“Just judge the result, Jayadvaita has defiled this pure, transcendental literature by becoming more than his Guru overnight.”
BY: HOTRA DAS
Aug 25, 2010 — AUSTRIA (SUN) — This article is a comment on the recent article by Rama dasa, “Chief Editors of the Book Changes” and Mahasana dasa, “I Like the New Bhagavad-gita“.
‘…How dare you to doubt us and criticize us so harshly because we keep editing Srila Prabhupada’s books. We, the pure and devoted souls, can go on editing His books as long as we feel free, because we become more pure and more qualified every passing year. Srila Prabhupada has put his unflinching faith and trust into us and all His statements like: “… In future you don’t do any changes without asking me first …”, “… Do not try to change anything without my permission…”, “I also do not like too much editorial work. This too much editorial work on Geetopanishad (the typed manuscript of the Gita)…”, etc., etc., they are just a myth. You don’t understand Srila Prabhupada, but we do. He was unhappy with His Gita during His lifetime but luckily He has us, the devoted, supremely qualified, lifetime appointed editors, we go on perfecting his books. And don’t dare to criticize us again, you lowborn and ignorant worms.’
This message is conveyed to us with many little video clips. But every hoax is self-revealing. Jayadvaita is permitting us a gracious glimpse into his heroic revisions, which have been scanned and digitized and can be seen in “See the Changes”, handwritten on the 1972 Macmillan Gita.
And miraculously we find in Bhagavad-gita 4.34 Translation the Verse unchanged and without remarks:
“Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.”
Then why do we find in the 1983 revised and enlarged edition the following?:
“Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.”
This is just one example out of the many thousands of changes, an orgy of falsification, what to think of such fickle minded, absurd editing. Srila Prabhupada was giving lectures from His 1972 Gita all over the world. Many devotees would read excerpts to Him, He was personally reading it.
Or was He just a bewildered old man, and the world had to wait for an upstart like Jayadvaita to reveal the transcendental meaning of the Bhagavad-gita? What impertinent audacity and shameless self-overestimation. Just judge the result, Jayadvaita has defiled this pure, transcendental literature by becoming more than his Guru overnight. A born mleccha wants to be an accomplished scholar. What a calamity.
At last we are told on www.bbtedit.com that those “hopeless skeptics” who still want to read Srila Prabhupada’s beloved 1972 Macmillan Gita can get it, of course, from the BBT. But obviously you need a private investigator to recover one. Nowhere on the official www.krishna.com website can it be found. There is a choice of five different Gitas, no Macmillan Gita, and no information whatsoever about what edition it might be. You don’t know what Gita you are holding in hand. This seems to be on purpose, and it leaves the door open for any amount of cheating, falsification, manipulation and deception.
What “glorious” service, the Bhagavad Gita As It Never Should Have Been.

The following is taken from the lecture by Srila Prabhupada; SB 1:2:11 Oct. 22 1972 in Vrndavana, India ;
” Srila Prabhupada….”Therefore we are presenting Bhagavad-gita as it is. We do not change. We have no power to change. Then where is the authority of Bhagavad-gita? I am a third-class man, and if I change the statements in the Bhagav…ad-gita, then where is the authority of Bhagavad-gita? That is going on. Therefore it is practically… You have got experience that there are hundreds of Bhagavad-gita editions in the Western countries, but because we are presenting Bhagavad-gita as it is, our sale is better than all others. He says, “While other editions are dwindling, going down, this edition is coming up.”
They published our, this present enlarged edition of Bhagavad-gita, fifty thousand in the month of August. They are going to print again, second edition, August, September, October. So the reason is that if we present things as they are, it will be accepted. Without any adulteration. Sometimes, you know, people say that I have done miracles. They say everywhere. But I do not know anything, miracles or magic. If there is any miracle, that miracle is that we present things as they are. That’s all. Without any adulteration. So that should be the principle. Present as it is. It will be accepted.”

Jayadvaita’s and his so called expert team in Book Changing are much better realized souls than what is “As It Is ” says ; ” he has seen the truth ” to ” they have seen the truth.” in the original translation of BG. 4.34.
This is just one simple example of their changes in the Original Books of Srila Prabhupada which speaks volumes in order to fulfill their hidden agenda of all types of size, shape and style of the present gurus in the Iskcon world wide.
Only one leg of dharma is existing very little and they want to destroy that also.
We the followers of Srila Prabhupada have a very long and tedious JOB to preserve and present Srila Prabhupada’s VANI As It Is.
OM TAT SAT.
Hare Krishna. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Note: I wrote this long time back just exposes how devious and deviant Jayadvaita was:
**Unauthorised changes to Srila Prabhupada’s Bhagavad-Gita made by Jayadwaita swami**
Note: spot the difference between the old version and the new.
Here he has inserted **souls** and **they**
Bg 4.34 (new version by Jayadwaita swami)
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized **souls** can impart knowledge unto you because **they** have seen the truth.
Note: here he has ADDED a text which was NEVER there in the original.
**Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in
spiritual life.**
PURPORT Bg 4.34 (new version by Jayadwaita swami)
The Bhagavatam (6.3.19) says dharmam tu saksad bhagavat-pranitam: the path of religion is directly enunciated by the Lord. Therefore, mental
speculation or dry arguments cannot help lead one to the right path. **Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in spiritual life.** One has to approach a bona fide spiritual master to receive the knowledge.
Bg 4.34 ( Srila Prabhupada’s Original untampered version)
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized **soul**can impart knowledge unto you because **he** has seen the truth.
PURPORT
The Bhagavatam (6.3.19) says, dharmam tu saksad bhagavat-pranitam–the path of religion is directly enunciated by the Lord. Therefore, mental speculation or dry arguments cannot help one progress in spiritual life. One has to approach a bona fide spiritual master to receive the knowledge.
The changes made are **very significant** because they change the
**entire** meaning of the text.
Diksa (transcendental Knowledge) is imparted by one self-realized
person–the acarya (Srila Prabhupada)
It is **one singular** person uttama-adhikari( Srila Prabhupada) that transmits diksa (see antya 4.192-4.194) into the madhyama-adhikaris heart. Krishna’s pastimes reflected in the heart of Prabhupada are transmitted (televised) in the Madhyama-adhikari’s heart when he chants offenselessly —this is transcendental knowledge(diksa).
Therefore the plural words “The self-realized **souls** can impart
knowledge unto you because **they** have seen the truth” are totally
incorrect. The clever manipulation OF WORD JUGGLERY “they” means Jayadwaita swami wants to IMPOSE a new breed of so called INITIATING gurus in ISKCON—in spite of Srila Prabhupada’s clear instruction of July 9 1977 letter to the society of order to institute a Ritvik system (which incidently was NEVER revoked by Srila Prabhupada). The bogus initiating gunda “guru” brutes dismantled Srila Prabhupada’s system.
Adi 1.35
A devotee **must** have only **one initiating spiritual master** because in the scriptures acceptance of more than one is always forbidden.
Next change, the ADDED text in the purport.
**Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in
spiritual life.**
Srila Prabhupada’s books are not ordinary books of knowledge. Therefore this change is totally meaningless and unjustified. This are** not** Prabhupada’s words in the Bhagavad-Gita.
Here it appears Jayadwaita swami is trying to manipulate the devotees into searching for a “guru” of the concocted 2/3 majority votes. Is it not?
Srila Prabhupada and his books are not different.
Adi-lila 1-35
There is **no difference between the spiritual master’s instructions and the spiritual master himself**. in his absence, therefore, his words of direction should be the pride of the disciple.
Note: Srila Prabhupada’s words of direction—-Srimad-Bhagavatam there is no difference between Srila Prabhupada’s Instruction and himself (the uttama-adhikari is powerful to give diksa from his books).
SB 1.7.22
The spiritual master, **by his words**, can penetrate into the heart of the suffering person and **inject knowledge transcendental**, which alone can extinguish the fire of material existence.
SB 2.9.8
the potency of transcendental sound is **never minimised** because the
vibrator is **apparently absent**.
