Invitation to participate in the Prabhupadanuga Festival 2023

Hare Krishna to all Prabhupadanuga devotees around the world. Please accept our humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Dear devotees, we hope you are all very well and happy in Krsna’s service.

On behalf of Srila Prabhupada and his pre and post 1977 disciples, we are happy to invite you all to Srila Prabhupada’s “PRABHUPADANUGA FESTIVAL 2023” in Germany-Europe from 15 August till 22 August 2023.

The planned location of the festival will be at the Temple of the International Hare Krishna Movement in Mainhausen, Germany, lead by Mathura Pati Das.

In case there are more than 30 devotees coming, then we will have to find a bigger place for this wonderful inspiring festival full of Krishna-consciousness, and rent a hall. In this case the date of the festival will be one week later.  (Update: No bigger place!). Please let us know if you like to participate. All participants will be informed accordingly by eMail.

The festival activities will be Srila Prabhupada’s morning program (Mangal arati start 4:30 am) and evening program (Gaura arati start 8 pm).

The rest of the time between the Mangal arati and Gaura arati will be divided into APPROX about 60% Kirtans / in the temple and Harinams in the streets of Germany, and 40% special topics  specifically concerning the Prabhupadanuga world such as the potency of Vani, Prabhupada originally book publishing, peace and unity between each other Prabhupadanuga devotee, Internet for preaching, Prabhupada and Krishna katha & lots more given by both physically present devotees and by devotees online from around the world.

The mood of this festival that we really want to promote is:

1.  We are all happily coming under one uniting fact, Srila Prabhupada is our ONLY Diksha and main Siksa-guru. We all promote this, support, encourage and facilitate the Vani connection between every new and old devotee to their eternal bonafide maha bhagavad Goloka Vrindavan Resident, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

ALL the members of the Society, they’re supposed to be MY disciples.
They follow the rules and regulations which I ask them to follow,
and they are INITIATED BY ME spiritually”

2. All other differences can please be put aside in that first Prabhupadanuga meeting, use this time to make friends, get to know each other personally, develop relationships with each other and Prabhupada more and more, encourage each other.

Prabhupada: “All of you have come simply
to discourage,  and I have come only to encourage.”

3. Absolutely no fault finding, no criticism, no group sectarianism, forget all your labels, hear Prabhupada and Krishna-katha, talk about our Prabhupadanuga future in peace and unity without fighting and how to cooperate together.

Let us leave this festival feeling Prabhupadas mood for cooperation and unity and how to follow his instructions better and better in our hearts & consciousness. No other topics !!  As you all nicely control your mind to focus on the Hare Krishna mantra while chanting similarly we are pleading with you to block all other talks throughout this whole festival & beyond that are not directly about Prabhupada, Krishna and what they want from us now & tomorrow. And especially no topics which can end in personal or other fights!!!

with the devotees (saṅga-tyāgātsatovṛtteḥ).

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness has been established
to facilitate these six kinds of loving exchanges between devotees….

The life of the Kṛṣṇa conscious society is nourished by
these six types of loving exchange among the members;
therefore people must be given the chance to associate with
the devotees of ISKCON because simply by reciprocating in the six ways
mentioned above an ordinary man can fully revive his dormant Kṛṣṇa consciousness.”

By the end of this festival, we want everyone to leave feeling so empowered by Prabhupada that they can open there own center, print Prabhupada’s original books and preach anywhere in the world. This should be the result of our association.

I want to create an information sheet that will help all devotees around the world get more association with like minded devotees from around the world. There are many wonderful Prabhupada based “Ritvik” Temples, centers, disciples around the world who are giving local association and online association.

We just need to collect all this information and make it available to devotees.

Imagine being able to join a live online class with like-minded devotees 24/7 from around the world.

Many devotees struggle to wake up early in the morning, to chant their rounds, so I also want to encourage every single devotee to do your japa live online and tell your local friends that they can join you to get encouraged and supported to jump start their daily Japa program. This will encourage you, encourage them & can be used to recommend a devotee for formal initiation.

Devotee: One who does that, he is preaching? One who arranges for
chanting and dancing and taking prasādam, that is as good as preaching?

How to reach our preaching center in Mainhausen/Mainflingen, Germany
by train/bus, two options (Update):

1. Frankfurt (Main) train station with train VIA RE 85 in “direction Babenhausen (Hess)”, and then get off in Seligenstadt. From Seligenstadt take bus 86 (OF-86) to Mainflingen (bus station Kettelerstr.). Then 5 min. walk to Friedhofstr.3.

2. Frankfurt (Main) train station with train RE55 (4623) in “direction Würzburg Hbf”, and then get off in Dettingen (Main). From here you have to walk 25 min. to Mainflingen, Friedhofstraße 3. (Note: during walk you will have to cross river Main via skywalk bridge “Kilianusbrücke”, which is only nearby bridge).
