The materialistic man of the modern age will argue that life, or part of it, is never meant for discussion of theosophical or theological arguments. Life is meant for the maximum duration of existence for eating, drinking, sexual intercourse, making merry and enjoying life. The modern man wants to live forever by the advancement of material science, and there are many foolish theories for prolonging life to the maximum duration. But the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam affirms that life is not meant for so-called economic development or advancement of materialistic science for the hedonistic philosophy of eating, mating, drinking and merrymaking. Life is solely meant for tapasya, for purifying existence so that one may enter into eternal life just after the end of the human form of life.
The materialists want to prolong life as much as possible because they have no information of the next life. They want to get the maximum comforts in this present life because they think conclusively that there is no life after death. This ignorance about the eternity of the living being and the change of covering in the material world has played havoc in the structure of modern human society. Consequently there are many problems, multiplied by various plans of modernized man.
The plans for solving the problems of society have only aggravated the troubles….The specific utterance of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in regard to “other animals” means that persons who are simply engaged in planning a better type of animal life consisting of eating, breathing and mating are also animals in the shape of human beings. A society of such polished animals cannot benefit suffering humanity, for an animal can easily harm another animal but rarely do good (S.B.2.3.18)
The common man who is puffed up with his material position and does not bow down before the Deity of the Lord in the temple, or who defies temple worship without any knowledge of the science, must know that his so-called turban or crown will only succeed in further drowning him in the water of the ocean of material existence. A drowning man with a heavy weight on his head is sure to go down more swiftly than those who have no heavy weight. A foolish, puffed-up man defies the science of God and says that God has no meaning for him, but when he is in the grip of God’s law and is caught by some disease like cerebral thrombosis, that godless man sinks into the ocean of nescience by the weight of his material acquisition. Advancement of material science without God consciousness is a heavy load on the head of human society, and so one must take heed of this great warning (S.B.2.3.21)
Pamho agtacbsp, hedonism is real material life temporary and full of suffering, nowadays in India also they imitate the western countries by eating, sleeping, mating and defend themselves like animals life and it’s not easy at all to dominate a human behaving like a wild animal because the human brain is a very complex and complicated brain so called scientists still study the human brain but they never study the origin of the human brain because they are trapped through their brains too, one must be free from defects anartha etc..by studing a pure devotee of SRI KRSNA LIKE HDG ACBSP then only they can get eternal results by understanding everything as it is because SRILA PRABHUPADA USED to see everything as it is and now even more in nirguna form.agtacbsp ys haribol
I mean to study the BRAIN OF A PURE DEVOTEE Like HDG ACBSP is like to study SRI KRSNA BRAIN then we can understand how tiny is our brain that’s why we are here because we lost our spiritual brain and now to get it back from a material dimension look like a very hard job especially if one is still attract to the senses gratification through the bodily concept of life which get stronger through Maya sukaya flickering pleasure .all the rotten journey of all the kali chela is under severe mental slavery through the painful bodily concept of life especially in this uncivilised age of kali yuga we can see that very clear ,if one want be free from this rotten journey one must practice BRAHMACARYA celibacy chanting sixteen rounds of HARE KRSNA MAHA MANTRA DAILY and take prasada from a pure devotee in few words is the opposite life style of hedonism. Pamho agtacbsp, when one get the coffin forget everything about the heavy weight on the head due to vikarma karma etc…and what is gone is gone therefore is not worthy to think to a bad dream but is better to forget it.for example the factor time is always the same but due to our activities sometimes get better and sometimes get worse until one get situate beyond the better and the worse by engaging the factor time constantly in krsna service brahma buyaya kalpate because our business is in the paravyoma there only our spiritual wealth don’t get stolen by illusion in the spiritual sky but the wealth accumulated here on planet earth get always stolen even before one dying the thief is been always there and when one die get evicted from his body,planet because to lose the life means to lose everything especially if one don’t become krsna conscious need to take birth again to restart the service where he left the life before.but with the mercy of the most magnanimous avatar SRI CAITANYA MAHAPRABHU We can go back home in this same lifetime and just fools let this golden chance to go.agtacbsp ys haribol
