July 23, 2010 – Dear Isa, From what I have read from the NM folks recently, they are saying he has only appointed 11 men and 2 women to be a Governing Body, not gurus, and in sum — NM wants a Governing Body and not appointed guru successors to “manage” (aka administrative priests or ritviks) after he departs.
He said this is the GBC system that Srila Prabhupada wanted. If NM is not going to appoint any gurus, does that not mean he finally learned that appointed gurus are bogus?
Also, we heard that NM is now saying that Srila Prabhupada told him to handle his body after he departs because he did not want his poisoners to handle his body, ok, but if NM knew Prabhupada was being poisoned, why the silence for 30 years? Why didn’t he report that to the police immediately, and try to save him? ys pd
