Try to Find Srila Prabhupada in This Picture

Indradyumna Swami’s self glorification with his BIG picture makes it very difficult to find Srila Prabhupada. Rahu eclipsing the Moon. But don’t worry Srila Prabhupada will rise again in the left hand bottom corner of the advertisement.

Today I came across this picture, which was sent by Indradyumna Swami, along with this caption:

“One of 15 billboards advertising our 6 programs in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India starting in 4 days. May Srila Prabhupada be glorified throughout the 3 worlds!”

How does he expect Srila Prabhupada to be glorified throughout the three worlds when he isn’t even being glorified on this billboard? Try to find Srila Prabhupada in the picture. Hint: he isn’t the white guy on the right. You may need a magnifying glass to locate him.

Srila Prabhupada is a tiny spec in the bottom left-hand corner of the billboard, apparently with no introduction or identification.

The person on the right, however, has his name prominently displayed at the top of the billboard:
“By Indradyumna Swami and international artists from 14 countries.”

I would be interested in hearing responses from devotees as to what their opinion is of this, both from the supporters of Indradyumna Swami and others who may feel this is minimizing Srila Prabhupada’s position. Maybe an explanation from Indradyumna Swami as to how this came about, who designed the billboard, which ISKCON devotee approved it, etc. Apparently he didn’t see anything objectionable in the billboard, or he wouldn’t have photographed it and sent it to other devotees.

Lala Gopala Devi Dasi: Oh….I didn’t even see the picture of Jagat Guru A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada until someone pointed him out ..of course this is an honest portrayal of how ISKCON gurus sees our founder acharya Srila Prabhupada today.

Guru Prasad: The pure devotee Srila Prabhupada’s photo is no where to be seen on the billboard (but yes on a small corner) while the aspiring photo-op devotee’s image is huge ! You have pushed Prabhupada to a corner on your advertisement but want his glories to be spread “throughout the 3 worlds”

Aprakrita Dasa: All glories to Srila Prabhupada and not to the conditionned soul on the right who is trying to take the place of Srila Prabhupada. I am so angry about that.

Gary Roberts: We as recipients of the mercy of the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada should allways humble ourselves and put Him in the picture and make Him the center…where is Jagat Guru ?

Locan Ananda Dasa: Srila Prabhupada is the founder acarya of Krishna Fest and should be given TOP BILLING. The success formula is to always give Srila Prabhupada TOP BILLING. His mercy is all that we are made of.

Ram Sharana: Better to have not put Swami Prabhupada photo than to put it so tiny that no one will see it. Such a tiny photo is an insult. This man says he wants to glorify his guru but I think he wants to praise himself only and spread his own glory around the three worlds.
