“India is famous for her “Holy Cow.” Unfortunately although the sentiment still remains in India to protect Mother Cow in reality no one actually seems to care about the cows and India is fast becoming one of the biggest beef exporters in the world. This documentary on the Gosala of Mother Sudevi in Radha Kund near Krishna’s Vrindavan shows clearly the precarious position of Mother Cow in India Today. This is a very touching, inspiring and heart-warming documentary and exposes the Indian’s real attitudes to the “Holy Cow.””

What a timing. The Radha Surabhi goshala needs some attention. Wonderful. This video is made by Madhudvisa 4 years ago. He has put a lot of time and energy into this production. We would like to thank him for this. After he made this video we only met once and spoke only short. Madhudvisa if you read this i would like to invite you for prasadam whenever it suits you.
Since then the goshala has expanded beyond recognition. It is impossible to describe the glories of Suedevi mata. Every cow in trouble is welcomed in her goshala, no considerations. Everyday 4 to 6 cows or calves are directed towards the Radha Surabhi goshala. She takes care of more then 500 cows of whom at least half need medical attention. Suedevi serves the cows with all her heart, no problem is to big and i can assure you there are always surprises if you work with living entities. To manage this operation she employs 25 locals of whom few she has trained in nursery. This boys can do everything from administrating medicines, giving injections, stitching to amputating legs. The stocking of tons of busa (straw) is just finished and since 4 days she sends her trained boys in their free time to another goshala in Goverdhana plagued by food and mouth disease. Of course she also looks after her staff well. They fully appreciate her dedication to the service of the cows and i can guarantee you to work with the local young Brijwasis can make you nervy.
I live 1/2 mile from the goshala in the same street as can be seen in the video and help with the administration. I would like to invite everybody to visit when in Braj dhama. You can always contact me if you need help when visiting. gaurapadadas@gmail.com is my mail address or you can phone if urgent 08958245767.
There is so much more to say but better come and do a little seva like brushing, chanting,…….
