The significance of Srila Prabhupada’s appearance

“So my dear boys and girls, about six years ago I came to your country single-handed, with this pair of cymbals. Now you are so many chanting Hare Krishna. That is my success. It was the prediction of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu:

prthivite ache yata nagaradi grama
sarvatra pracara hoibe mora nama
(Caitanya-bhagavata, Antya 4.126)

Lord Caitanya desired that “In all the towns, in as many towns and villages as there are on the surface of the globe, My name will be broadcast.” He is Krishna Himself, svayam krsna, krsna caitanya-namine, simply changing His name as Krishna Caitanya.

So His prediction will never go in vain. That’s a fact. So my plan was that “I shall go to America. America is the leading country of the world. If I can convince younger generation of America, they will take up.” I am old man. I came here at the age of seventy years; now I am seventy-six.

So my warning is already there. In nineteen hundred and seventy-one, I had a severe heart attack. You know, all. So the mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu is now in your hands. You are American boys and girls, very intelligent and graced by Krishna. You are not poverty-stricken. You have enough resources, prestige. Everything materially, you are all well-equipped. If you kindly take this Krishna consciousness movement seriously, your country will be saved, and the whole world will be saved.”
Arrival Lecture — Los Angeles, May 18, 1972

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur predicted:

“Soon there will appear a personality who will preach the holy name all over the world.”
Songs of the Vaisnava Acaryas, introduction, Prabhupada-approved 1974 edition

“Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu wanted that His message should be broadcast all over the world, in every village and every town, and my Guru Maharaja attempted. Bhaktivinoda Thakura distributed his literature. I think, in 1896, he sent his first book, Teachings of Lord Caitanya, and I saw in McGill University that book.

And I do not know. That was the year of my birth also, 1896. So somehow or other, later on, I came in contact with Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Gosvami Maharaja in 1922, and he immediately asked me that ‘Why don’t you go to the foreign countries and preach Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s blessings.'[…] In this way I started, first in New York, then in San Francisco, then Montreal, then Boston. In this way, now we have got about one hundred branches all over the world, forty branches in America. Big, big cities…”
Lectures : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Adi-lila 7.149-171 — San Francisco, March 18, 1967

Devotee: …you Srila Prabhupada. Only by your mercy you have brought us to this Krishna consciousness movement.
Srila Prabhupada: I am simply messenger. Mercy is of Bhaktivinoda Thakura and Srila Prabhupada. Before your coming they predicted, that “Somebody will bring.” Maybe that somebody I am. (chuckles) Bhaktivinoda Thakura predicted. So anyway, Krishna has given us nice place.
Arrival Talk in Room — Mayapur, March 23, 1975

“He [Bhaktivinoda Thakura] sent his first book in 1896. Bhaktivinoda Thakura was the first origin of this movement. But he simply thought of it. And he was expecting some others that willing to take up the work. Well, somebody says that I am the same man. And I was born in 1896.”
Room Conversation with Canadian Ambassador to Iran — March 13, 1975, Iran

“Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura then comments: ‘Without being empowered by the direct potency of Lord Krishna to fulfill His desire and without being specifically favored by the Lord, no human being can become the spiritual master of the whole world. He certainly cannot succeed by mental concoction, which is not meant for devotees or religious people.

Only an empowered personality can distribute the holy name of the Lord and enjoin all fallen souls to worship Krishna. By distributing the holy name of the Lord, he cleanses the hearts of the most fallen people; therefore he extinguishes the blazing fire of the material world.

Not only that, he broadcasts the shining brightness of Krishna’s effulgence throughout the world. Such an acarya, or spiritual master, should be considered nondifferent from Krishna – that is, he should be considered the incarnation of Lord Krishna’s potency. Such a personality is krsnalingita-vigraha-that is, he is always embraced by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krishna.

Such a person is above the considerations of the varnasrama institution. He is the guru or spiritual master for the entire world, a devotee on the topmost platform, the maha-bhagavata stage, and a paramahamsa-thakura, a spiritual form only fit to be addressed as paramahamsa or thakura.”

“I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto him.” This gives the definition of the guru. Everyone is in the darkness of ignorance. Therefore everyone needs to be enlightened with transcendental knowledge. One who enlightens his disciple and saves him from rotting in the darkness of ignorance in this material world is a true guru.

Note: Without Srila Prabhupada’s books we would not know who is a saint and who is a swindler. When we see these characters of the demoniac so called “gurus” voted in by bogus GBC in ISKCON as described in 16th chapter of Bhagavad Gita we CAN understand that HOW there are people who are just PSYCHOPATHIC THUGS although they wear the devotee clothes. So this verse “ajnana-timirandhasya” born in darkness is a fact. ALSO it is ONLY Srila Prabhupada that FACTUALLY reveals us WHO IS Krsna, WHERE does Krsna LIVE. And HOW we can go there. What are the ACTIVITIES in the Spiritual World: Goloka. WHAT are the beings like. What do they DO there. ALL these KNOWLEDGE is coming FROM Srila Prabhupada. Otherwise we NEVER knew. We were kept in dark. THIS is Srila Prabhupada OUR BONAFIDE DIKSA GURU who jnananjana-salakaya caksur unmilitam yena my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge.

Just like a desire tree, a Vaisnava can fulfill all the desires of anyone who takes shelter of his lotus feet.

Note: It is a FACT that Vaisnava CAN fulfill all the desires vancha-kalpa-tarubhyas ca. They are LIKE Desire Trees. Srila Prabhupada explains that in the Spiritual World you can desire anything from a TREE and you get it. Difficult to comprehend in our conditioned stage. BUT this is KNOWLEDGE that Srila Prabhupada GIVES. You desire katchories you get. Mangoes you get from ONE tree. Milk you get. ALL from ONE tree. No hard work to fill belly. In the material world these IS_CON dressed as devotees bogus gurus do NOT want Srila Prabhupada as Diksa Guru and the Ritvik System as ORDERED by Srila Prabhupada— so Srila Prabhupada gave them TEMPORARY property but NOT the the power to preach the cult of Caitanya Mahaprabhu all over the world. Srila Prabhupada as VAISNAVA fulfills ALL desires:

We have actually seen that one of the disciples of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura wanted to enjoy the property of his spiritual master, and the spiritual master, being merciful toward him, gave him the temporary property, but not the power to preach the cult of Caitanya Mahaprabhu all over the world. That special mercy of the power to preach is given to a devotee who does not want anything material from his spiritual master but wants only to serve him.

SB 5.18.22 P The Prayers Offered to the Lord by the Residents of Jambudvipa
The material opulences a person obtains by offering prayers to the goddess Durga are temporary. As described in Bhagavad-gita (7.23), antavat tu phalam tesam tad bhavaty alpa-medhasam: men of meager intelligence desire temporary happiness. The story of the demon Ravana illustrates this point. Although Ravana tried to abduct the goddess of fortune Sitadevi from the custody of Lord Ramacandra, he could not possibly do so. The Sitadevi he forcibly took with him was not the original Sitadevi, but an expansion of maya, or Durgadevi. As a result, instead of winning the favor of the real goddess of fortune, Ravana and his whole family were vanquished by the power of Durgadevi (srsti-sthiti-pralaya-sadhana-saktir eka).

    SYNONYMS
    tat–that knowledge of different sacrifices; viddhi–try to understand; pranipatena–by approaching a spiritual master; pariprasnena–by submissive inquiries; sevaya–by the rendering of service; upadeksyanti–initiate; te–unto you; jnanam–knowledge; jnaninah–the self-realized; tattva–truth; darsinah–the seers.

    TRANSLATION
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.

Note: actually we can see that Srila Prabhupada is SELF-REALIZED soul because the PROOF is HIS BOOKS. His BOOKS are EVIDENCE of the TRANSCENDENTAL KNOWLEDGE he imparts. Others the IS_CON bogus Anti Ritvik “gurus” impart NOTHING – they can only quote like PARROT FASHION – there is NO TRANSCENDENTAL KNOWLEDGE. UNLESS Srila Prabhupada SAW the Spiritual World HOW can HE DESCRIBE it in Srimad Bhagvatam, Caitanya Caritamrta etc in HIS PURPORTS? “The self-realized soul can impart knowledge unto you because he has seen the truth.” upadeksyanti te jnanam jnaninas tattva-darsinah.

  3. Mahesh Raja says:

Note: Srila Prabhupada the PURE DEVOTEE had EXPERIENCED REALIZATIONS that is WHY he could DESCRIBE so VIVIDLY HOW just by CHANTING Lord Krsna’s NAME – HE APPEARS in the HEART of the PURE devotee. He could SEE PASTIMES of Krsna IN THE HEART. “Factually, the spiritually developed person is able to have the television of the kingdom of God ALWAYS reflected within his heart. That is the mystery of knowledge of the Personality of Godhead.” “The vision of the devotees is not ordinary; it is purified by the process of devotional service. In other words, as the universal elements are both within and without, similarly the Lord’s name, form, quality, pastimes, entourage, etc., as they are described in the revealed scriptures or as performed in the Vaikunthalokas, far, far beyond the material cosmic manifestation, are FACTUALLY being TELEVISED in the HEART of the devotee.” Where is fear of death for such a personality? He had no fear when given poison. COMPLETE dependence AND ABSORPTION on Krsna.

SB 1.6.33 Conversation Between Narada and Vyasadeva
The Supreme Lord Sri Krsna, whose glories and activities are pleasing to hear, at once appears on the seat of my heart, as if called for, as soon as I begin to chant His holy activities.

    PURPORT
The Absolute Personality of Godhead is not different from His transcendental name, form, pastimes and the sound vibrations thereof. As soon as a pure devotee engages himself in the pure devotional service of hearing, chanting and remembering the name, fame and activities of the Lord, at once He becomes visible to the transcendental eyes of the pure devotee by reflecting Himself on the mirror of the heart by spiritual television. Therefore a pure devotee who is related with the Lord in loving transcendental service can experience the presence of the Lord at every moment. It is a natural psychology in every individual case that a person likes to hear and enjoy his personal glories enumerated by others. That is a natural instinct, and the Lord, being also an individual personality like others, is not an exception to this psychology because psychological characteristics visible in the individual souls are but reflections of the same psychology in the Absolute Lord. The only difference is that the Lord is the greatest personality of all and absolute in all His affairs. If, therefore, the Lord is attracted by the pure devotee’s chanting of His glories, there is nothing astonishing. Since He is absolute, He can appear Himself in the picture of His glorification, the two things being identical. Srila Narada chants the glorification of the Lord not for his personal benefit but because the glorifications are identical with the Lord. Narada Muni penetrates into the presence of the Lord by the transcendental chanting.

SB 2.9.35 P Answers by Citing the Lord’ s Version
The impersonalists can imagine or even perceive that the Supreme Brahman is thus all-pervading, and therefore they conclude that there is no possibility of His personal form. Herein lies the mystery of His transcendental knowledge. This mystery is transcendental love of Godhead, and one who is surcharged with such transcendental love of Godhead can without difficulty see the Personality of Godhead in every atom and every movable or immovable object. And at the same time he can see the Personality of Godhead in His own abode, Goloka, enjoying eternal pastimes with His eternal associates, who are also expansions of His transcendental existence. This vision is the real mystery of spiritual knowledge, as stated by the Lord in the beginning (sarahasyam tad-angam ca). This mystery is the most confidential part of the knowledge of the Supreme, and it is impossible for the mental speculators to discover by dint of intellectual gymnastics. The mystery can be revealed through the process recommended by Brahmaji in his Brahma-samhita (5.38) as follows:

    premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena
    santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti
    yam syamasundaram acintya-guna-svarupam
    govindam adi-purusam tam aham bhajami

“I worship the original Personality of Godhead, Govinda, whom the pure devotees, their eyes smeared with the ointment of love of Godhead, always observe within their hearts. This Govinda, the original Personality of Godhead, is Syamasundara with all transcendental qualities.”
Therefore, although He is present in every atom, the Supreme Personality of Godhead may not be visible to the dry speculators; still the mystery is unfolded before the eyes of the pure devotees because their eyes are anointed with love of Godhead. And this love of Godhead can be attained only by the practice of transcendental loving service of the Lord, and nothing else. The vision of the devotees is not ordinary; it is purified by the process of devotional service. In other words, as the universal elements are both within and without, similarly the Lord’s name, form, quality, pastimes, entourage, etc., as they are described in the revealed scriptures or as performed in the Vaikunthalokas, far, far beyond the material cosmic manifestation, are factually being televised in the heart of the devotee. The man with a poor fund of knowledge cannot understand, although by material science one can see things far away by means of television. Factually, the spiritually developed person is able to have the television of the kingdom of God always reflected within his heart. That is the mystery of knowledge of the Personality of Godhead.

Note: Srila Prabhupada and Krsna were in DIRECT communication. UNLIKE the non-realized Anti Ritvik CONDITIONED SOUL bogus GBC voted in gurus of IS_CON.

Prabhupada: No, not necessarily, Krsna will tell directly. A devotee always consults Krsna and Krsna tells him, “Do like this.” Not figuratively.

Prabhupada: Yes, because a devotee always consults Krsna and He gives order.
Interviewer: It’s a more direct communication.
Prabhupada: Yes. And He gives order.

Bali-mardana: In other words, when you decide that someone is to be in charge of a particular temple does Krsna tell you that this person should be in charge.

Prabhupada: Yes, because a devotee always consults Krsna and He gives order.
Interviewer: It’s a more direct communication.
Prabhupada: Yes. And He gives order.
Ramesvara: Because intelligence, our philosophy is that intelligence comes from Krsna. So if I have some…
Interviewer: And your philosophy is that your daily necessities come from Krsna as well.
Ramesvara: Yes, try to understand. Suppose my intelligence sees that this person is qualified, that means Krsna has told me.
Prabhupada: No, not necessarily, Krsna will tell directly. A devotee always consults Krsna and Krsna tells him, “Do like this.” Not figuratively.
Interviewer: Does that apply then to other kinds of decisions and other kinds of activities as well?
Prabhupada: Everything. Because a devotee does not do anything without consulting Krsna.
Bali-mardana: But that applies to a very greatly elevated soul, that is not an ordinary person.
Prabhupada: That is, therefore the minor devotees, they consult the spiritual master. That is our process. Yasya prasadad bhagavat-prasadah.

  4. Hare Krsna.

Mahes Raja Prabhu: „Srila Prabhupada and Krsna were in DIRECT communication. UNLIKE the non-realized Anti Ritvik CONDITIONED SOUL bogus GBC voted in gurus of ISKCON. „

    —————————————-

YES, the bogus gurus make their followers belive they are in direct communication with Krsna and Srila Prabhupada. While they say Srila Prabhada is only a spiritual grandfather.

    Like Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s case:

    Madhya 18.98.
When the people saw Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, they actually saw Kṛṣṇa, but because they were following their own imperfect knowledge, they accepted the wrong thing as Kṛṣṇa.

    Madhya 18.99.
At that time Balabhadra Bhaṭṭācārya placed a request at the lotus feet of Śrī CaitanyaMahāprabhu. He said, “Please give me permission to go see Lord Kṛṣṇa directly.”

    PURPORT

The puzzled people who visited Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu were actually seeing Lord Kṛṣṇa, but they were mistaken in thinking that Lord Kṛṣṇa had come to Kālīya Lake. They all said that they had seen Kṛṣṇadirectly performing His pastimes on the hood of the serpent Kālīya and that the jewels on Kālīya’s hoods were blazing brilliantly. Because they were speculating with their imperfect knowledge, they saw ŚrīCaitanya Mahāprabhu as an ordinary human being and a boatman’s light in the lake as Kṛṣṇa. One must see things as they are through the mercy of a spiritual master; otherwise if one tries to see Kṛṣṇa directly, he may mistake an ordinary man for Kṛṣṇa or Kṛṣṇa for an ordinary man. Everyone has to see Kṛṣṇaaccording to the verdict of Vedic literatures presented by the self-realized spiritual master. A sincere person is able to see Kṛṣṇa through the transparent via medium of Śrī Gurudeva, the spiritual master. Unless one is enlightened by the knowledge given by the spiritual master, he cannot see things as they are, even though he remains constantly with the spiritual master. This incident at Kālīya-daha is very instructive for those eager to advance in Kṛṣṇa consciousness.
