the way it looks
everyone must deeply study
Shrila Prabhupada’s books.
All looks so troubling
everything looks so dark
I think it is about time
all looked deep into their heart.
I never saw such evil times
I never heard of such horrible crimes
I think its time to seek the divine
I think its about time the truth we find.
O my dear godbrothers and godsisters
I think its time to surrender to Krishna
things down the road don’t look so bright
I think its time to seek eternal light.
I remember most amazing pleasures
when Shrila Prabhupada was present on earth
but ever since he left our limited sight
everything has gotten worse and worse.
It has gotten to when you speak the truth
exactly what Prabhupada said
so many just can not tolerate it
it seems they really want me dead.
And the weather has never been so bad
this even making the Demigods sad
to see Prabhupada’s disciples must risk their lives
to save Prabhupada’s movement and the earth’s plight.
Now I’m understanding Jesus Christ
how his life really was a sacrifice
for nobody wants to pay the full price
of turning to Prabhupada’s perfect advice.
And prefer to choose a charismatic pretender
and call God’s true servants severe offenders
but still the wise shall surrender to Govinda
and Krishna never forget and always remember.
And beyond every fear
yes and beyond every doubt
surrender unto Krishna
both within and with out.

cooperating for Prabhupada birth after birth.
Taking mother earth’s gifts self sufficiently
protecting the brahmans and the cows
cooperating together for Prabhupada
to help each other keep their vows.
Knowing life can be simple
with no hard struggling at all
offering everything to Krishna
answering Shrila Prabhupada’s call.
Just cooperate together for me
and thats how you’ll show your love
for every single living being
and Lord Krishna Supreme God above.
And please always chant Hare Krishna

we must let this whole world hear God’s names
to answer Gaura’s wishes all souls are reclaimed.

The following is taken from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam 7.9.18 – Māyāpur, February 25, 1976 ;
” So here Prahlāda Mahārāja said that… Prahlāda Mahārāja is also mahājana because he follows mahājana. He says, viriñca-gītāḥ: “I’ll enjoy. I shall relish tava līlā-kathaḥ, Your pastime, the narration of Your pastime.” But it is not that narration, as it is written by some mundane dramatic drama writer or novel writer. No, not that. That is useless. You should not touch. If some ordinary person has written something about Kṛṣṇa’s līlā, you should not touch even. It must be in the sampradāya, must be authorized person. Otherwise it is useless.
You should not touch even. Therefore he especially mentioned, līlā-kathās tava nṛsiṁha viriñca-gītāḥ: “which is given by mahājanas like Brahmā.” Just like we offer prayers from Brahma-saṁhitā. We cannot offer prayer from any other persons, written by any other nonsense. No, that is not possible. Viriñca-gītāḥ. There is power. If you recite the prayers composed by mahājana, it has got spiritual power. Just like in your country, Mr. Max Mueller, he’s very famous as translator of Vedas. But… Many scholars, they have read the translation of Max Mueller, but nobody could understand what is the purpose of Vedas because he’s not in the line. He’s useless. Similarly, that French professor, he has mentioned specially… In comparison to my writing—he has rejected even Aurobindo and Dr. Radhakrishnan. Yes, that is right. What Dr. Radhakrishnan, Aurobindo, knows about Kṛṣṇa consciousness? Because they are not in the line.
They simply tried to exhibit their erudite scholarship. So that is useless. Nāyam ātmā pravacanena labhyo na medhayā na bahunā śrutena. This is the injunction given in the Vedas. Ayam ātmā, self-realization, God realization… Nāyam ātmā bala-hīnena labhyaḥ: “One who has no spiritual strength, he cannot understand.” It is not possible. Nāyam ātmā bala hīnena… Na medhayā. If you have got very good fertile brain for manufacturing concocted ideas, that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to understand Kṛṣṇa. That is not possible. Nāyam ātmā pravacanena labhyo na medhayā na bahunā śrutena. Only one who is favored by Kṛṣṇa and His, I mean to say, confidential devotee… (aside:) What is this nonsense? One cannot understand. ”

Understandably this mood seems dark and fearful. By indulging daily in the Gita we can easily imagine how much more terrible the world would have been without Srila Prabhupada, Lord Caitanya and the previous acharyas. Srila Prabhupada single handedly saved the world from the dark abyss. Every time we understand that point means that we have moved a little further in our spiritual practice. Light is not overcome by darkness. Darkness is over come by light. Srila Prabhupada said that. The best counter then is to reach out with positive news from his books for the world to hear. That will give them and us great hope.
If we dwell too much on what we perceive as failure then those in need will not be served. As a result we will not help create the new leaders that Srila Prabhupada wants.Be that leader.
“Srila Prahupada is our leader, the holy name is our main weapon and the original Bhagavad Gita As It Is is our war plan.”
Eternal Service To You
I shall put aside now my long loitering heart
Then dress formally within that song of service
Intent to hear more legends and then to start
Taking my life to its original purpose
Faith, be the wind that carry’s my motion
Across the last stretch of my sea
Provided from my port with whatever devotion
I can muster to serve with thee
Troughs by swells breaking crests with deeds
Shall take time and my journey to the brink
Devotional service to Srila Prabhupda concedes
That my journey to a hoof print shall shrink
I shall carry my hopes in the Hold
Steady that my course is true
Making sure that my courage is bold

Chapter 2: Contents of the Gita Summarized

nehabhikrama-naso ‘sti
pratyavayo na vidyate
sv-alpam apy asya dharmasya
trayate mahato bhayat
SYNONYMS
na—there is not; iha—in this world; abhikrama—endeavoring; nasah—loss; asti—there is; pratyavayah—diminution; na—never; vidyate—there is; svalpam—little; api—although; asya—of this; dharmasya—of this occupation; trayate—releases; mahatah—of very great; bhayat—from danger.
TRANSLATION
In this endeavor there is no loss or diminution, and a little advancement on this path can protect one from the most dangerous type of fear.
PURPORT
Activity in Krsna consciousness, or acting for the benefit of Krsna without expectation of sense gratification, is the highest transcendental quality of work. Even a small beginning of such activity finds no impediment, nor can that small beginning be lost at any stage. Any work begun on the material plane has to be completed, otherwise the whole attempt becomes a failure. But any work begun in Krsna consciousness has a permanent effect, even though not finished. The performer of such work is therefore not at a loss even if his work in Krsna consciousness is incomplete. One percent done in Krsna consciousness bears permanent results, so that the next beginning is from the point of two percent; whereas, in material activity, without a hundred percent success, there is no profit. Ajamila performed his duty in some percentage of Krsna consciousness, but the result he enjoyed at the end was a hundred percent, by the grace of the Lord. There is a nice verse in this connection in Srimad-Bhagavatam:
tyaktva sva-dharmam caranambujam harer
bhajan na pakko ‘tha patet tato yadi
yatra kva vabhadram abhud amusya kim
ko vartha apto ‘bhajatam sva-dharmatah
“If someone gives up self-gratificatory pursuits and works in Krsna consciousness and then falls down on account of not completing his work, what loss is there on his part? And, what can one gain if one performs his material activities perfectly?” (Bhag. 1.5.17) Or, as the Christians say, “What profiteth a man if he gain the whole world yet suffers the loss of his eternal soul?”
Material activities and their results end with the body. But work in Krsna consciousness carries the person again to Krsna consciousness, even after the loss of the body. At least one is sure to have a chance in the next life of being born again as a human being, either in the family of a great cultured brahmana or in a rich aristocratic family that will give one a further chance for elevation. That is the unique quality of work done in Krsna consciousness.
