August 10, 2010 – Good question prabhu. Well the last year festival (2009) was not managed by Jagannatha swami, the person who had been managing it for 13 years, because he was not a GBC goody two shoes acquiescing clone, so the GBC drove him out.
They harassed him away. And so a GBC clone brought in a truck with a bunch of grapefruits which ended up being strewn all over the site, and it was not cleaned up, and the city was very upset at the mis-managing.
So we almost had no permit AT ALL this year (2010) since the city was so fried with the way the “GBC friendly” folks managed things. OK, so our ritvik guys had to go and beg the city to get ANY PERMIT AT ALL!! We almost had NO FESTIVAL! At all!
We only got a permit for ONE CART. Then at the festival, the ritvik devotee’s mother wanted to ride on the cart, and as usual, the GBC clones started shouting at the poor woman and calling her VILE names that you would not call your dog.
Of course Trivrikrama’s goondas already shoved and pushed this woman around after she gave the temple a $1,000 donations a few years ago, they have already put her through hell. Instead of saying, gee, we are glad your nice vaishnava son got all the permits, they spit on her, called her worse names than you call a dog, and wanted her driven away.
So in other words, they do not even care about the fact that our people had made the festival, they still think we are evil for — helping them! If you help them, they spit in your face, shove you around, grab you and physically push you around, and call you worse names than a dog, then they wonder ….. why are our temples empty? Well, because you do not want anyone else in your temples, ok except your molester messiahs program, then you’ll kiss their feet, thats why.
Of course Radhanatha is smiling sweetly, he knows his people are always raining hell on the vaishnavas, even attacking a poor woman devotee, yep, his favorite pastime like he is suing the Bangalore folks. Harass the devotees, that is their pastime. The only good news is that we tolerated and helped anyway, so at least the public benefitted despite their evil ways. ys pd
