Note: Often you come across someone In ISKCON circles who does not agree with Srila Prabhupada’s strict Ritvik Order of July 9th 1977 trying to JUSTIFY their own set of low level standards. SUPERFICIALLY, sometimes they may EVEN CLAIM to be followers of Ritvik July 9th 1977 Order. They have USUALLY got friends, relatives within the ISKCON circles who are bogus gurus or people in BIG positions screwing HUGE amount of money OR——- they are ALSO in THAT group who are VERY MUCH INTERESTED in BIG POSITIONS,MONEY, POWER, CONTROL, MANIPULATION,FREE DEVOTEE SLAVES, BOGUS ANTI RITVIK GURUSHIP.
It is about PROTECTING their VESTED INTEREST. So——— THESE are some of the arguments that they sometimes put forward:
They say,
1) ANYBODY WHO CHANTS OR EVEN HEARS HARE KRISHNA IS BENEFITTED AND MAKES ADVANCEMENT IN SPIRITUAL LIFE, even meat-eaters, animal-killers, drug addicts, animals, etc WHAT TO SPEAK OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN MISLED TO FOLLOW BOGUS GURUS.
2) You are FAULT FINDING Prabhu (…means you have just hit them with their OWN SO LOW standards –that they now want to GAG YOU from speaking the TRUTH).
Note: “Anybody who chants Hare Krishna is benefitted”: Can ANYONE chant Hare Krishna? Rather then accept someone’s JUSTIFIED MENTAL SPECULATION who is seeking after some GAIN from the ISKCON system, let us hear FROM Srila Prabhupada:
Antya 3.59 T The Glories of Srila Haridasa Thakura
namera aksara-sabera ei ta’ svabhava
vyavahita haile na chade apana-prabhavaSYNONYMS
namera–of the holy name; aksara–letters; sabera–of all; ei–this; ta’–certainly; sva-bhava–the characteristic; vyavahita haile–even when improperly uttered; na–do not; chade–give up; apana-prabhava–their own spiritual influence.TRANSLATION
“The letters of the holy name have so much spiritual potency that they act even when uttered improperly.
PURPORT
SRILA BHAKTISIDDHANTA SARASVATI THAKURA STATES THAT THE WORD VYAVAHITA (“IMPROPERLY UTTERED”) IS NOT USED HERE TO REFER TO THE MUNDANE VIBRATION OF THE LETTERS OF THE ALPHABET. SUCH NEGLIGENT UTTERANCE FOR THE SENSE GRATIFICATION OF MATERIALISTIC PERSONS IS NOT A VIBRATION OF TRANSCENDENTAL SOUND. Utterance of the holy name while one engages in sense gratification is an impediment on the path toward achieving ecstatic love for Krsna. On the other hand, if one who is eager for devotional service utters the holy name even partially or improperly, the holy name, who is identical with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, exhibits its spiritual potency because of that person’s offenseless utterance. Thus one is relieved from all unwanted practices, and one gradually awakens his dormant love for Krsna.
SB 2.9.8 P Answers by Citing the Lord’ s Version
One has to receive the TRANSCENDENTAL sound from the RIGHT SOURCE, accept it as a reality and prosecute the direction without hesitation. The secret of success is to receive the sound from the right source of a BONA FIDE spiritual master. MUNDANE MANUFACTURED SOUND HAS NO POTENCY, AND AS SUCH, SEEMINGLY TRANSCENDENTAL SOUND RECEIVED FROM AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON ALSO HAS NO POTENCY. One should be qualified enough to discern such transcendental potency, and either by discriminating or by fortunate chance if one is able to receive the transcendental sound from the bona fide spiritual master, his path of liberation is guaranteed. The disciple, however, must be ready to execute the order of the bona fide spiritual master as Lord Brahma executed the instruction of his spiritual master, the Lord Himself. Following the order of the bona fide spiritual master is the only duty of the disciple, and this completely faithful execution of the order of the bona fide spiritual master is the secret of success.
Note: Exactly HOW are the followers of ANTI RITVIK BOGUS GURUS making PROGRESS if they are going to HELL?
SB 6.7.14 Indra Offends His Spiritual Master, Brhaspati.
A stone boat would be unable to float and would sink in the water with its passengers. SIMILARLY, THOSE WHO MISLEAD PEOPLE GO TO HELL, AND THEIR FOLLOWERS GO WITH THEM.
Note: countering “You are fault finding Prabhu” argument:
ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS UNPALATABLE, ONE SHOULD NOT REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING IT.
Bg 10.4-5 P The Opulence of the Absolute
Satyam, truthfulness, means that facts should be presented as they are for the benefit of others. FACTS SHOULD NOT BE MISREPRESENTED. According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. THE TRUTH SHOULD BE SPOKEN IN A STRAIGHT AND FORWARD WAY, SO THAT OTHERS WILL UNDERSTAND ACTUALLY WHAT THE FACTS ARE. IF A MAN IS A THIEF AND IF PEOPLE ARE WARNED THAT HE IS A THIEF, THAT IS TRUTH. ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS UNPALATABLE, ONE SHOULD NOT REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING IT. TRUTHFULNESS DEMANDS THAT THE FACTS BE PRESENTED AS THEY ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS. THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF TRUTH.
SB 1.17.41 P Punishment and Reward of Kali
The brahmanas are the religious preceptors for all other castes, and the sannyasis are the spiritual masters for all the castes and orders of society. So also are the king and the public leaders who are responsible for the material welfare of all people. The progressive religionists and those who are responsible human beings or those who do not want to spoil their valuable human lives should refrain from all the principles of irreligiosity, especially illicit connection with women. IF A BRAHMANA IS NOT TRUTHFUL, ALL HIS CLAIMS AS A BRAHMANA AT ONCE BECOME NULL AND VOID. IF A SANNYASI IS ILLICITLY CONNECTED WITH WOMEN, ALL HIS CLAIMS AS A SANNYASI AT ONCE BECOME FALSE.
Note: TO JUSTIFY THEIR CONCOCTIONS they want PROTECT their falsehood: they will say Srila Prabhupada is Diksa guru BUT they ALSO want DUAL system—– OR——- they will try and resort to CUNNINGLY HIDE the words RITVIK SYSTEM from their vocabulary. So many excuses eg. “It is not the Ritvik System”It is Prabhupada Acarya System” …..then anything of their concocted CHEAP VERSION (sahajiya) goes. This means to DILUTE the RITVIK SYSTEM into accepting ANY bogus “gurus”. Making it bogus guru friendly. In other words, resorting to tone down Srila Prabhupada’s RITVIK SYSTEM. They have VESTED INTEREST in ISKCON like MONEY MAKING scheme, FREE slaves (devotees doing ass work for them):

Prabhupada: That is the way of falsehood. IF ONCE YOU SPEAK SOMETHING FALSE, THEN TO PROTECT THAT FALSEHOOD YOU HAVE TO TAKE TO SO MANY OTHER FALSEHOODS. THIS IS THE WAY OF FALSEHOOD.
Note: AND FALSE ARGUMENTS CAN BE CONQUERED BY FACTUAL ASCERTAINMENT.
SB 1.9.27 P The Passing Away of Bhismadeva in the Presence of Lord Krsna
As far as salvation is concerned, one has to conquer the principles of lust, anger, unlawful desires, avarice and bewilderment. To get freedom from anger, one should learn how to forgive. To be free from unlawful desires one should not make plans. By spiritual culture one is able to conquer sleep. By tolerance only can one conquer desires and avarice. Disturbances from various diseases can be avoided by regulated diets. By self-control one can be free from false hopes, and money can be saved by avoiding undesirable association. By practice of yoga one can control hunger, and worldliness can be avoided by culturing the knowledge of impermanence. Dizziness can be conquered by rising up, AND FALSE ARGUMENTS CAN BE CONQUERED BY FACTUAL ASCERTAINMENT.

Tamala Krsna: Burnt off. (break) What is the way to draw the line between the following three things: blasphemy, fault-finding, and calling a spade a spade?
Prabhupada: A spade a spade… Just like I am saying that “What you are? You are small fig only.” That is reality. And what is the other?
Tamala Krsna: The other is fault-finding and…
Prabhupada: Fault-finding, that is another fault, that… vranam icchanti, maksika vranam icchanti, madhum icchanti(?) Just like the flies, they are finding out where is sore, and the bees, they are finding out where there is honey. So two animals, they have got two business: fault-finding and collecting the good things. These are two… Just like creature. They are two classes. Similarly, there are many rascals who are simply fault-finding.
Tamala Krsna: And blasphemy?
Prabhupada: Blasphemy means you have good qualities, but still, I am defaming you.

Note: Those so-called devotees who are EXPLOITING others for their OWN USE to fund their OWN LUXURY LIFESTYLE in the name of following Srila Prabhupada to screw money from others(eg collecting BIG donations), working or treating other devotees like asses are called PSYCHOPATHS in modern language. THEY HAVE -ZERO- FEELINGS OF GUILT IN THE SUFFERINGS THEY CAUSE TO OTHERS:

countable noun
A psychopath is someone who has serious mental problems and who may act in a violent way without feeling sorry for what they have done.

In our Krsna Conscious language they are called DEMONIAC (Asuras).
Bg 16.4 P The Divine And Demoniac Natures
In this verse, the royal road to hell is described. The DEMONIAC WANT TO MAKE A SHOW OF RELIGION AND ADVANCEMENT IN SPIRITUAL SCIENCE, ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE PRINCIPLES. THEY ARE ALWAYS ARROGANT or proud in possessing some type of education or so much wealth. THEY DESIRE TO BE WORSHIPED BY OTHERS, AND DEMAND RESPECTABILITY, ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT COMMAND RESPECT. Over trifles they become very angry and speak harshly, not gently. They do not know what should be done and what should not be done. THEY DO EVERYTHING WHIMSICALLY, ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN DESIRE, AND THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE ANY AUTHORITY.
Note: if one reads Srila Prabhupada’s instructions then he can understand to distinguish between those that are ACTUAL devotees who FOLLOW Srila Prabhupada——— and the demons who as Srila Prabhupada says, ” THEY DO EVERYTHING WHIMSICALLY, ACCORDING TO THEIR OWN DESIRE, AND THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE ANY AUTHORITY(Bg 16.4.):

Our only tie is love of Godhead. It should be our definite policy that nobody is ill-treated that he may go away. We recruit a person to join us after spending gallons of blood. So we shall be very much cautious and careful in this matter.

N.B. I have received one complaint from Indian devotee at Mayapur Prabharupa Das Brahmacari that he is mal treated by our American devotees. Kindly inquire into this matter and do the needful. 72-08-24. Letter: Madhudvisa, Amogha
So far the presidents are concerned, they should not be abruptly changed in future. If there is any complaint they should be first of all informed to me. ONE THING WE SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER IS THAT ALL OF OUR DEVOTEES PICKED UP HERE ARE ACCUSTOMED TO ALL OF THESE BAD HABITS IN THEIR PAST LIFE, SO IF SOMETIMES THEY REVEAL THEIR OLD CHARACTERISTICS, INSTEAD OF REJECTING THEM, IT IS UP TO US TO RECTIFY THEM AS FAR AS POSSIBLE. So try to reform Mohananandan there. What he will do by coming here? Amogha has indicated he has already shaved his sikha and has left everything. Do you think U.S.A. is a magic place, simply by coming here he will become reformed? If possible you can send to the U.S.A., but it is better to correct him to the standard point by friendly gestures. WE CAN REJECT ANYONE, THAT IS VERY EASY, BUT TO REFORM HIM THAT REQUIRES GREAT SKILL AND TACT AND IF YOU CAN REFORM HIM THERE BY KIND WORDS AND DEALINGS, THAT IS BEST. When I was there in Sydney, I observed that Mohananandan is very, very good boy and he has great intelligence and talent, simply it has become little bit misguided due to circumstances. Now you both big leaders in Australia, along with the others, you make a very concerted attempt to help Mohananandan over his difficulties and persuade him that everything is all right; that I am not angry or displeased in any way. These things will sometimes happen even with the best devotees, and in this way try and persuade him to become engaged with his previous enthusiasm for becoming once again a great devotee. He is young boy, so we should not take his actions too seriously, better to forget the past and try to reform him. His service can be once again very much valuable there in Australia, I know he is very good boy. Do not drive him away, that will be the discredit to all of you leaders. But if there is great difficulty, he may come and live with me here in Los Angeles for the time being, I have no objection. But he has done very nicely in Sydney up to the present time, so if you can utilize his experience and talents there, that is the best plan

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letter dated 13 Feb. 1973 and have noted its contents carefully. Regarding Sriman Hayagriva Dass; IT IS OUR DUTY TO RECTIFY HIM. TO CREATE A DEVOTEE TAKES MUCH LABOR AND TO REJECT HIM IN A MINUTE IS NOT TO OUR CREDIT SO PLEASE TRY TO DO THE NEEDFUL IN THIS REGARD. Consult the other GBC men there, then make a proposal to Hayagriva and if still he is incorrigible then you take the necessary steps

Regarding your question about incense, Karandhara has just informed me that our Spiritual Sky incense business is making now $1,000,000 a year to spend for Krishna. How can that be Maya? My Guru Maharaja used to say, “Anything material, if it is used for the service of Krishna, it is a mistake to give it up.” Because I have understood this principle, he used to appreciate me in front of my godbrothers. I have given this idea all along–why you big leaders do not understand it? You should take it to heart as a guiding principle that somehow or other we always please Krishna by doing what is practical and necessary, according to time and place. Not that we should be whimsical. But one test is that all the devotees should be satisfied. They have given their lives to Krishna, so we should see they are always happy. THEIR SERVICE IS VOLUNTARY. IT IS NOT THAT WE CAN FORCE ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING. IF WE DO THEY WILL GO AWAY AND THAT IS A GREAT LOSS. EVERYONE MUST BE ENCOURAGED TO DO WHAT HE LIKES TO DO FOR KRISHNA, SO IF SOMEONE LIKES TO DO BUSINESS FOR KRISHNA, LET THEM MAKE $1,000,000 FOR KRISHNA.
71-12-08. Letter: Vamanadeva, Indira
As for your questions about householder life, first of all, who is looking after Oklahoma City temple? If you are the President, then what is the use of opening center if you cannot attend all temple functions? Who is looking after temple management? If you are in charge, either you should live there or there is no need for such temple. Of course, it is not that anyone is excluded from being my disciple if they do not cent per cent attend all of temple programs, but they should be encouraged to attend as far as possible. Living outside and working are not prohibited, and it is not recommended that such strict rule as no outside living should be enforced, but living in the association of devotees is better. From our side there is never any objection if it is inconvenient for temple living, but if you are in charge of organizing your new center, I think you should live in the company of the other devotees there, to train them and work with them for distributing our books and magazines and pushing on this Krishna Consciousness Movement full-time. But if there is some difficulty to do this or some problem with getting money, then you should consult further with your GBC man to make adjustment. PREACHING IS OUR FIRST-CLASS ENGAGEMENT, INCLUDING SANKIRTANA PARTY, SELLING BOOKS, SPEAKING, LIKE THAT. BUT IF FOR SOME REASON A DEVOTEE IS UNABLE TO DO THESE THINGS, THEN I SAY THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LIVE OUTSIDE AND WORK AS A CONCESSION. OUR SERVICE FOR KRISHNA IS VOLUNTARY AND CAN NEVER BE FORCED. AND WHATEVER POSITION IN LIFE ONE HOLDS HE CAN SERVE KRISHNA IN THAT WAY. But yourselves being such qualified and experienced preachers, what is the benefit of engaging in the second-class activity when there is so much preaching work to be done? Practically speaking, our Krishna philosophy will save the whole world from the most dangerous condition, that is a fact. So now you just become convinced yourselves of this fact and help me spread this Movement for saving the world with all conviction and attention, and in this way you will be performing the highest type of activity and very soon you will go back to Home, back to Godhead, know it for certain. I have no objection if you keep home deities.

Please accept my blessings. I am in due receipt of your letters dated November 18, November 22, and December 3, 1972, and I have heard that you are having some difficulties, so I have sent Siddhasvarupa there to help you. Now try to keep a cool head under all circumstances and always remember that Krishna will protect you in any case, you haven’t to worry anything. I THINK THAT WITHOUT YOU THE NEW ZEALAND AFFAIR WILL NOT GO ON, BUT NOW YOU ARE LEAVING THERE TO LIVE ON SOME FARM IN AUSTRALIA. OF COURSE, OUR SERVING KRISHNA IS VOLUNTARY AFFAIR, SO WHAT CAN I SAY? IF YOU THINK THAT IS THE BEST CHOICE, I MUST AGREE, OTHERWISE YOU MIGHT GO AWAY ALTOGETHER. Anyway we shall discuss in detail if I come there in future.
72-12-22. Letter: Karandhara
So my point is that the regulative principles must be followed by everyone. Otherwise their enthusiasm dwindles and they again think of sex and become restless, and so many problems are there. There is some symptom of missing the point. The point is to be engaged in doing something for Krishna, never mind what is that job, but being so engaged in doing something very much satisfying to the devotee that he remains always enthusiastic. He will automatically follow the regulative principles because they are part of his occupational duty–by applying them practically as his occupational duty, he realises the happy result of regulative principles. SO THE FUTURE OF THIS KRISHNA CONSCIOUSNESS MOVEMENT IS VERY BRIGHT, SO LONG THE MANAGERS REMAIN VIGILANT THAT 16 ROUNDS ARE BEING CHANTED BY EVERYONE WITHOUT FAIL, THAT THEY ARE ALL RISING BEFORE FOUR MORNING, ATTENDING MANGAL ARATI–OUR LEADERS SHALL BE CAREFUL NOT TO KILL THE SPIRIT OF ENTHUSIASTIC SERVICE, WHICH IS INDIVIDUAL AND SPONTANEOUS AND VOLUNTARY. They should try always to generate some atmosphere of fresh challenge to the devotees, so that they will agree enthusiastically to rise and meet it. That is the art of management: to draw out spontaneous loving spirit of sacrificing some energy for Krishna. But where are so many expert managers? All of us should become expert managers and preachers. We should not be very much after comforts and become complacent or self-contented. There must be always some tapasya, strictly observing the regulative principles–Krishna Consciousness movement must be always a challenge, a great achievement to be gained by voluntary desire to do it, and that will keep it healthy. So you big managers now try to train up more and more some competent preachers and managers like yourselves. Forget this centralizing and bureaucracy.

I have received one letter from Sudama das Goswami that both of you had some hot conversation on the points of management, but I request both of you not to become agitated on any controversial point. A Vaisnava is supposed to be more tolerant than the tree and more forbearing than the grass. Besides that we have taken a great mission of the cult of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, so everything should be done very diligently and soberly so that our missionary activity may not be hampered. ALL OF OUR MEMBERS ARE GIVING VOLUNTARY SERVICE, SO THEY SHOULD ALWAYS BE ENCOURAGED IN THEIR SERVICE ATTITUDE.
Note: these hodge-podge nonsense talks from those who say so-called disciples under Anti Ritvik bogus rubber-stamped ISKCON gurus are making some progress is demolished here YET AGAIN :
Srila Prabhupada Lecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam 6.1.41-42 — Surat, December 23, 1970
Prabhupāda: Daṇḍavat class(?). Surrender means you must abide strictly the orders, sad-dharma-pṛcchā, ādau gurvāśrayam. To accept a guru means… Śiṣya means one must agree to be governed by the spiritual master. That is called śiṣya. Śiṣya… Śās-dhātu. From śās-dhātu all these terms—śāstra, śiṣya, śāsana. These are words derived from the root śās-dhātu. Śās-dhātu means śāsana, governing. The governing is done by military, governing is done by lawbooks, governing is done by personal instruction, so many things. So śiṣya means who voluntarily accepts to be guided or being governed by the representative of God. That is śiṣya. Yes.
Devotee (3): In regard to worshiping arcā-vigraha form, you have explained that if one receives a mantra from a spiritual master who is not bona fide, that mantra has no effect. So I would like to ask if one is worshiping a Deity and his spiritual master is not bona fide, so that Deity cannot be considered the Supreme Lord?
Prabhupāda: WELL, FIRST OF ALL, THING IS IF THE SPIRITUAL MASTER IS NOT BONA FIDE, HOW HIS MANTRA CAN BE BONA FIDE? YOUR STATEMENT IS CONTRADICTORY. IF YOU SAY THE SPIRITUAL MASTER IS NOT BONA FIDE, THEN HOW HIS MANTRA BECOMES BONA FIDE? IF HE IS BONA FIDE, THEN HIS MANTRA IS BONA FIDE.
Devotee (3): Then why is he giving instruction to worship the Deity? If the spiritual master is not bona fide, then is the Deity also not bona fide?
Prabhupāda: I do not follow. What does he say?
Devotee: His idea is that if one receives a mantra from a spiritual master, if the spiritual master is not bona fide…
Prabhupāda:THEN THERE IS NO QUESTION OF MANTRA. THERE IS NO QUESTION OF WORSHIPING DEITY. THESE ARE ALL BOGUS THINGS. If you are not… Just like here is a young medical man. If he has not received instruction from a bona fide medical college, so what is the value of his medical, being… That is… What is called? What is the technical name?
Devotee (4): Quack.
Prabhupāda: Quack! (laughter) (pronounces like “quark”)
Devotees: Quack.
Prabhupāda: A quack is not a medical man, however he may show all red bottles, white bottles. There is a Bengali proverb, naj jal yac curi tini ei daktar.(?) One stethoscope, naj(?), and some bottles, jala, and talking all nonsense, he becomes a doctor. That means the quack doctor, not a… Qualified doctor, he knows what is what. So naj jal yac curi tini ei daktar(?). In Bengali they say. And mostly in villages they go on like that. But of course, they have got some experience. I know in Allahabad there was a doctor, Kabhir, a Dr. Kabhir. And because in my previous household life I was a chemist and druggist, I was supplying medicine, so he was my customer. So he had that… This Dr. Kabhir was a compounder. Later on he practiced. So he had very, very big prac… He was my biggest customer. He was purchasing medicine like anything. But he had experience. He learned from an experienced doctor. He cannot be called a bogus, because whatever he learned, he was… But generally, one who is not a bona fide doctor, he is called a quack. So anything, experience required, not that you have to go to the medical college. If you are trained under a bona fide doctor, then also you can get the quality of a doctor. Similarly, the whole thing is tad-vijñānārthaṁ sa gurum evābhigacchet (MU 1.2.12). One should go to the bona fide spiritual master to learn this transcendental science.

Note: PROVIDED it is chanted OFFENSELESSLY
Prabhupāda: Now, these things are very important things, “whose mind is engaged within, who is always busy working for the welfare of all sentient beings.” This chanting of Hare Kṛṣṇa, it is welfare work for all sentient beings, even the worms, the microbes, the cockroaches. So many living entities are within this room. By hearing this vibration of Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra they will be getting also the result.
That is described in Caitanya-caritāmṛta. When Lord Caitanya questioned Haridāsa Ṭhākura about the efficacy of chanting, how he described? You will find it in the Teachings of Lord Caitanya. It is a fact. If you are chanting within this room, and if you find nobody is coming to participate in the kīrtana, don’t be disappointed. There are many germs, worms, cockroaches within this room—they are being benefited. They are being benefited. You cannot find any place without any living entities. You just find out one hole, you will see hundreds of ants are coming out.
So living entities are in the air, in the water, in the holes—everywhere. And this vibration… Everyone, every living entity, has got this ear. So this sound is so powerful because it is spiritual that it will act even on the ants and the trees and the birds and the bees, what to speak of human being. It is so nice thing.
So those who are chanting… “One who is always busy working.” What is the busy-ness of these Kṛṣṇa conscious students? They are busy in chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, in distributing knowledge in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. Therefore they are doing the best welfare work in the world. Other welfare work will be finished as soon as this body is finished. But these welfare activities will not be finished. If one hears one day, one minute, one second this vibration of chanting, it will act someday. Therefore this is the best welfare activity in the human society.
“And who is free from all sins achieves liberation in the Supreme.” So it is said that,
eka kṛṣṇa-nāme yata pāpa hare,
pāpī haya tata pāpa karibare nare
[Prema-vivarta].
The Kṛṣṇa name is so powerful transcendentally, spiritually, that if you chant once “Kṛṣṇa,” all your sinful activities, reaction, are immediately finished. One may say that “He was not so sinful. He was little sinful; therefore it is finished.” But this verse says that the vibration of “Kṛṣṇa,” this sound, has so much potency that it can finish the reaction of all sinful activities as you cannot perform in your various lives. EVEN IF YOU ARE VERY EXPERT IN COMMITTING SINFUL ACTIVITIES, STILL, THIS WILL FINISH, PROVIDED IT IS CHANTED OFFENSELESSLY. IT HAS GOT THE POWER.
So if we always chant… Suppose I am now freed from all sinful reaction. I may be attacked again. That is quite possible. I may be free from the disease but I may be attacked again by this disease. That is possible. But if you always keep yourself constantly in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa—therefore we supply the beads and ask the student, “Chant Hare Kṛṣṇa”—then sinful activities cannot touch you. These are the processes. And if you keep yourself without being touched by the sinful activities, then one who does so achieves liberation in the Supreme. Then your liberation is guaranteed.
Yes.

In our Krsna consciousness movement, the requirement is that one must be prepared to give up the four pillars of sinful life-illicit sex, meat-eating, intoxication and gambling. In Western countries especially, we first observe whether a potential disciple is prepared to follow the regulative principles. Then he is given the name of a Vaisnava servant and initiated to chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, at least sixteen rounds daily. In this way the disciple renders devotional service under the guidance of the spiritual master or his representative for at least six months to a year. He is then recommended for a second initiation, during which a sacred thread is offered and the disciple is accepted as a bona fide brahmana.”
Note: we know that without becoming a Maha-bhagavata it is an offense against the chanting of the holy name (3rd offense in chanting) to be worshipped as good as God (Acarya). Ritvik –the representative of the acarya allows for this function of worshipping the acarya (Prabhupada) without slaughtering the spiritual lives of others.

“When one has attained the topmost position of maha-bhagavata, he is to be accepted as a guru and worshiped exactly like Hari, the Personality of Godhead. Only such a person is eligible to occupy the post of a guru.”
Srila Prabhupada is revealing his position as the jagad-guru (Spiritual Master of the entire world). It is Srila Prabhupada that has distributed the Holy Name (thru his books) all over the world. Krishna is His pure devotee Prabhupada’s property to give.
Caitanya-caritamrta, Antya 7.12:
“…in the Dvapara-yuga one could satisfy Krsna or Visnu only by worshiping opulently according to the pancaratriki system, but in the age of Kali one can satisfy and worship the Supreme Personality of Godhead Hari simply by chanting His holy name.” Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura explains that unless one is directly empowered by the causeless mercy of Krsna, one cannot become the spiritual master of the entire world (jagad-guru). One cannot become an acarya simply by mental speculation. The true acarya presents Krsna to everyone by preaching the holy name of the Lord throughout the world. Thus the conditioned souls, purified by chanting the holy name, are liberated from the blazing fire of material existence. In this way, spiritual benefit grows increasingly full, like the waxing moon in the sky. The true acarya, the spiritual master of the entire world, must be considered an incarnation of Krsna’s mercy. Indeed, he is personally embracing Krsna. He is therefore the spiritual master of all the varnas (brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra) and all the asramas (brahmacarya, grhastha, vanaprastha and sannyasa). Since he is understood to be the most advanced devotee, he is called paramahamsa-thakura. Thakura is a title of honor offered to the paramahamsa. Therefore one who acts as an acarya, directly presenting Lord Krsna by spreading His name and fame, is also to be called paramahamsa-thakura.”
Ritvik is a REPRESENTATIVE of the acarya, SO IF the word REPRESENTATIVE is mentioned in CC 24.330 without mention of the word “Ritvik”, what’s the problem in understanding? Study Srimad Bhagavatam – there are many places which priest has to officiate, Ritvik is mentioned. Vedic society in the past has Ritviks – so why not now?
Radha is not mentioned directly, but from word derivation.
In this case REPRESENTATIVE was used instead if the word Ritvik. “Representative of the acarya” is also mentioned similarly in (CC Madhya 24.330) — this is the secret. Ritvik is the same. Representative of acarya mean RITVIK Representative who OFFICIATES on BEHALF of the acarya for the specific purpose. What’s the purpose? for the purpose of performing initiations, both first initiation and second initiation. The newly initiated devotees are disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the above eleven senior devotees acting as His representative.
Caitanya-caritamrta, Madhya 8.100:
“The name Radha is derived from this verse (Bhag. 10.30.28), from the words anayaradhitah, meaning “by Her the Lord is worshiped.” Sometimes the critics of Srimad-Bhagavatam find it difficult to find Radharani’s holy name, but the secret is disclosed here in the word aradhitah, from which the name radha has come. Of course, the name of Radharani is directly mentioned in other Puranas. This gopi’s worship of Krsna is topmost, and therefore Her name is Radha, or the topmost worshiper.”
Srila Prabhupada’s 07-09-77, Letter to All G.B.C., All Temple Presidents:
“Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. Recently when all of the GBC members were with His Divine Grace in Vrndavana, Srila Prabhupada indicated that soon He would appoint some of His senior disciples to act as “ritvik–representative of the acarya, for the purpose of performing initiations, both first initiation and second initiation. His Divine Grace has so far given a list of eleven disciples who will act in that capacity:
His Holiness Kirtanananda Swami
His Holiness Satsvarupa dasa Gosvami
His Holiness Jayapataka Swami
His Holiness Tamala Krsna Gosvami
His Holiness Hrdayananda Gosvami
His Holiness Bhavananda Gosvami
His Holiness Hamsaduta Swami
His Holiness Ramesvara Swami
His Holiness Harikesa Swami
His Grace Bhagavan dasa Adhikari
His Grace Jayatirtha dasa Adhikari
In the past Temple Presidents have written to Srila Prabhupada recommending a particular devotee’s initiation. Now that Srila Prabhupada has named these representatives, Temple Presidents may henceforward send recommendation for first and second initiation to whichever of these eleven representatives are nearest their temple. After considering the recommendation, these representatives may accept the devotee as an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupad by giving a spiritual name, or in the case of second initiation, by chanting on the Gayatri thread, just as Srila Prabhupada has done. The newly initiated devotees are disciples of his divine grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta swami Prabhupad, the above eleven senior devotees acting as His representative. After the Temple President receives a letter from these representatives giving the spiritual name or the thread, he can perform the fire yajna in the temple as was being done before. The name of a newly initiated disciple should be sent by the representative who has accepted him or her to Srila Prabhupada, to be included in His Divine Grace’s “Initiated Disciples” book.
(Srila Prabhupada’s signature appears in the original)
This July 9th 1977 letter was never revoked by Srila Prabhupada. This being the case, all the newly initiated devotees are disciples of his Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada for as long as ISKCON exists.
A History below was compiled by another devotee which shows Srila Prabhupada’s intentions.
History:
July 9th, 1977 – “Now that Srila Prabhupada has named these representatives, Temple Presidents may henceforward send recommendation for first and second initiation to whichever of these eleven representatives are nearest their temple. After considering the recommendation, these representatives may accept the devotee as an initiated disciple of Srila Prabhupada by giving a spiritual name, or in the case of second initiation, by chanting on the Gayatri thread, just as Srila Prabhupada has done. The newly initiated devotees are disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, the above eleven senior devotees acting as His representative.”
(Srila Prabhupada’s final signed Directive describing the initiation system to be followed in ISKCON, sent to all GBC’s and Temple Presidents)
July 11th, 1977 – “A letter has been sent to all the Temple Presidents and GBC which you should be receiving soon describing the process for initiation to be followed in the future. Srila Prabhupada has appointed thus far eleven representatives who will initiate new devotees on His behalf.”
(Letter from Tamala Krishna Goswami to Kirtananda describing the above system) July 19th, 1977 – “Make your own field and continue to be Ritvik and act on my charge.” (Room Conversation, above dictated by Srila Prabhupada to his secretary Tamala Krishna Goswami)
July 31st, 1977 – “Make your own field and continue to become ritvik and act on my behalf.”
(Above dictation sent out to Hamsaduta Swami by Tamala Krishna Goswami in a letter) Nov 1977 – “The system of management will continue as it is now and there is no need of any change.”
(Srila Prabhupada’s Last Will and Testament, which now comes into force for the lifetime of ISKCON)
Nov 1977 – “In the event of death or failure to act for any reason of any of the said directors, a successor director or directors may be appointed by the remaining directors, provided the new director is my initiated disciple …”
(Srila Prabhupada’s Last Will and Testament, which now comes into force for the lifetime of ISKCON. The above system of selecting directors can only work if Srila Prabhupada’s initiated disciples exist throughout ISKCON’s lifetime.)
