According to Srila Rupa Gosvami, any book which gives enlightenment in the matter of advancing in devotional service is considered to be revealed scripture. Srila Madhvacarya has also defined revealed scriptures as referring to books such as the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas, Upanishads, Vedanta—and any other literature written in pursuance of such revealed scriptures.
In the Skanda Purana there is this statement: “A person who is constantly engaged in reading literature enunciating the cultivation of Vaishnava devotional service is always glorious in human society, and certainly Lord Krishna becomes pleased with him. A person who very carefully keeps such literature at home and offers respectful obeisances to it becomes freed from all sinful reactions and ultimately becomes worshipable by the demigods.” It is also said to Narada Muni, “My dear Narada, a person who writes Vaishnava literature and keeps such literature at home has Lord Narayana always residing in his house.” In Srimad-Bhagavatam, Twelfth Canto, Thirteenth Chapter, verse 15, it is stated, “Srimad-Bhagavatam is the essence of all Vedanta philosophy. Any person who has become attached in some way or other to the reading of Srimad-Bhagavatam cannot have any taste for reading any other literature. In other words, a person who has relished the transcendental bliss of Srimad-Bhagavatam cannot be satisfied with mundane writings. […]

Thank you for posting this article. I completely agree about what this article says this is really tattva and siddhanta. People have problems in the material world because they do not engage the factor time and the activities through sravana smarana and meditation on the revelead scriptures.
We know we born alone we die alone therefore our only salvation is to use everything in krsna service, I mean all the maya rupas were already existing in the transcendental body of SRI MAHA VISNU in a unmanifested form. They were already there because Krsna already knew that the most unfortunate and miserable criminals living entities was going to refuse to serve HIM, like here in this world or in one city they build the jail before because they already know that some criminals are already there.
Once a devotee asked SRILA PRABHUPADA why Krsna created the material worlds? And SRILA PRABHUPADA told him you rascal why you want to enjoy separately from Krsna, all these maya rupas are not working directly under the supreme desire of SRI KRSNA,to make all these unwanting yantrarudhani mayaya to work under the direction of krsna means to find out the real spiritual body by costant service, we are giving extra job to SRI KRSNA in the material world therefore we have to pay the karma for all the troubles that we are giving to Krsna by not using verything for HIS service.
The only purpose of this human form of life is to use everything for Krsna because it was already like that before, therefore if we want to go back to the nimitta matra remote cause we must become a perfect tools in the divine hands of SRI KRSNA as use to be since time immemorial by being careful to not waste even a lava matra a fraction of a second without be engaged in Krsna seva. Only then we get relief from all our miserable conditions by departing from this world of living dead in a blissful mood, because almost everyone born in ignorance and illusion full of duality is not that we just born alone and die alone there are also so many obstacles to overcome to go back normal again, and that’s possible only by bhakti paresanu bhavo viraktir anyatra ca, by developing a dormant love for SRI KRSNA through constant service through chanting reading etc.
This is the real life, mind your business, don’t waste your time in prajalpas useless talk anarthas useless vicious habits be always victorious through costant kirtanya sada hari as SRI GAURANGA MAHAPRABHU tells us through HIS sublime instructions. Because unless we use all the lava matra in that way we will never get that famous fraction of a second in suddha nama which can set us free through our goal of life that’s prem puman artho Mahan love for the supreme creator.
