Tulasi from Ramanuja Temple in Muktinath/Kathmandu

Tulasi from Muktinath, Kathmandu, Nepal, one week old

August 4, 2012 — Devotees travelling to Muktinath sent me Tulasi seeds which they got from a pujari at the Ramanuja Temple in Muktinath. This pujari said that this Tulasi grows in Nepal und since Nepal has average sea level of 4430 ft, quite a colder climate than Sri Vrindavan Dham or Sri Dham Mayapur. The idea is to have a more cold resistant Tulasi for those who live in the northern hemisphere where we have a colder climate but still want to worship Tulasi Devi.
