I have just read Syamasundara das’s latest post, “Telepathic Dung and Hot Air“.
Syamasundara das writes…
“Do something, help Srila Prabhupada’s mission in this area as if he knows as much as he tells us, grow some food, protect some cows and show us how to do it and maintain himself and his family from it.”
A very interesting statement…
Syamasundara das has certainly done very well from his last sentence…”
maintain himself and his family from it”.
I have been told…
but…
I am obliged to NOT give my informant’s name because…
he/she is afraid the Confidentiality Agreement that Syamasundara das and his fellow Bhaktivedanta Manor management are a party to…
may result in he/she being banned and legally prosecuted.
Syamasundara das is a department head… he does NOT receive the basic legal wage… but is on a higher rate than his fellow employees.
Syamasundara’s wife is also a department head… she also receives a full departmental head salary.
At least one of Syamasundara das’s children (actually an adult in his own right) also receives a salary.
At one point in time it was revealed…
after an ISKCON National Council investigation, that in one month alone…
Syamasundara’s family took home a NET sum of £3484.22 (i.e., after the subtraction of tax, NI contributions, etc.)
Not bad for someone living within the parameters established by Srila Prabhupada.
Syamasundara prabhu’s wife was at that time on commissions of £80 per wedding at the manor.
My masked informant tells me that Syamasundara das not only has bought his family one home…
but is now paying off a second.
So much for taking the bare necessities from Srila Prabhupada’s ISKCON.
Syamasundara das also says…
“There is nothing stopping anybody from raising funds and buying a farm in Wales if they had a mind to do it.”
Er… may I beg to differ prabhu.
Syamasundara das is one of the signatories on my banning order from Bhaktivedanta Manor.
One of those charges relates to my instigating the above ISKCON National Council investigation.
On the other charges, i.e., the £50.000 scandal… no one from ISKCON management (despite their contrary statement) has ever bothered to talk to me about it.
We are also still left to wonder why…
the contract for the goshalla went to the HIGHEST tender (a Bhaktivedanta Manor patron)?
And Syamasundara das has yet to explain his part in secretly re-employing a known child abuser.
