Hare Krishna, with love and trust I share this beautiful verse of the Chaitanya Charitamrita, Antya-lila, 13, 133, the result of understanding and accepting this verse is that the person will become a pure devotee of God or Krishna and will never criticize anyone.
TEXT 133
vaiṣṇavera nindya-karma nāhi pāḍe kāṇe
sabe kṛṣṇa bhajana kare,–ei-mātra jāne
SYNONYMS
vaiṣṇavera—of the Vaiṣṇava; nindya-karma—reproachable activities; nāhi pāḍe kāṇe—he does not hear; sabe—all; kṛṣṇa bhajana kare—are engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s service; ei-mātra—only this; jāne—he understands.
TRANSLATION
He would not listen to blasphemy of a Vaiṣṇava, nor would he listen to talk of a Vaiṣṇava’s misbehavior. He knew only that everyone was engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s service; he did not understand anything else.
PURPORT
Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa never did anything harmful to a Vaiṣṇava. In other words, he was never inattentive in the service of the Lord, nor did he ever violate the rules and regulations of a pure Vaiṣṇava. It is the duty of a Vaiṣṇava ācārya to prevent his disciples and followers from violating the principles of Vaiṣṇava behavior. He should always advise them to strictly follow the regulative principles, which will protect them from falling down. Although a Vaiṣṇava preacher may sometimes criticize others, Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa avoided this. Even if another Vaiṣṇava was actually at fault, Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa would not criticize him; he saw only that everyone was engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s service. That is the position of a mahā-bhāgavata. Actually, even if one is serving māyā, in a higher sense he is also a servant of Kṛṣṇa. Because māyā is the servant of Kṛṣṇa, anyone serving māyā serves Kṛṣṇa indirectly. Therefore it is said:
keha māne, keha nā māne, saba tāṅra dāsa
ye nā māne, tāra haya sei pāpe nāśa
“Some accept Him, whereas others do not, yet everyone is His servant. One who does not accept Him, however, will be ruined by his sinful activities.” (Cc. Ādi 6.85)

For example, we also notice that Srila Prabhupada does seem to criticize his God-brothers some time saying that how none of his God brothers were qualified because they disobeyed the Order of their Spiritual Master during conversation with his followers.
So, how do we compromise the understanding from the above in the same manners of the followers and their Gurus of all kinds in the present Iskcon who disobey the Order of Srila Prabhupada and are engaged in the devotional service to the Lord ?

Mahabhagavat on the Uttama Adhikari platform cannot preach, this is why Srila Prabhupada has to step down from Uttama Adhikari platform to Madhyam Adhikari platform. One has to distinguish who is ‘demon’ and who is ‘devotee’ to preach, so Madhyam platform is required. Not that Madhyam platform means that ‘one can ”criticise” all and sundry! But sometimes this is required. There are many ways one can effect change in others without ‘pointing out the mistakes of others’ this requires great patience, empathy, diplomacy and skill.
Sometimes it is required that we become bold, fearless and uncompromising in condemning the actions of demonic pretenders and villains who are bent on misleading others.
Those who we have developed a strong relationship with, or family members (who may not have much interest in Krishna Consciousness), we should be more forgiving. This will leave a strong impression on them over time.

Tamāla Kṛṣṇa: So the saintly person tends to overlook the bad qualities and see the good ones.
Prabhupāda: Yes.
Tamāla Kṛṣṇa: Like Kṛṣṇa’s dealing with Pūtanā.
Prabhupāda: Yes. Hundreds and thousands of miles, this fog, simply by two minutes’ light of the sun—finished. [break] …working. If there was no sun, then so many ships are standing on the ocean. The cars, they are “bong, bong, bong, bong,” so many disturbances. You see? You cannot do anything. Daivī hy eṣā guṇamayī [Bg. 7.14]. What you can do? Immediately He can kill you all. Thousands of planets immediately finished. Bring your science to protect them. No, not possible. Māre kṛṣṇa rākhe ke. When Kṛṣṇa desires to vanquish, nobody can save you. Finished. Still, these rascals say, “There is no God.” Simply rascals. At least expose these rascals. We have no power to kill them, but at least we can expose them. That is also great service.
Hṛdayānanda: Sometimes, Prabhupāda, when we expose them, their argument is, “Oh, you are a saintly person. Why are you criticizing me?”
Prabhupāda: No, it is not criticizing. It is opening your eyes. You are blind, you are thinking yourself as very big, so we are opening eyes. You are not big. You are not even pig or fig. That is… ajñāna-timirāndhasya jñānāñjana-śalākayā. You are blind with ignorance, so we are trying to open your eyes. See things as they are. It is favoring you. It is not criticizing you. [break]…words, vibhu, the great, and aṇu, the small. So these rascals, they do not understand these two important words, “God is great; I am small.” They think, “I am as good as God.” This is the folly. [break] …English proverb? “Where angels dare not, the fools rush in.” Eh?
Hṛdayānanda: “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.”
Prabhupāda: So the angels, Lord Brahmā, Lord Śiva, they are offering their obeisances, and these rascals are claiming, “I am God.” How great rascals they are. Śiva-viriñci-nutam [SB 11.5.33]. Śiva-viriñci-nutam. Lord Śiva, Lord Brahmā, they are offering their respects, and these things are: “I am equal with God.” This Māyāvāda philosophy. Mūḍhas.

According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. THE TRUTH SHOULD BE SPOKEN IN A STRAIGHT AND FORWARD WAY, SO THAT OTHERS WILL UNDERSTAND ACTUALLY WHAT THE FACTS ARE. IF A MAN IS A THIEF AND IF PEOPLE ARE WARNED THAT HE IS A THIEF, THAT IS TRUTH. When an international society, meant to preach to millions of people, by the direction of a Mahabhagavata, is threatened by motivated individuals, fact findings and constructive criticism is welcome. In our case against the GBC, we further the warnings and instructions of Srila Prabhupada, relinquishing the “burden” of personally engaging in criticisms. When the GBC assumes no responsibility and becomes a liability to all the devotees including the Spiritual Master, then we get directly involved, revealing anything is found to be wrong and without hesitation.

My understanding is that since Srila Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gowswami Maharaja was preaching and engaging his disciples to built Temples, therefore, his principles of preaching method to the Sober Disciples were, as Srila Prabhupada explains in the Purport ;

As it further confirms in the explanation c.c. Adi 6.85 which reads ;
keha māne, keha nā māne, saba tāṅra dāsa

“Some accept Him, whereas others do not, yet everyone is His servant. One who does not accept Him, however, will be ruined by his sinful activities.”
Therefore, as it appears that the Sober disciples understood clearly the result of violating the principles of Vaiṣṇava behaviour and thus, follow the regulative principles, which protected them from falling down on account of the sinful activities.
However, keeping in mind, according to the Time, Place and Circumstances, Srila Prabhupada further gives a hint to warn and explain to his disciples / followers i.e. Readers in the same Purport ;
” ……Although a Vaiṣṇava preacher may sometimes criticize others, Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa avoided this. Even if another Vaiṣṇava was actually at fault, Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa would not criticize him; he saw only that everyone was engaged in Kṛṣṇa’s service. ……… ”
Dear Readers, make no mistake, it may appear as a contradiction, BUT, it is NOT because the Pure Devotee Srila Prabhupada does never CONTRADICT in His VANI.
So, Srila Prabhupada did bring out to warn his disciples when he saw that some of them were falling down to consult with his God Brothers because of their personal motivated ambitions, Srila Prabhupada boldly spoke out the TRUTH as he refers to a Spade a Spade during his interview with his disciples to keep them engaged in the devotional service according to the Time, Place and Circumstances.

Thus, we have to know and understand according to the CONTEXT of what may seem contradiction and verify it from the Eve’s of the revealed Scriptures only through the bonafide Sadhu, Guru Srila Prabhupada’s VANI.

Raghunath Bhatta Goswami is a High-grade devotee. When he was cooking for Krsna, he didn’t even allow anybody to enter the Kitchen because the dust of these people’s feet will fly up to the ceiling and fall into the Bhoga. So, considering the activities of preachers and Vaishnavas on the platform of Ragunatha Bhatta Goswami, one must take these differences into consideration, and at the same time not imitate devotees on the High-grade platform of behavior.
Dear Readers,
Taking these differences into consideration as pointed out very nicely in the comment of Vadiraja Prabhu indicate that one must not abruptly misperceive whenever one may come across any seemingly Contradictory statement from Srila Prabhupada’s VANI, and make any judgement out of it with an ill-conceived thoughts of ones’ point of views. Thus, one must avoid such misconceived notion in any form or statement to avoid spreading any sort of misguiding to the innocent people about Srila Prabhupada’s VANI.
For example, misconstrued presentation in the DOR. by the Owner of the Sampardaya Sun, Rochana dasa as well as the Directive of July 19 Letter of Srila Prabhupada by the Leaders and the Gurus of the present Iskcon and their related web sites simply to collect the followers out of the massive innocent people for a sense gratification of a Cheap Adoration.
That is one of the point of view in this discussion.
