A DISHONEST PUBLIC RELATIONS AND FALSE PUBLICITY “sugar coat the turd” campaign is nothing short of criminal conspiracy. GMO is ‘BAD SCIENCE AT ITS WORST’ Srila Prabhupada wants to DEFEAT these material, demonic, mad scientists ‘DEFEAT THEM’ not polish up their ‘image’ with photos of innocent children with
    “warm and fuzzy” captions of ”Social Responsibility”, this is all lies, deceit and hypocrisy!.

    When even the ‘least intelligent person’ sees that you are in cahoots with “The most hated Corporation in the World” they will think “What is this? Are these people kidding?” and all your credibility is flushed down the toilet. The most genuine, sattvic and spiritually inclined persons would be shocked at this conflict of interest. Akshaya Patra ……..Who are you trying to fool with this conspiratorial nonsense? Only an Idiot would think that this could yield anything remotely positive!

    Monsanto are Agrichemical Corporate Criminals (and the most hated in the World) they should be hanged, thrown in jail for life or at the ‘very least’ COMPLETELY IGNORED.

        You may run the risk of being labeled a ‘crank’ by criticizing Monsanto! Ha! Ha! Ha!

        Of course we’re very aware of the fate of many unfortunate souls who believed that their ‘trust’ in Monsanto was going to ‘improve’ their lives (like the 200,000+ farmers who were ruined, their land forfeited and driven to suicide) but all that effort just resulted in death and destruction, this is why there always needs to be robust debate as demons thrive on stealth and ignorance.
