A TRULY LIBERATED AND KRISHNA CONSCIOUS NATION

Please find in the attached picture, a stunning statement taken from Lord Macaulay’s address to the British Houses of Parliament in 1835 (180 years ago).
The evidence shows that his plan was very successfully executed…..

Now the time has come to reverse this evil – and travel the length and breath of Britain as beggars with high moral values, with the spiritual caliber learned from our divine Sampradaya and joyfully distribute the wealth of Krishna Consciousness to the desperately needy British public, and break the very backbone of this nation’s misdirected society.

I propose that we replace her culture, for if the British think that all that is Indian (Vedic) is good and greater than their own, they will lose their false egos and their native asuric culture and they will become what we want them to be……….

Such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage, and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will loose their self esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation.”

Probably Macaulay (an English) understood more, the strength and power of Indian culture, education and heritage more than most Indians do today.
