Pita das – Memories of Srila Prabhupada

In the middle of a class Prabhupada began a sentence and I realized that he was going to say something grammatically incorrect. I thought, “Just see, he’s the perfect master yet he’s going to say something grammatically incorrect.” Prabhupada stopped speaking, looked right at me (even though there were 300 people in the room), looked back up, said the whole sentence perfectly, then looked at me and nodded his head. I melted into the floor and thought, “That couldn’t have happened. I hope he didn’t know what I was thinking.” It was amazing. Then I thought, “Wow, Prabhupada is the perfect master. He really knows.”
