All That Really Matters {Poem}

All that really matters my friends
is we know what to do at the end
what will happen then around the bend
will we suffer, enjoy or transcend?

Only the supreme Lord Krishna knows
and those surrendered at Krishna’s Lotus Toes
know joys beyond all woes and where all goes
and no one knows all fools suppose.

But Lord Krishna the supreme leader
the singer of His Bhagavad-gita
reveals all to Arjuna His dear friend
who had decided to fully surrender to Him.

Yes it is indeed most rare
to surrender to Him beyond compare
but as soon as one does really care
for knowledge Krishna’s servant will appear.

He is the guru of the universe
Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
living eternally in his lawbooks
to guide all human beings back to God.

He is the external manifestation of Krishna
manifesting Krishna at every step
liberating souls through out the universe
from all miseries, repeated births and deaths.

He comes to only reveal Krishna
and what is the goal of human life
by his mercy he trains up disciples
who show the perfection of what is right.

As soon as Krishna sees
someone is sincerely seeking Him
he sends His perfect guide like Prabhupada
beyond this world of whim and all sin.

Wisdom is the chief desire
of every true human being
while eating, mating and defending
is all fools care to be seeing.

So what then can be done?
when we are God’s good daughter or son
we must be His obedient servants
or be full of ignorance every one.

And not know what to do at the end
nor when the end shall be
but for Krishna’s pure devotee
there is never any mystery.

He knows the past, present and future
seeing through the eyes of scriptures
and he knows, hears and sees Krishna
in every heart and through out existence.

So he knows he never shall die
nor was he ever born
and must answer Krishna’s cry
just you surrender to your Lord.

And you shall return to Him
with your mind fixed on Him
just by crying out His holy names
of which He is the very same.
