DWT2: […] Sometimes people ask, “Have you seen God?” To see God is not difficult. You simply have to qualify yourself to see Him by developing your love of Godhead. Then you can see God at every moment.

This is the formula. And if you have not developed Krishna consciousness to the degree that you can always see Him in your heart, then you can see God in the material world, as prescribed in the scriptures. For example, in the Bhagavad-gita (7.8) Krishna says, raso ‘ham apsu kaunteya: “I am the taste of water.”

So, you can see Krishna while drinking water if you remember, “The taste of this water is Krishna.” Is it very difficult? Not at all. Then Krishna says, prabhasmi sasi-suryayoh: “I am the light of the sun and the moon.”

If while drinking water you forget that Krishna is the taste, you can see Him by remembering that He is the light of the sun and the moon. So when people ask, “Have you seen God?” we reply, “Yes, and you have also seen Him, because Krishna says, ‘I am the sunshine.'” Who has not seen the sunshine?

So, you have to begin seeing God in this way—by remembering Him when you taste water, when you see the sunshine, and so on. Such remembrance of God is also seeing Him. Spiritual seeing is not done simply with the eyes.

Because Krishna is absolute, you can also see Him by chanting His name or by describing Him. Sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam pada-sevanam [SB 7.5.23]. When you hear of Krishna, you are seeing Krishna, when you chant about Krishna, you are seeing Krishna, when you are thinking of Krishna, you are seeing Krishna. This is the process for seeing God.

  1. abhaya carana seva das says:

pamho agtACBSP, HARIBODINI EKADASI KI JAI, the sastra says that even a small distraction through the senses (windows which make people to perceive the world according the purity of their senses) can take away all the dharma and intelligence of the minute conditioned soul, why?

“The bewildered spirit soul, under the influence of the three modes of material nature, thinks himself to be the doer of activities that are in actuality carried out by nature.” (BG 3.27)

We forget our real identity because we are under the grip of material nature. The first lesson in spiritual life is that we are not these bodies, but eternal spirit souls.

Once you were a child. Now you are a grown man. Where is your childhood body? That body does not exist, but you still exist because you are eternal. The circumstantial body has changed, but you have not changed. This is the proof of eternality.

You remember that you did certain things yesterday and certain things today, but you forget other things. Your body of yesterday is not today’s body.

Do you admit it or not? You cannot say that today is the thirteenth of May, 1973. You cannot say that today is yesterday. The thirteenth was yesterday. The day has changed. But you remember yesterday; and that remembrance is evidence of your eternality.

The body has changed, but you remember it; therefore you are eternal, although the body is temporary. This proof is very simple. Even a child can understand it. Is it difficult to understand?

Therefore any living entity who refuses to serve Krsna is simply wasting time – until one gets properly situated in the real dharma which starts with daily chanting of the maha mantra Hare Krsna as the best yuga dharma of this age.

What Krsna cares is the eternal realtionship between HIM and HIS sincere devotees, after all it takes a fraction of a second to get the way to see God through the real dharma given by SRILA PRABHUPADA.

That’s everything but if we think there is something else after the wisdom of SRILA PRABHUPADA books then we get captivated by the fake reflection of material energy, to enjoy the own will one must be free but when we get free through the real dharma we don’t want enjoy material nature anymore because we become conscious that we can’t catch and enjoy what belong to Krsna by being trapped in the fake reflection of maya, SRILA PRABHUPADA used to say:

We think this material energy, material world, is everything, because we are foolish. Nabhijanati mam ebhyah param avyayam. Tribhir gunamayair bhavaih. They have been captivated by the three material… They cannot understand that behind this, there is Krsna.

The only way out is to do the will of SRI SRI GURU GAURANGA through the yuga dharma of sri harinam sankirtanam.
