Prabhupada, Columbus, May 9, 1969: […] So Bhagavad-gita is not a new thing, a new adventure. And the person who spoke Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god, does it mean that He left something to be commented by some, these mundane men to understand the meaning of the Bhagavad-gita? Such a great personality, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He told something which is to be understood by the interpretation of a mundane scholar? Do you think it is reasonable?

No. Whatever he spoke, that is all right. And that is clear. There is no question of interpreting in a different way. Just like here, “The Blessed Lord said, ‘I instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god Vivasvan.’” What is difficulty there? Is there any word which you cannot understand?

Is anyone here who cannot understand these lines? It is clear. “The Blessed Lord said, ‘I instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god whose name is Vivasvan.’” It is clear. How you can interpret?

Now, the thing is, unless I think of Krishna that “He is an ordinary man. How He could say to the sun-god Vivasvan?” Then the interpretation is required. But that sort of thinking is not bona fide because if you want to study Bhagavad-gita, you have to take the words of Bhagavad-gita. The Blessed Lord. He is Lord. He can say.

The Lord is not like ordinary man. That, “Because we cannot say to the sun-god, therefore Krishna cannot say”, that is our foolishness. Why should we calculate Krishna’s activity with my activities? Therefore all the commentaries who think Krishna as ordinary man, they are null and void. Such commentaries should not be accepted.

We have explained in our introduction that all the commentaries in the market, they are simply presentation of the particular commentator’s personal view. That is not Bhagavad-gita. If you want to understand Bhagavad-gita, then you should understand as they are said. You don’t interpret in your own way. Full Lecture

    Mayavadi’s And Their Atheistic Philosophies

    All glories to Srila Prabhupada

I have been reading the CC Adhi-lila chapter seven and have realized that those who imagine that they are in control of ISKCON and the BBT are actually atheists. In direct relation to Srila Prabhupadas books we understand his books are coming directly from Krsna, they are non different from Krsna. We know for a fact that the BBT and ISKCON heads do not consider Srila Prabhupada’s books as sacred or for that matter spiritual in nature due to their constant attacks on his writings.

Therefore in reference to Chapter 7 text 115 we read: “One who considers the transcendental body of Lord Visnu to be made of material nature is the greatest offender at the lotus feet of the Lord. There is no greater blasphemy against the Supreme Personality of Godhead.” Text 114 of the same chapter one will find reference to the Mayavadis and their atheistic philosophies, they and those of the BBT heads and the heads of ISKCON are to be considered avisudda-buddayah which means unclean. The BBT and ISKCON are living in the same manner as the Mayavadis and atheists.

This they are doing, for what fool who understands and appreciates the ramifications of sinful activity will continue with them in the light real knowledge? An atheist does, because he does not believe in a life after this one. ISKCON and the BBT are lead by atheists so their followers also inherently and unknowingly follow the same psychology to their demise. This is also called soul killing.

The difference between Srila Prabhupada, the parampara and those heads of the BBT and ISKCON does not exist any more than trying to compare the difference between the Himalayan mountain range and a speck of dust. Srila Prabhupada exposes and explains in the most qualified manner in the Caitanya Caritamrta how Sripada Sankaracharya worked his philosophy and its difference to the philosophy of Lord Caitanya. A complete balance of both showing the dangers and the glories.

The BBT does not explain their challenges to Srila Prabhupadas original books and other writings for the supposed benefit of the Hare Krsna society or the world as a whole. That challenge and understanding they do not have, if they do they do not share it so they leave their followers and world readers blind to understanding the difference between what they claim is a much improved version of Srila Prabhupadas works and his original works. Indeed his original works are not even presented so that the reader may know that they even existed or exist. So we can conclude two things.

They do not understand themselves why they are changing what they are changing or they do not want the world to understand what they understand. Both of these positions are the positions of thieves. Text 121 of the 7th chapter of the CC on paragraph two Srila Prabhupada explains enough to write a book in itself that: ( one should read this whole text ) “For example, a father is one fact, and a son generated from the father is another fact.

Thus both of them are truths, although one is generated from the other. This generation of a second truth, independent truth from a first truth is called vicara, or transformation resulting in a by-product.” So the whole of ISKCON and the BBT have been going down a blind alley, instead of looking for mistakes they should have been absorbing truths and realizations from Srila Prabhupadas writings, making commentaries and expanding on his writings with their loving understanding of his most glorious works.

By this time since the changes started some 35 to 40 years ago there would have been libraries of books based on realizations from Srila Prabhupadas books by his disciples. Where are they? It was and is their lack of faith in the spiritual master and Krsna that has left them in that blind alley. So, the present devotees will write their books and commentaries based on Srila Prabhupadas original writings leaving the BT and ISKCON to continue with their naval gazing.

Truths generate new truths and realizations. As Srila Prabhupada said ” All devotees should write” http://www.dandavats.com/?p=11304 So for the world to move ahead of the bad affects of the BBT and ISKCON we will take and share with the world Srila Pabhupadas advice. Page 113 Purport to text 120 last paragraph..” Therefore the Hare Krsna movement or Krsna consciousness movement is the only light for the foolish living entities who think either that there is no God or that if God exists he is formless and they themselves are also God. These misconceptions are very dangerous, and the only way to counteract them is to spread the Hare Krsna movement”
