I wondered at why Radhanath rarely if ever speaks of Srila Prabhupada or ISKCON in his interviews. How many photos are there of Srila Prabhupada in his website? How much does this Radhanatha glorify Srila Prabhupada in his book websites or interviews? It seems to me that he became famous by his own endeavour, which has about as much to do with Srila Prabhupada as the other personalities that he glorifies in his book or websites.
If you were to read his websites, you would hardly find mention of Srila Prabhupada. Here are some excerpts taken from his website, www.RadhanathSwami.com:
“My spiritual teacher Srila Prabhupada and many of the great teachers throughout history have taught us…
I met His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada. And in him I found a connection and an inspiration. In his teachings I found a wisdom that included all that I had learned from these other teachers.
I am still trying to share the precious gifts that he gave me and all of these other great saints, what they have given me…”
Out of approximately six of seven mentions in his website about Srila Prabhupada, Radhanath’s supposed guru, almost half of them place Srila Prabhupada as only one of his teachers… Teacher? Teacher is a generic term really, and it does not indicate one’s surrender to that personality. Radhanath has never alluded to or proven in his life that he has surrendered to anyone except to his self-centred desires, deceit and the pursuit of fame and glory.
Here are his “Teachers”, and it is certainly nice to see him glorify the pure devotee AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada in this collection… Please make note of the placement of Srila Prabhupada in this line up. You may notice that Srila Prabhupada is rather insignificant, and does not even rank main attraction, which is Swami Ram…
It seems to me that Richard Slavin, AKA Radhanath Swami, the discriminated against little Jewish kid from America, made the big time by riding on the back of Srila Prabhupada. But he neglects to give him much credit for his ‘journey home.’ By downplaying Srila Prabhupada’s role in his so-called spiritual journey, he is elevating himself as a self-made spiritualist. No different, really, from the other ragtag band of gurus that have inflicted themselves upon mankind since time immemorial. Cheap trickster comes to mind when I read or hear anything about the man.
He no longer even makes any attempt at glorifying his alleged guru, Srila Prabhupada. If you were to read the introduction to his book you will not see mention of Srila Prabhupada.
What amazes me more is how some long-term devotees are so easily fooled by this man? I can see how neophytes can be fooled into thinking that this man has an ounce of spiritual shakti, but senior Prabhupada disciples?

In this way they pass as spiritual masters and devotees of God. Such violators of religious principles have no respect for the authoritative Acaryas, the holy teachers in the strict disciplic succession… Instead, to mislead the people in general they themselves become so-called Acaryas,…
These rogues are the most dangerous elements in human society. Because there is no religious government, they escape punishment by the law of the state. They cannot, however, escape the law of the Supreme, who has clearly declared in the Bhagavad-gita that envious demons in the garb of religious propagandists shall be thrown into the darkest regions of hell (Bg. 16.19-20). Sri Isopanisad confirms that these pseudo religionists are heading toward the most obnoxious place in the universe after the completion of their spiritual master business, which they conduct simply for sense gratification.”
The pseudo religionists have neither knowledge nor detachment from material affairs, for most of them want to live in the golden shackles of material bondage under the shadow of philanthropic activities disguised as religious principles. THEY IGNORE THE VEDIC INJUNCTION ACARYOPASANA–“ONE MUST WORSHIP THE ACARYA”–and Krsna’s statement in the Bhagavad-gita (4.2) evam parampara-praptam, “This supreme science of God is received through the disciplic succession.” Instead, to mislead the people in general they themselves become so-called acaryas, but they do not even follow the principles of the acaryas. In truth, how many of us can say that they can trust such a man? All of his private projects are not in ISKCON’s name. He has controlling interest in many ISKCON Temples throughout the world via his disciples. He has independent ashrams in most of these zones where the Brahmacaris are being trained up to be ‘nice devotees’, but are instructed not to associate with the ISKCON devotees in the Temples they are connected to.
Even though he flaunts his independent and offensive program right in front of our faces, still many so-called senior men and women of ISKCON want to be fooled by his thespianship as opposed to his reality. The old adage of “Hiding in plain sight” is very significant with Radhanatha’s persona. Even though it is glaringly obvious and he makes no bones about how Srila Prabhupada hardly ranks a mention in his so-called spiritual life, so many stupid people find him to be a genuine and sincere devotee.
This self-styled/new age/ex Hippie/Mystic Guru/Hora dancing/charlatan is now setting his sights on taking his travelling act onto the world stage of public society life, and launching his career as a stand-up Guru in his own right.
Apart from having gone ‘professional’, Radhanatha is still working his illusionist act all over the world of ISKCON, as he is giving more of his disciples sannyas and encouraging them to take over more and more of ISKCON’s Temples. You can still see his brahmacari Hari nama parties marching in the street as they exit from their secluded bhakta training program ashrams. What are they being trained for? What is the need of being separate from ISKCON Temple programs? What are they waiting for???? Mark my words, Radhanath has a plan, and whatever it is you can bet your bottom dollar it is something megalomaniacal.

Here are a few quotes from our Guru Maharaj, His Divine Grace, Srila Prabhupada:
Apr 10, 1974 Srila Prabhupada: “Our business is to point out who is not a saint.”
Remember when Ravana came to steal Sita Devi? (He was dressed as a Vaisnava sannyasi.) As part of the lila, Sita Devi appeared to be fooled by him. Lord Ram also appeared to be fooled by Maricha, transformed into a golden deer.
Mother Yasoda, Mother Rohini, nor the residents of Vrndavan could tell that Putana (dressed in such beautiful garments, and possessed of such external beauty) was a rakshasi. Yasoda Mayi, always having the utmost concern for the protection of her beloved Son Krsna, gave to Putana full access to Krsna, in her being foolded by Putana’s pretenses.
Srila Prabhupada’s BG 10.4 purport: “Satyam, truthfulness, means that facts should be presented as they are for the benefit of others. Facts should not be misrepresented. According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. The truth should be spoken in a straight and forward way, so that others will understand actually what the facts are. If a man is a thief and if people are warned that he is a thief, that is truth. Although sometimes the truth is unpalatable, one should not refrain from speaking it. Truthfulness demands that the facts be presented as they are for the benefit of others. That is the definition of truth.”
Would you disagree with the understanding that some of us have that it’s our duty to Srila Prabhupada (and Krsna) especially at this point in time to bring to the awareness of others certain deviations going on, when someone is aware of such deviations? – and especially at this point in time, when many people are accepting these deviations as being “genuine Krsna consciousness”. (Srila Prabhupada was warning His disciples against deviations in general, and specifically in regards to staying away from those in Vaisnava dress – for example, Radha kunda bajaji sahajiyas – who would appear (to us) as being “very advanced” (or even “pure”) devotees, but who were deviants from genuine Gaudiya Vaisnavism.
SB 10.44.9,10 states: Religious principles have certainly been violated in this assembly. One should not remain for even a moment in a place where irreligion is flourishing. A wise person should not enter an assembly if he knows the participants there are committing acts of impropriety. And if, having entered such an assembly, he fails to speak the truth, speaks falsely or pleads ignorance, he will certainly incur sin.
Let’s just say that there is a LOT!!! of [REALLY!!! “not nice”] “stuff” about R you [obviously] don’t know about, (because if you did know, you wouldn’t have written the replies you did). Nor am I referring to sexual falldowns. (After all, there’s been so much of that kind of stuff going on throughout the years with various sannyasis, including R, so that’s no “big deal”; thus, I don’t even have a “problem” with R (or other sannyasis) having a few sexual falldowns in his (their) “career” here and there… Srila Prabhupada Himself writes in His same BG 10.4 purport: “Ksama, forgiveness, should be practiced, and one should excuse the minor offenses of others”.)
Regarding your Oct 29, 7:07 pm reply in regards to “doing”:
There are many devotees “out there,” who, with their own money (earned through working), are giving out Srila Prabhupada’s books and are spreading Krsna consciousness to other people, including even in places that neither you or I may be aware of, but their preaching isn’t brought “to the ‘limelight’.” Also, they have never been given the facility (on all levels) that R has been given. Thus, R is certainly in a position to be giving out so many of Srila Prabhupada’s books and preaching Krsna consciousness to people.
You wrote, he gave out out or sold some of his autobiography books.
So the question then comes: “Did R give out ANY of Srila Prabhupada’s books?” (More can be said, but let’s leave it at this. You can fill in the blanks…)
Remember the real Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu?
And remember Ramdas Visvasa who chanted Rama Nama throughout the day and night, and how Lord Caitanya was able to see why he was chanting? (I’m NOT criticising Ramdas Visvasa, but am simply using this as an example for making a point in regards to the fact that there can be a lot more than meets the eye.) And in regards to that, I’ll also bring up this next example in regards to the poet from Bengal who wrote a drama about Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu which pleased all of the Vaisnavas who wanted Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to hear it, but when the poet began reading it to Svarupa Damodar, he chastised the poet. (Through Svarupa Damodar’s chastisement, the Vaisnavas realized their mistake in not seeing the philosophical mistakes in the poetry, and the poet in his humility was made to understand his mistake. Svarupa Damodar in seeing the poet’s humility bestowed his mercy on the poet who was then accepted by Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s devotees into their association and these Vaisnavas introduced the poet to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.)
Taking this verse, “If there was a hint that transcendental mellows overlapped in a manner contrary to the pirinciples of the bhakti cult, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu would not tolerate it and would become very angry.”
Similarly, Srila Prabhupada did NOT tolerate impersonalism, sahajiyaism (which if understood, is also another form of impersonalism), or any other form of MISrepresentation of Krsna consciousness. Besides other (VERY WRONG!!!) things Radhanath is doing, he’s a sahajiya, and the REALLY SAD!!! part, is that SO MANY devotees do NOT!!! see through this and/or his PRETENTIOUSNESS!!!
Ramacandra Puri was a fault-finder. His mentality and objectives were very different.
Pointing out the truth to people so that (hopefully) they will be able to see, and thus no longer fall for the cheatings of others, is different. (Again, see Srila Prabhupada’s BG 10.4 purport regarding “satyam”: To call a thief a thief, and to warn people in this regard, is truthfulness… Would you disagree with Srila Prabhupada on this?
And in regards to your “hmmmm ?,” yes, Radhanath convinced and sent some devotees from New Vrndavan to “get rid of” Sulochan.

Srila Narottama dasa Thakura says, chadiya vaisnava seva nistara payeche keba: unless one serves a Vaisnava, he cannot be delivered. The spiritual master initiates the disciple to deliver him, and if the disciple executes the order of the spiritual master and does not offend other Vaisnavas, his path is clear. Consequently Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu requested all the Vaisnavas present to show mercy toward the two brothers, Rupa and Sanatana, who had just been initiated by the Lord. When a Vaisnava sees that another Vaisnava is a recipient of the Lord’s mercy, he becomes very happy. Vaisnavas are not envious. If a Vaisnava, by the mercy of the Lord, is empowered by Him to distribute the Lord’s holy name all over the world, other Vaisnavas become very joyful–that is, if they are truly Vaisnavas. One who is envious of the success of a Vaisnava is certainly not a Vaisnava himself, but an ordinary mundane man. Envy and jealousy are manifested by mundane people, not by Vaisnavas. An actual Vaisnava is very pleased to accept another Vaisnava who is bestowing the Lord’s mercy. A MUNDANE PERSON IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA SHOULD NOT BE RESPECTED BUT REJECTED. THIS IS ENJOINED IN THE SASTRA (UPEKSA). THE WORD UPEKSA MEANS NEGLECT. ONE SHOULD NEGLECT AN ENVIOUS PERSON. A preacher’s duty is to love the Supreme Personality of Godhead, make friendships with Vaisnavas, show mercy to the innocent and reject or neglect those who are envious or jealous. THERE ARE MANY JEALOUS PEOPLE IN THE DRESS OF VAISNAVAS IN THIS KRSNA CONSCIOUSNESS MOVEMENT, AND THEY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY NEGLECTED. THERE IS NO NEED TO SERVE A JEALOUS PERSON WHO IS IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA. This behavior is indicative of real Vaisnavas. When they saw that Rupa and Sanatana were fortunate enough to receive the mercy of the Lord, they were so pleased that they all congratulated the two brothers. A jealous person in the dress of a Vaisnava is not at all happy to see the success of another Vaisnava in receiving the Lord’s mercy. UNFORTUNATELY IN THIS AGE OF KALI THERE ARE MANY MUNDANE PERSONS IN THE DRESS OF VAISNAVAS, AND SRILA BHAKTIVINODA THAKURA HAS DESCRIBED THEM AS DISCIPLES OF KALI. HE SAYS, KALI-CELA. HE INDICATES THAT THERE IS ANOTHER VAISNAVA, A PSEUDOVAISNAVA WITH TILAKA ON HIS NOSE AND KANTHI BEADS AROUND HIS NECK. SUCH A PSEUDOVAISNAVA ASSOCIATES WITH MONEY AND WOMEN AND IS JEALOUS OF SUCCESSFUL VAISNAVAS. ALTHOUGH PASSING FOR A VAISNAVA, HIS ONLY BUSINESS IS EARNING MONEY IN THE DRESS OF A VAISNAVA. BHAKTIVINODA THAKURA THEREFORE SAYS THAT SUCH A PSEUDOVAISNAVA IS NOT A VAISNAVA AT ALL BUT A DISCIPLE OF KALI-YUGA. A disciple of Kali cannot become an acarya by the decision of some high court. Mundane votes have no jurisdiction to elect a Vaisnava acarya. A Vaisnava acarya is self-effulgent, and there is no need for any court judgment. A false acarya may try to override a Vaisnava by a high-court decision, but Bhaktivinoda Thakura says that he is nothing but a disciple of Kali-yuga.

THERE ARE MANY KARMIS IN THE DRESS OF DEVOTEES, BUT THE SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD CAN DETECT THEIR PURPOSE. The karmis want to use the property of the Lord for their selfish sense gratification, but a devotee endeavors to use the Lord’s property for God’s service.

TRANSLATION
The place, the time, the cause, the purpose, the activity and the ambition were all the same for both the demigods and the demons, but the demigods achieved one result and the demons another. Because the demigods are always under the shelter of the dust of the Lord’s lotus feet, they could very easily drink the nectar and get its result. The demons, however, not having sought shelter at the lotus feet of the Lord, were unable to achieve the result they desired.
PURPORT
In Bhagavad-gita (4.11) it is said, ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham: the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the supreme judge who rewards or punishes different persons according to their surrender unto His lotus feet. Therefore it can actually be seen that although karmis and bhaktas may work in the same place, at the same time, with the same energy and with the same ambition, they achieve different results. The karmis transmigrate through different bodies in the cycle of birth and death, sometimes going upward and sometimes downward, thus suffering the results of their actions in the karma-cakra, the cycle of birth and death. The devotees, however, because of fully surrendering at the lotus feet of the Lord, are never baffled in their attempts. Although externally they work almost like the karmis, the devotees go back home, back to Godhead, and achieve success in every effort. The demons or atheists have faith in their own endeavors, but although they work very hard day and night, they cannot get any more than their destiny. The devotees, however, can surpass the reactions of karma and achieve wonderful results, even without effort. It is also said, phalena pariciyate: one’s success or defeat in any activity is understood by its result. There are many karmis in the dress of devotees, but the Supreme Personality of Godhead can detect their purpose. The karmis want to use the property of the Lord for their selfish sense gratification, but a devotee endeavors to use the Lord’s property for God’s service. Therefore a devotee is always distinct from the karmis, although the karmis may dress like devotees. As confirmed in Bhagavad-gita (3.9), yajnarthat karmano ‘nyatra loko ‘yam karma-bandhanah. One who works for Lord Visnu is free from this material world, and after giving up his body he goes back home, back to Godhead. A karmi, however, although externally working like a devotee, is entangled in his nondevotional activity, and thus he suffers the tribulations of material existence. Thus from the results achieved by the karmis and devotees, one can understand the presence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who acts differently for the karmis and jnanis than for the devotees. The author of Sri Caitanya-caritamrta therefore says:
krsna-bhakta—-niskama, ataeva ‘santa’
bhukti-mukti-siddhi-kami—-sakali ‘asanta’
The karmis who desire sense gratification, the jnanis who aspire for the liberation of merging into the existence of the Supreme, and the yogis who seek material success in mystic power are all restless, and ultimately they are baffled. But the devotee, who does not expect any personal benefit and whose only ambition is to spread the glories of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is blessed with all the auspicious results of bhakti-yoga, without hard labor.

These “jealously” and envy is also very common among Prabhupadanugas. Due to their over- zealous attitude towards Srila Prabhupada they decry every single vaishnavas and among these vaishnavas some of them may qualified to actually occupy the post of acarya but because of this jealousy attitude, they are unable to see.
Most Gurus in Iskcon are unqualified, that does not mean that there are no qualified Guru in the Gaudiya Vaishnava circle, this the Prabhupadanugas need to open their eyes and see.
