Tamal Krishna Goswami, October 18, 1977: My dear Vasudeva Prabhu, please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. I have been instructed by His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada to reply your letter dated September 29th, 1977.
Although His Divine Grace is very ill, still he is so much interested in Fiji and the Krishna-Kaliya Temple that I thought it proper to read your Letter to: Him. Srila Prabhupada heard everything with great attention. Srila Prabhupada was very pleased to know that book distribution is being increased with the ample assistance of householders living outside the temple. Prabhupada said that any of these sincere householders should be initiated. “Increase the number of devotees there.
You initiate them with a fire ceremony. I have already named eleven of my disciples so you can write to any of them the recommended persons and after receiving the spiritual name, you can hold a fire ceremony. Your idea for dressing the Deity is very good. Krishna’s lotus feet should always be visible. But Krishna should not have too short a dress, that will not look nice. Yes, the Nagapatnis tails may also show. Please send a photograph showing how nicely the Deities look now.
I will be very happy to see it. Yes, you may initiate the wife of Bhuhan Mohan Das she may help with the Deity worship.” In general, Srila Prabhupada’s main desire is that you should increase the number of devotees. In this regard, His Divine Grace said, “Initiate the local natives. Ask them to give up their bad habits and become Vaisnavas.” Four times while Srila Prabhupada heard your letter, He stressed this point of increasing the number of followers there. So just as when Srila Prabhupada went to America, He was very merciful and lenient in giving out first initiations, so you may also be. If someone has agreed to follow the regulative principles and has been attending the temple for some time and chanting rounds, you can encourage them by giving initiation.
You may send the names of such worthy persons to any one of the eleven devotees whom Srila Prabhupada has designated to initiate on His behalf, and after receiving the sanctified beads and new names, you can then perform the initiation ceremony. In this way spread very vigorously his glorious movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and try to make Fiji the first Krishna conscious country in the world.

[Berkeley Prabhupadanugas: This makes the argument from the GBC/ Gaura Keshava/ Gaudiya Matha that “initiations had ceased” already in 1977 — sound un-researched. Inititiations did not “end” as Gaura Keshava claims, rather they were to be continued … by the devotees of Srila Prabhupada ON HIS BEHALF. Never mind that: people are all the time, currently reading Srila Prabhupada’s books and they are seeing first hand that they are getting “divyam jnanam which destroys sins” (diksha) even today (2009). Whereas Gaura Keshava’s process seems to be that people need to have some “living banana tossing ceremony” from the molester messiah’s project and this apparently constitutes diksha, or at least GK and his pals like Basu Ghosha are training people to worship that process.
Notice also that Srila Prabhupada wants to INCREASE the number of his ISKCON followers, and not “stop” making his ISKCON followers. Nor does Srila Prabhupada want to make the next wave of ISKCON followers “disciples of eleven appointed guru successors” who are clearly unauthorized and unqualified. Notice that as soon as the eleven started “making their own disciples” the number of ISKCON followers has diminished dramatically, causing a number of projects to close and the entirety of ISKCON to go bankrupt. Notice that this letter from Tamal does not indicate that the ritvik process should be halted upon the departure of Srila Prabhupada, or at any other time.
Whereas the bogus “living (molester messiah) gurus” process has made the temples “skeleton crews” even according to an ISKCON authority like Lokanatha swami, as he said in his 1988 Vyasa puja address, the temples are skeletons of their former selves. This is what also occured in the Gaudiya Matha, the mission was spreading nicely when they were promoting a bona fide guru, as soon as the deviated and promoted fools and perverts as their INITIATING diksha gurus, the temples became “skeletons.”
When people are being initiatated and connected to the pure devotee as they are in the Prabhupadanuga and Bangalore ritvik process, the number of followers and temples is always increasing.
Of course, even the number of followers of “posthumous” Jesus is also increasing by tens of thousands daily, which is why the GBC says “we do not want another Jesus” (bona fide messiah) in ISKCON because “making many followers” is not their objective. They do not want to save the innocent public, rather they want the numbers of followers to decrease so that the ISKCON temples become empty vessels and sickly skeletons, and then they can transform the empty buildings into their Hindu deity showing businesses. And that is what they are doing. And that is what the Gaudiya Matha did.
Notice also that Srila Prabhupada wants “native managers to manage native citizens.” He does not want some USA bodied persons to fly around jet set style every year to “manage,” rather he wants the local programs in places like Fiji to be run by local devotees and local managers. The bogus gurus are famous for kicking out local managers and replacing them with non-natives, who are merely loyalists to the molester messiah project and not necessarily qualified managers.
The living molester messiahs project is claiming to be the source of “pure knowledge which destroys sins”? And this is the idea of their big scholars? And other “scholars” like Gaura Govinda Maharaja were of course teaching the same deviant idea. GGM was “so glorious” that his life ended sitting at the feet of the molester messiahs project’s leaders in Mayapura, just after GGM lectured to the GBC that they need to keep Tamal in the guru post, so that the head of the molester pooja serpent could remain in the post of high priest of the deviant’s “acharya board” body.
GGM left his body right at the biggest headquarters of the molester messiah’s program, a place where maybe thousands of children were molested right under GGM’s nose while he sat a few miles away in Bhubhanesvara eating nicely as the children he was supposed to be helping and monitoring (as he was a leader) were being starved, beat and molested. And all the while GGM kept insisting on keeping the head of the molester messiah’s project in charge, while GGM says we cannot simple read books from the pure devotee, so he is another person who thinks his living molester pooja project can replace the teachings of the pure devotee. Gaudiya Matha part two.
Jayadvaita swami, speaking for the GGM / Gaura Keshava / Basu Ghosha molester messiah’s project, admits that a number of their messiahs are found to be engaged in illicit sex with men, women and children, begging the question, when did initiations ever take place at all in their system? And now the GBC has deputed Malati (former mini-skirted self-advertised punk rocker) to “monitor” their messiahs like Satsvarupa. Whereas shastra says Krishna dictates to the acharya, the GK and Basu Ghosha system has their ex-punk rocking girls dictating to the messiahs.
So how is the transcendental process of initiation “coming down from the higher plane” when it seems the lower plane has to administer the higher plane? The garbage collector man — is in charge of monitoring the King? Jesus is going to absorb the sins of the world, but he cannot absorb the sins of — himself?
In any case this letter shows that people expected Srila Prabhupada to continue initiating, there was no “stopped initiations” announcement, and rather we find the initiations were to continue. Thanks pd]
