Yamaraja Dasa, Juli 11, 2010: I personally served JPS lunch one day in Mayapura. I cooked him pasta and green salad and someone was with me cooking pizza. I thought we were cooking the whole lunch.
When I went outside to serve it Maharaja, devotees appeared from everywhere, arriving at the roof of the long building with pots and trays of prasad. You should have seen it. He ate the whole lot. I know that sounds almost unbeleivabe, but this man was eating extremely large amounts of food.
Recently his disciples composed a song glorifying him, one of the qualities they listed was “one who can control his eating”.
I was stunned…..
