Bhakta Ronaldo, Sep 02, USA: I have to say Guru Gauranga das, That your article is not only full of ISKCON rhetoric, but, it’s by far a blasphemy to Srila Prabhupada. For you to dare suggest that these ISKCON gurus are on Srila Prabhupada’s level [which is exactly what you were doing] is an outright offense! How can you compare these obviously UNQUALIFIED materialists to ‘bona fide’ spiritual masters? No offense, but the last time I checked (sastra), a bona fide guru does not engage in illegal (criminal) activity… they don’t steal Krishna’s laxmi and buy their own houses in upscale neighborhoods, they are not ‘part time’ gurus, they also do not overlook child molestation, rape, beatings, thievery, bullying, bogus fund raisers, etc. These are not the qualifications of a bona fide Spiritual Master!
And you know, just like we all know, that MANY gurus are not following. Stick around ANY ISKCON temple, and deviations and vow breaking will hit you in the face every 2 seconds. This we all know from experience! Thousands of us, prabhu. We also know that many of ISKCON’s devotees would not be living in temples if it were not for the temple maintaining them materially. The days of ‘ecstatic, word jugglery, GBC created rhetoric/responses like you give in your letter, aren’t cutting it anymore. Only the ones naively stuck in the ‘ISKCON bubble’ go for that.
Everything has been exposed for years and it is still being exposed. Shouldn’t ‘advanced’ devotees humble themselves and admit their faults and repent in front of everyone for the deviations and blasphemy of Our Srila Prabhupada? I think we are all aware that this will never happen. Even after being smashed/exposed repeatedly by Krishna, they have not done this.
These are facts, known to everyone, and if you honestly believe what you wrote in your submission, I feel very sorry for you.
P.S. I think its against GBC policy to be on the Sampradaya Sun, isn’t it?
