O DEAREST CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP

O dearest captain of the ship
to cross over this most dangerous ocean of Kali
deluding all the fallen souls to wasting time in folly
dearest Shrila Prabhupada at thy feet I’m now falling.

For you have revealed the fallen soul’s supreme friends
come to take all the fallen souls back to home again
by training them through your books how to transcend
repeated births and deaths putting all sorrows to an end.

In my mind I’m now lying helplessly before you
O Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Shrila Prabhupada
begging you to force me to surrender to Krishna Gopala
and brake right through Maya’s illusory wall.

To see the Supersoul and soul in every material body
to see the reality of God’s Supreme Personality
is eternally youthful with a transcendental form
unlimitedly beautiful all rests on our Lord.

O dearest guru of this whole universe
bless me to show all its you that must come first
for its you alone now right through thy holy scriptures
who has unchanged pure translations to guide all to Krishna.

With knowledge that must be shared with all
to brake down Maya’s illusory wall
so Krishna’s holy names all will always call
begging to always serve the Supreme Lord Shri Gopala.
