EDITORIAL BOOK REVIEW:

Although almost unthinkable, very serious evidence has recently been obtained regarding a conspiracy to assassinate Srila Prabhupada by poisoning. The producer of this report wishes to emphatically state his opinion that Srila Prabhupada’s apparent death occurred only as a result of His own choice to leave this world. The purpose of this report is not to cast any doubt on the transcendental nature of Srila Prabhupada. Internally, Srila Prabhupada chose His own time of departure. Externally, He was poisoned by arsenic, unable to eat and His body withered away due to malnutrition and toxic cellular obliteration. It is our duty as Srila Prabhupada’s followers to defend Him, better late than never. As the reader progresses through each chapter and appendix he or she will become more and more convinced of foul play, and will want a full and honest investigation in the search for the historical truth so that the health of Srila Prabhupada’s Mission may be preserved. Read the following presentation of evidence, and, with an open and unbiased mind, think carefully about what should be done.

PURU DAS ADHIKARI WRITES ABOUT NITYANANDA’S BOOK:

The assassination of our beloved spiritual master is the crime of the Kalpa. You may not find the subject palatable, or the premise acceptable, but if you read this book you cannot deny the voluminous amount of circumstantial and forensic evidence that give the title of the book credibility. Above and beyond anything we might say are the words of our Acarya himself, and confirmation from others that indeed His Divine Grace was aware of what crime was perpetrated upon his physical person. Though unaffected in terms of his transcendental consciousness, which is eternally at the feet of Sri Sri Radha and Krsna in Goloka, His Divine Grace’s physical deterioration was a fact from 1976 until his departure in 1977. Arsenic levels found in his hair cannot be explained by any other factor than deliberate poisoning. The details are in the book.

This book is comprised of 45 chapters and 24 Appendixes. Written information is accompanied by spectrogram charts of whispers detected on audio tapes from the period under discussion, just prior to His Divine Grace’s departure from this earthly plane in 1977, as well as one heart rendering photo of His Divine Grace, in a color center. The Appendixes are comprehensive offering clear analysis of missing tapes, astrological calculations, Tamal Krsna’s diary, audio engineering reports, information about sources for arsenic. etc. to only mention a few. They must be read to be believed.

There is no need to go into the detail of the information. You should read and examine the book itself, which clearly offers concrete, and substantiated evidence, and it not based on anyone’s speculation or guesswork, rather lab work done by the best forensic audio specialists in the world. Many helpful charts are also in the book, including one of His Divine Grace’s medical condition and the subsequent doctors or treatments offered, and their result in chapter 42. Some conclusions are drawn by the author, throughout, but he allows for the reader to either agree with him or come to some other explanation for events and occurrences. Often both possibilities are offered where two scenarios might explain events, and you can make up your own mind.

No blind followers need read this book. Only thoughtful, intelligent seekers of the truth who are willing to be open minded and think for themselves.

I urge everyone to read this book. It is highly likely that Balavanta will never present his report, either to the GBC or the public for scrutiny, since forensic and circumstantial evidence that has been compiled may be insufficient for legal prosecution of individuals in the American courts. Perhaps the authorities in India will take the murder of such a great sadhu-pure devotee more seriously and act regardless.

Either way, the criminals will not escape punishment. They can run but they cannot hide from Supersoul and the ultimate judgment of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and Lord Yamaraj. – Puru Das –

Even if one or more of His disciples attempted to kill Srila Prabhupada, we must know that He departed when and how He chose to do so.  No one could harm Him in any way because He was fully protected by Lord Krishna.

But if poisoning took place by the malicious intent of any person who still has a place or hand in Srila Prabhupada’s mission, it is our duty as His followers to find them out and guarantee an accounting.  How can we neglect this?  There are those that attribute this poisoning issue to the imaginations of ISKCON enemies, rtviks or troublemakers, but we see that those who first brought the matter to public attention have been longstanding loyal ISKCON devotees. Because most people have heard of the poison issue via the rumor mill, the author of this documentary (Nityananda) has therefore sought to present the facts as they are without innuendo or unfair characterizations.  Indeed, there is the hope that under intense scrutiny, this will all be revealed as a dreadful misunderstanding, our worst fears misplaced. Not likely, however.

“It is my position that this book, Someone Has Poisoned Me, solidly and irrefutably PROVES that Srila Prabhupada was slowly poisoned with arsenic for nine or more months in 1977.

Let the naysayers and critics, doctors and ISKCON apologists come forth to meet the cold, hard truth. It is my proposition that the problems in ISKCON since the departure of Srila Prabhupada have been due to the FACT of His Divine Grace’s being poisoned with one of the world’s most deadly and horrible poisons- namely and specifically, arsenic.

This book is not hype, speculation or unworthy of your serious inspection. It is not anti-anyone or politically motivated. It is an honest and open presentation of facts and evidence.”

WAS SRILA PABHUPADA POISONED?

Srila Prabhupadas poisoning is not a question of speculation or believe. I believe he was poisoned, I dont believe he was poisoned. This is all nonsense. Srila Prabhupadas poisoning is a fact, because Srila Prabhupada himself said it, Srila Prabhupada himself complaint of being poisoned. This is suffice for any sincere Prabhupada follower to start an investigation. A true Prabhupada follower believes in the words of his guru, which are even recorded on tape. Everything else is nonsense speculation. Even the Kaviraj said: “if Srila Prabhupada said so, than it must be true”. Those devious devotees who deny Prabhupada’s poisoning, denying Srila Prabhupada. They have no faith in Srila Prabhupadas own words. They are Kali-Cela, disciples of Kali.

For any innoced devotee to question whether his guru was poisoned is horrible, inconceivable, fathomless and beyond understanding. But hearing the poison complains of Srila Prabhupada Himself, (by Himself on tape) any sincere disciple will try to find out the poisoners.

Srila Prabhupada personally complaints about being poisoned, which is recorded on Audio Tapes and confirmed by Bhakticaru and Tamal Krishna (Tapes are available for investigation). A conspiracy to murder Srila Prabhupada is PROFOUNDLY evident especially in the direct (DISTRESSED) tape recorded statements of Srila Prabhupada days before He passed away; clear statements in which His Divine Grace discussed His poisoning [as well as its pernicious effects on His body and mind] with the very rakshasas -demoniac disciples- who were conspiring to assassinate Him.

“…the GBC is convinced that no such evil deed or even intention existed at the time. The GBC is certain that Srila Prabhupada’s passing away was due to entirely natural causes, as his doctors stated. …some persons are bent on establishing the false and malicious theory that some of Prabhupada’s own disciples conspired to poison him.”  ISKCON statement, Dec. 7, 1997.

But some of the same GBCs confirmed Srila Prabhupada’s poisoning on His death-bed:

Bhakticaru: Someone gave him poison here.
Tamala Krsna: Prabhupada was thinking that someone had poisoned him. [(((audio)))]
Bhakticaru: YES!!!
Tamala Krsna: That was the mental distress. [(((audio)))]
Bhakticaru: YES!!!
Kaviraja: If he says that, there must definitely be some truth to it. (Hindi) [(((audio)))]
Tamala Krsna: What did Kaviraja just say?
Bhakticaru: He said that when Srila Prabhupada was saying that (he is poisoned) there must be something truth behind it.
Tamala Krsna: Sssss!

…the evidence is solid that Srila Prabhupada was poisoned, lastly be the complains of Srila Prabhupada Himself, but by whom He was poisoned is not clearly known. The level of proof, coincidences, and circumstantial evidence, makes for a very compelling verdict. The poisoning of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, was most probably carried out by some of His “closest” disciples.
