“..and present here various arguments that only aim to please our dearest and exclusive diksha-guru Srila Prabhupada”

The following response to my earlier article, “Srila Prabhupada’s Letter on the Vedic Planetarium” was received from Hari Sauri das:
“Sadhu das getting it wrong as usual. The letter to Dhani was published on my website a year or two ago. Vishuddha Sattva had kept it to himself since he came across it in 1980 or so, and didn’t give it into the Archives or reveal it to the SMPDC. When we started up the new temple design he finally came forward with it and we immediately sent it to the Archives.
As for the display in the main dome it will contain as many of the elements Srila Prabhupada describes in that letter as we can fit in. There will also be displays on three levels around the interior base of the main dome, above the level of the Deities.
We are having a planetarium dome also which will show digital video displays of the Vedic cosmos. This planetarium theatre is something Srila Prabhupada said he wanted.
Your humble servant,
Hari-sauri dasa
Hari Sauri dasa, the above statements do not add to or correct what I have already declared in my article. Please read it. It is wrong to say that you sent the letter to the Archives. According to my documented exchanges with Ekanatha dasa Prabhu from the Archives, after I sent him the long lost and important letter to Mr. Dhani, he wrote me back confirming that he never had received it. He even asked me to send another copy a bit more clear, and I had to send it twice due to the poor scanned quality of one page.
It seems that you forget about my professional background previous to becoming perhaps one of the last — not the least — ISKCON Founding Assistant, and that I’m thoroughly informed in practically all the engineering details of the present design of the ToVP. However, I do firmly believe that you are not fully aware of the architectural and engineering troubles the approved design presents. I have openly discussed it with Ambarish dasa Prabhu and Bhavananda dasa, either through correspondence or personal meetings.
Undoubtedly, I may be wrong on my purview, however I’m an independent thinker and I cannot blindly accept something out or courtesy or something of the kind. We expect some engineering evidence of the “clear view” from the point of view of the pilgrims as an “immersing experience” to the Vedic Planetarium conception. If that cannot be achieved, why to call it like that? Is it designed for the public in general, or is something to be gradually “updated” to the MODERN scientific intelligentsia’s conclusions? These are my sincere and humble questions.
I beg you to see — and eventually show me, please — any engineering rendering of the “hanging chandelier” depicting the planetary systems orbiting around Druvaloka. Most particularly in regard to its SAFETY components. If such diagrams already exist — since a year ago they weren’t there — then you, and hopefully any of the other distinguished members of the VP will provably find out that there will NOT be a clear or possible vision of the dome above the planetary systems.
I have already written an extensive letter to Ambarish dasa Prabhu — I guess with copies to yourself — removing my technical responsibility, and moral liability from an eventual collapse of the above-mentioned planetary system’s structure.
I repeat it again herein — to then make it public from now on, since I couldn’t find proper or technical response yet from the VP Team — that the present design of the VP does NOT practically or technically represent Srila Prabhupada’s wishes in a complete fashion, however only a minor and lesser representation of the Vedic REALITY.
I’ll be so bold to declare herein also that it is a design that carries compromises sprouting from lack of faith in the Vedic conception. I’m open to any philosophical discussion with the party involved to probe my assertions that the present design carries impersonalistic connotations.
I always remain your servant in Srila Prabhupada and the pure Vaishnava’s seva. Please forgive any offense you may consider so during this exchange. Although offenses cannot ever be justified, I only appeal to my due rights as your friend and junior God brother, and present here various arguments that only aim to please our dearest and exclusive diksha-guru Srila Prabhupada. Please correct me if I’m wrong in any of the above… do not allow me to be ALWAYS wrong.
