NOW THAT I AM ABLE

Now that I am able
by the mercy of Krishna God
I must put my heart on the table
I’m enlightened by you Prabhhupada.

Kindly guide my pen
for all to transcend
all with a beginning
and all with an end.

My dear Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami
Shrila Prabhupada
I beg to be of service to you
to please Krishna God.
All I can do now is pray
keep me from falling astray
force open my eyes to eternal truths
stay with me all the way.

O guide for all the fallen
in to this material whirlpool
I remain an ignorant fool
please tell me what to do.
I must end all this suffering
within and with out
I must see Lord Krishna
everywhere and all about.

Or I am only lost
and seeing no way out
lest I get thy torch of wisdom
to be freed from all doubts.
I must know my enemy
I must know my friend
I must know what I’m doing
at every single bend.

O dearest guru of the universe
I must hear thy deathless words
in seperation from you I am dying
to thy words I must be complying.

Kindly show me the way
beyond all this dismay
I know not a thing
dear servant of Him supreme.
Please keep guiding my pen
to life’s supreme friend
guide all that are here
back to home again.

Where love lights up the land
eternally glorious and grand
all surrendered to Lord Krishna’s hand
all glorious with love for Him in command.
I must know my glory
I must know life’s purpose
and know I am pleasing Krishna
in pure devotional service.

I must chant offencelessly
the holy mahamantra
or I live my life senselessly
like a person ghostly haunted.
O my dear Lord Krishna
force me to surrender to You
under the guidance of Jagat Guru
reveal to me the absolute truth.
Him standing Supreme
beyond this world of dreams
Him always in the eyes
of those wise and self realised.

Please bless me to always praise
Lord Krishna’s all auspiciouse holy names
so in Lord Krishna’s service I’m always engaged
enlightening everyone in all ways.
