Posted on April 28th, 2010: The Rotary Club of Bangalore has come a long way with many accomplishments to its credit during the past 7 decades, growing to its current strength of almost 270 members, implementing numerous projects serving the community at large. Rotary today has about 1.2 million Rotarians in 168 countries, apart from nearly 2,37,500 teenaged Interactors in 118 countries and about 1,85,000 young adult Rotaractors in 158 countries,forming a world community in capsule and serving as human links in furtherance of international fellowship, world understanding and peace. Shri Madhu Pandit Prabhu has been awarded “Man of the Year” award by the Rotary Bangalore City Centre for the year 1997 and it is an achievement worth remembering.
