I share that today the international summit on climate change begins in Madrid, it will last 14 days, several thousand people will come from all over the world and more than 50 presidents of governments, they will address the issue on many points of view, but surely that will not deal with the subject from the spiritual point of view.
I will try to address the issue from the spiritual point of view, in the Bhagavatam we have the information that when Mother Earth was ruled by Holy Kings, by the influence of these Holy Kings all people were devotees of God or Krishna, and all naturally they obeyed the laws of God, the result of this is that Mother Earth was very happy and gave all her opulences, it was neither cold nor excessive heat, the cows gave a lot of milk, the trees gave a lot of fruit, and all the World was free and happy.
Now we are in Kali yuga, in this era there are many arguments, many sins are made, there is much hypocrisy, people fight for nothing, there is much atheism, impersonalism, materialism and when people see others suffer they are very happy, the The result of this is that people are very strange, envious, selfish and very dangerous. When people are like this, Mother Earth punishes them in the form of climatic changes, floods, earthquakes, etc.
Srila Prabhupada always said that the cause of global chaos is that there are no devotees of God or Krishna, a person is known for his qualities, the devotees of God or Krishna always live happily in consciousness of God or Krishna and are free, ( The Truth will set you free) and they are kind, tolerant, friendly to everyone, always respect everyone and never want to be respected, are truthful, pure in heart, conquer hunger, thirst, lamentation, envy and old age They do not deceive themselves or others, they are happy when they see others happy in the conscience of God or Krishna and suffer when they see others suffer and have as their best friends God or Krishna and His representatives.
At no time do they forget God or Krishna and His devotees, at all times of life they feel the protection of God or Krishna and His devotees. They live free from fear because their future is very bright and they know they will go back home to God or Krishna. God or Krishna empowers them to turn bad people into good people. They use their selfishness to go back home to God or Krishna. They don’t envy anyone because they live full of peace and satisfaction. They know God or Krishna and they love him and as there is only God or Krishna and His energies naturally love everyone and everything.

TRANSLATION
All living bodies subsist on food grains, which are produced from rain. Rains are produced by performance of yajña [sacrifice], and yajña is born of prescribed duties.
PURPORT
Śrīla Baladeva Vidyābhūṣaṇa, a great commentator on the Bhagavad-gītā, writes as follows: ye indrādy-aṅga-tayāvasthitaṁ yajñaṁ sarveśvaraṁ viṣṇum abhyarccya taccheṣam aśnanti tena taddeha-yāntrāṁ sampādayanti te santaḥ sarveśvarasya bhaktāḥ sarva-kilviṣair anādi-kāla-vivṛddhair ātmānubhava- pratibandhakair nikhilaiḥ pāpair vimucyante. The Supreme Lord, who is known as the yajña-puruṣaḥ, or the personal beneficiary of all sacrifices, is the master of all demigods who serve Him as the different limbs of the body serve the whole. Demigods like Indra, Candra, Varuṇa, etc., are appointed officers who manage material affairs, and the Vedas direct sacrifices to satisfy these demigods so that they may be pleased to supply air, light and water sufficiently to produce food grains. When Lord Kṛṣṇa is worshiped, the demigods, who are different limbs of the Lord, are also automatically worshiped; therefore there is no separate need to worship the demigods. For this reason, the devotees of the Lord, who are in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, offer food to Kṛṣṇa and then eat—a process which nourishes the body spiritually. By such action not only are past sinful reactions in the body vanquished, but the body becomes immunized to all contamination of material nature. When there is an epidemic disease, an antiseptic vaccine protects a person from the attack of such an epidemic. Similarly, food offered to Lord Viṣṇu and then taken by us makes us sufficiently resistant to material affection, and one who is accustomed to this practice is called a devotee of the Lord. Therefore, a person in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, who eats only food offered to Kṛṣṇa, can counteract all reactions of past material infections, which are impediments to the progress of self-realization. On the other hand, one who does not do so continues to increase the volume of sinful action, and this prepares the next body to resemble hogs and dogs, to suffer the resultant reactions of all sins. The material world is full of contaminations, and one who is immunized by accepting prasādam of the Lord (food offered to Viṣṇu) is saved from the attack, whereas one who does not do so becomes subjected to contamination.
Food grains or vegetables are factually eatables. The human being eats different kinds of food grains, vegetables, fruits, etc., and the animals eat the refuse of the food grains and vegetables, grass, plants, etc. Human beings who are accustomed to eating meat and flesh must also depend on the production of vegetation in order to eat the animals. Therefore, ultimately, we have to depend on the production of the field and not on the production of big factories. The field production is due to sufficient rain from the sky, and such rains are controlled by demigods like Indra, sun, moon, etc., and they are all servants of the Lord. The Lord can be satisfied by sacrifices; therefore, one who cannot perform them will find himself in scarcity—that is the law of nature. Yajña, specifically the saṅkīrtana-yajña prescribed for this age, must therefore be performed to save us at least from scarcity of food supply.

We must know the present need of human society. And what is that need? Human society is no longer bounded by geographical limits to particular countries or communities. Human society is broader than in the Middle Ages, and the world tendency is toward one state or one human society. The ideals of spiritual communism, according to Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, are based more or less on the oneness of the entire human society, nay, of the entire energy of living beings. The need is felt by great thinkers to make this a successful ideology. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam will fill this need in human society. It begins, therefore, with the aphorism of Vedānta philosophy janmādy asya yataḥ [Bhāg. 1.1.1] to establish the ideal of a common cause.
Human society, at the present moment, is not in the darkness of oblivion. It has made rapid progress in the field of material comforts, education and economic development throughout the entire world. But there is a pinprick somewhere in the social body at large, and therefore there are large-scale quarrels, even over less important issues. There is need of a clue as to how humanity can become one in peace, friendship and prosperity with a common cause. Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam will fill this need, for it is a cultural presentation for the respiritualization of the entire human society.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam should be introduced also in the schools and colleges, for it is recommended by the great student-devotee Prahlāda Mahārāja in order to change the demoniac face of society.
kaumāra ācaret prājñodharmān bhāgavatān ihadurlabhaṁ mānuṣaṁ janmatad apy adhruvam arthadam (Bhāg. 7.6.1)
Disparity in human society is due to lack of principles in a godless civilization. There is God, or the Almighty One, from whom everything emanates, by whom everything is maintained and in whom everything is merged to rest. Material science has tried to find the ultimate source of creation very insufficiently, but it is a fact that there is one ultimate source of everything that be. This ultimate source is explained rationally and authoritatively in the beautiful Bhāgavatam, or Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is the transcendental science not only for knowing the ultimate source of everything but also for knowing our relation with Him and our duty toward perfection of the human society on the basis of this perfect knowledge. It is powerful reading matter in the Sanskrit language, and it is now rendered into English elaborately so that simply by a careful reading one will know God perfectly well, so much so that the reader will be sufficiently educated to defend himself from the onslaught of atheists. Over and above this, the reader will be able to convert others to accepting God as a concrete principle.
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam begins with the definition of the ultimate source. It is a bona fide commentary on the Vedānta-sūtra by the same author, Śrīla Vyāsadeva, and gradually it develops into nine cantos up to the highest state of God realization. The only qualification one needs to study this great book of transcendental knowledge is to proceed step by step cautiously and not jump forward haphazardly like with an ordinary book. It should be gone through chapter by chapter, one after another. The reading matter is so arranged with its original Sanskrit text, its English transliteration, synonyms, translation and purports so that one is sure to become a God-realized soul at the end of finishing the first nine cantos.
The Tenth Canto is distinct from the first nine cantos because it deals directly with the transcendental activities of the Personality of Godhead Śrī Kṛṣṇa. One will be unable to capture the effects of the Tenth Canto without going through the first nine cantos. The book is complete in twelve cantos, each independent, but it is good for all to read them in small installments one after another.
I must admit my frailties in presenting Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, but still I am hopeful of its good reception by the thinkers and leaders of society on the strength of the following statement of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (1.5.11):
tad-vāg-visargo janatāgha-viplavo
yasmin prati-ślokam abaddhavaty api
nāmāny anantasya yaśo ’ṅkitāni yac
chṛṇvanti gāyanti gṛṇanti sādhavaḥ
“On the other hand, that literature which is full with descriptions of the transcendental glories of the name, fame, form and pastimes of the unlimited Supreme Lord is a transcendental creation meant to bring about a revolution in the impious life of a misdirected civilization. Such transcendental literatures, even though irregularly composed, are heard, sung and accepted by purified men who are thoroughly honest.”

What it lacks and limits is that as it seems, you have read those answers but you have not shared any of your direct or indirect experience as to what have you done with it to implement in order to alleviating such suffering under discussion.

This should ring alarm bells. I have had my suspicions about him from day one. He claims to understand Bhagavad Gita, but derides anyone who CHALLENGES, GBC, bogus books, FISKCON with statements designed to pacify, and dampen. He praises all who are passive (or write poetry).
Hasti Gopal Das does not understand Bhagavad Gita. He has other motives which should be obvious by now. Lord Krishna is giving Arjuna THE MANDATE to fight even though ultimately it is The Lord Himself who has already defeated them.
Demons like JAS won’t just fade away by themselves (as Hasti Gopal Das states), as they are at the peak of their power, so Srila Prabhupada (through The Lord) is giving THE MANDATE to defeat them! to his surrendered followers. This will please Srila Prabhupada. Once the Demons reach the height of their power their decline will be RAPID.

Agreed. We must get serious and follow Srila Prabhupada. We can present apparent causes to the political Climate Change business along with themes from political science very easily. However that does nothing to educate those who we have been directed to assist, by Srila Prabhupada. That is following Srila Prabhupada. Let us not perorate but rather teach the people how to free themselves from the grip of evil. This is a first class platform to teach from. Srila Prabhuada has presented the solutions as I laid out previously from the Preface of the Srimad Bhagavatam. These postings could be of greater value for everyone if we discussed Prabhupada’s solutions rather than exposing ad hominem the endless derivatives of demonic plans.

SYNONYMS
saktah—being attached; karmani—prescribed duties; avidvamsah—the ignorant; yatha—as much as; kurvanti—do it; bharata—O descendant of Bharata; kuryat—must do; vidvan—the learned; tatha—thus; asaktah—without attachment; cikirsuh—desiring to; loka-sangraham—leading the people in general.
TRANSLATION
As the ignorant perform their duties with attachment to results, similarly the learned may also act, but without attachment, for the sake of leading people on the right path.
PURPORT
A person in Krsna consciousness and a person not in Krsna consciousness are differentiated by different desires. A Krsna conscious person does not do anything which is not conducive to development of Krsna consciousness. He may even act exactly like the ignorant person, who is too much attached to material activities, but one is engaged in such activities for the satisfaction of his sense gratification, whereas the other is engaged for the satisfaction of Krsna. Therefore, the Krsna conscious person is required to show the people how to act and how to engage the results of action for the purpose of Krsna consciousness.
