Killing For Krishna –
Letter from a devotee who wishes to remain anonymous:
“Hare Krishna Prabhu. Respects. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I read your whole book. Amazing how Krishna is using you to expose the truth, very inspiring. No doubt you are part of a huge and important block of service that Krishna is using you to do.
I want to help in regard to the distribution of your important book. I will copy you in an email to a devotee in India that I am sure would like to help distribute the book there. I also want to send copies to important people in the USA. I am only a humble Uber driver at present, so I cannot do a lot, but I’d like to donate $200 to get the book to important people. I would also like to get maybe 5 copies more to give to friends as gifts. Let me know if we can work together on this.
As your book will undoubtedly rattle some very powerful people in ISKCON, please try your best to have your life – family and the project in order, so in case these rascal people try to hurt you, all may continue okay. If they have done it before, they could at least try it again. See if you have the up to standard PC security, so they may not be able to hack your PC and get information of your contacts and progress.
Surveillance cameras for house and vehicle are good and not too expensive also. You openly state in the book about future books that will expose even more information that would affect more ALL of ISKCON. This is the basis of my concern. Maybe a second secret place where you would do most of your work, is a good idea.”
Thanks you very much. Srila Prabhupada ki jai!

COMMENT: It is amazing that after SO MUCH PUBLIC evidence surfaces of the murders, the Federal Marshalls raiding New Vrndavana, the $400,000,000 child molesting lawsuit etc. ad infinitum … then the GBC hand selects the leaders from that regime like Radhanath, Devamrita, Umapati, Kuladri and others from New Vrndavana to be their “newly reformed leaders.” And then the GBC’s leaders went ahead and buried Kirtanananda (a know homosexual child molester) in a Samadhi in Vrndavana.
Sulocana das (Steven Bryant)
STEVEN LESLIE BRYANT (July 4, 1952-May 22, 1986) was the son of a United States Air Force officer and a German-born high school teacher (Jack W. and Helga L. Bryant). Although Steven was born in Laramie, a small town in southeastern Wyoming, he grew up in Royal Oak, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit about fifteen miles northwest from downtown. His hair was blond, his eyes were blue, he stood six feet tall and weighed about 170 lbs.
A newspaper reporter explained, “He [Steven Bryant] grew up in Royal Oak and graduated from Kimball High School. During his junior year of high school he attended a private military school in the South because there were ‘too many distractions in the way of cars here,’ said his mother, a retired high school teacher. He returned to Kimball for his senior year. Soon after leaving for college, Stephen became ‘infatuated’ with the Krishnas and quit school to join the community in Detroit, Jack Bryant said.” Sulochan’s father remembered, “He tried to convert us, but we would have none of that.”
At Detroit ISKCON, Steve met another novice: Bhakta Terry Ray Sheldon. The two often worked together, as Steve was a good carpenter and Terry a good mechanic. They became friends and shared a special camaraderie, as they both surrendered to Prabhupada around the same time. However after a few months, Terry left the city of Detroit for the rural ISKCON farm community in West Virginia; Steve remained at Detroit ISKCON.
During July 1974, Steve accepted initiation from his spiritual master, the founder/acharya of ISKCON: His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. At his initiation ceremony, Steve prophetically received the Sanskrit name: “Sulochan dasa” (in English: “Servant of Sulochan, the son of Dhritarashtra”). In the Mahabharata, Sulochan is mentioned as one of the one hundred sons of King Dhritarashtra and Queen Gandhari. The historical Sulochan battled against Krishna, Arjuna and the Pandavas, and was killed by Bhima during the battle of Kuruksetra some 5,000 years ago.
Three months after Steven became Sulochan, Bhakta Terry became Tapahpunja at an October 1974 fire sacrifice at New Vrindaban. In Sanskrit, tapah refers to “austerities and penances,” and punja means “heaps” or “volumes of pious activities.” The name “Tapahpunja,” therefore, means “One who serves the Lord, Who performs heaps, or volumes of austerities and pious activities.”
Who at the time would have imagined that a decade later the two devotees would become mortal enemies, just like the historical Sulochan and Bhima (Arjuna’s powerful warrior brother). Tapahpunja was a key member of the conspiracy to assassinate Sulochan, and boasted, “I engineered it [the murder]. It was completely Vedic. He [Sulochan] had offended Bhaktipada.” Sulochan was “dispatched to his next body,” and Tapahpunja Swami later served five years in prison for his involvement in the murder conspiracy.

Tirtha das – Thomas Drescher
Book Review: Killing for Krishna (from Australia)
Received this letter from a fellow in New Zealand who read my book.
Hello Henry,
I wrote to years ago when I had just graduated from university and was very puffed up thinking I was some kind of scholar! You sent me your manuscript about New Vrindaban that you were working on at the time and I read it and commented and sent it back to you.
Anyway, many years later I came across your new book Killing for Krishna on Amazon and immediately purchased it for my Kindle. Having recently finished it, I just want to thank you immensely for your hard work in writing and publishing this fantastic book. The style of writing and the balanced approach to the subject is so good and perfect for what you are trying to achieve. It makes me sad that so many of those involved are still high up in ISKCON and unable to admit to their roles in the Sulochan murder (Radhanath in particular) and the other unsavoury activities of New Vrindaban. To think that so much of the place was built with drug money and illegal merchandising is completely mind blowing.
I would love to pass the book on to the devotees of Wellington who are totally under the spell of one Devamrita Swami but I know there would be no point as they would refuse to either read it or discount all the information contained therein, as you are obviously a huge “demon.” (Hahahaha.)
All these so-called “renounced” men, flying around the world in business class, with I-pads, apartments around the world, Apple watches, credit cards, property investments and who knows what else are an absolute joke and a complete mockery of what a Sannyasa / Sadhu is meant to be. I can only hope that many read your book before they get sucked into that world.
So once again, thank you so much for writing the book, I really enjoyed it and look forward to the full New Vrindaban history!
Yours sincerely,
RNM, Wellington, New Zealand
Hare Krsna dear prabhus,
Obeisances… all glories to Srila Prabhupada.
You may or may not have read Sulocana prabhu’s incredible realizations of ISKCON GBC/’guroo’ deviations in his book “The Guru Business”, back in the early to mid ‘80s. It is now coming up to 32 years since he was heinously murdered by the criminal cartel headed by Keith Ham (Kirtanananda), Richie Slavin (Radhanath) & Robert Grant (Ramesvara) and at least a dozen cohorts, 2 days after this manuscript was written.
They were aware of the upcoming exposé, and the plan to assassinate Sulocana prabhu is fully described in Hrsikesa prabhu’s book ‘Killing For Krishna’ including full court transcripts & documentations, published earlier this year.

You might ask why these unpalatable events are still of interest or worthy of another inspection, however serious disciples of Srila Prabhupada don’t have to look far, to see that 32 years after this abominable crime (which may have escaped us, being ‘absorbed’ in our devotional service back then), IMHO, nothing has changed and the offenses to His Divine Grace have even more compounded.
Your fallen servant,
Balaram das.

Excerpt from Sulocana’s Concluding Points:
“As a final point, we are not claiming to be saints. We have all kinds of problems dealing with the material energy that seem insurmountable. We are not pretending to be always absorbed in the love of the gopis like the Sridhara Maharaja club. Nor are we pretending to be scholars or brahmins like the smarta club of Subhananda, Ravindra Svarupa, and those who talk a lot but still get their bread and butter by handouts from demons. Nor are we members of “the end justifies the means” ISKCON “gurubhava” club that sits on thrones between semen breaks, drug deals, nervous breakdowns, wife stealings, child molestations, etc., etc. It is not necessary to join any of these clubs to understand Srila Prabhupada’s books. He wrote his books for people just like us: simple but honest. In fact, it is only honest people who can understand Prabhupada’s books. That’s because honesty is the only leg left in this age and we are proud to be tightly hanging on that one leg. So for those of you who don’t like this simple, direct, often crude, often angry, but at least honest way of speech, then why don’t you come forward and do something better to remove these demons who have ravaged Prabhupada’s movement? Dheera says guru is one, and Keith Ham-asura says we are trying to crucify Prabhupada. Both these statements are in essence the exact same thing: trying to place yourselves equal to Prabhupada, and that is an offense no real disciple of Prabhupada will tolerate, for long.
Your servant in the exclusive service of Srila Prabhupada:
Sulocana dasa”
