Apr 13, CANADA (SUN) — A systematic review of ISKCON-related corporations and projects.
In yesterday’s segment we stopped short of completion on the mapping of Banyan Management, Inc., Bhaktivedanta Academy of North America, Inc. and The Association for The Protection of Children, Inc., along with any connected entities. Going a step further, we find that Banyan Management, Inc. is connected only to its sole director, Miriam Tassinare (Mukhya devi dasi).
As already mentioned, the Bhaktivedanta Academy of North America, Inc. was previously the New Raman Reti School, Inc., and the latter is now an inactive corporation. All the directors of New Raman Reti appear to have moved on to the new corporation, with the exception of Patricia Pugliese.
We have updated a number of entries in which devotee names have been matched to karmi names, and a few have been corrected.
When following the threads from The Association for The Protection of Children, Inc., our corporate map spiders out into an extensive cluster of other entities and personalities. The initial connector comes from the Bhaktivedanta Academy of North America, Inc. through its director, Thomas L. Pourchot (Tamohara dasa). Dr. Pourchot is joined on the board of The Association for The Protection of Children, Inc. by Kenneth L. Solomon (Kesi Hanta dasa), who can be characterized as a ‘keystone’ personality. We find that Solomon/Kesi Hanta das is also a director on no less than seven additional corporations, most notably Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara Nitya Seva Fund, Inc. (which also has Alfred B. Ford (Ambarisa das) on its board) along with Back to Godhead, Inc., and an inactive corporation, Vrindavan Food for Life, Inc.
This cluster of organizations is included below, but it will take several segments to provide detailed maps for all of them.
The reader may recall that this corporate mapping process began with Iskcon Convention of Temples, Inc. and David Dobson (Devideva dasa), who had been mentioned in Sun articles in relation to ISKCON Philadelphia and Food for Life activities. In today’s Cluster #5 map we find another director from the Iskcon Convention of Temples, Inc., David V. Jakupko (Kirtiraja das), who was included in both the Cluster #1 and the Cluster #2 Reports. In Cluster #5, we see that Jakupko (Kirtiraja das) is also associated with the Krishna Community Fund, Inc. and Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara Nitya Seva Fund, Inc. While the connectors have not yet been drawn, this represents one degree of separation between Dobson (Devideva dasa) and other influential ISKCON members like Alfred Ford (Ambarisa das).
Of the seven new corporations added to the map with this report, three are inactive. Several readers have inquired as to the point of including inactive corporations in the map, and here is the rationale: Even if an organization is currently inactive, the relationships that once existed between the board members are likely to still be in place (unless replaced with a severed relationship). Some of these non-active corporations were precursors to current organizations, as in the case of New Raman Reti, Inc., which preceded the Bhaktivedanta Academy of North America, Inc. There will obviously be interesting history to discover regarding why some corporations became non-active. Some may have moved to other countries, or their assets may have been acquired by another corporation. Some may again become active in future. So the data is important as we map forward.

Why has ISKCON US registered so many different non-profit organisations with some being the same group of people in it. Is it to solicit fund from the general public as donations or to solicit goverment grants from the US goverment or both. If so what happened to all that money. Are there any records kept. Are the public allowed to have access to this records.
It is beginning to appear like some kind of a karmi( materialistic )organisation. Is this what HDG ACBSP wanted The International Society for Krsna Con. to be or was it was meant for the spiritual upliftment of the human society.
