Open Letter ~ To all Devotees ~

Dear Godbrothers and Sisters and GBC’s of the Hare Krsna Movement.

Dandavats! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We say ‘All Glories’ but some try to take some of those glories for themselves in your quest for profit, distinction and most of all, adoration. Some are using big titles like ‘Acarya’ etc.

We naturally have love and respect for the devotees, especially the senior devotees, but when they start asking to be worshiped like Srila Prabhupada, and say they personally can deliver devotees back to Godhead, when they themselves are not there yet, it is wrong. It is against the Vaisnava tradition. It is against what I personally heard him say to do just before his grand departure to Krsnaloka.

If we want a truly dynamic and impressive movement we should be humble and follow the orders of our spiritual master to the letter. Just see how successful the Bangalore Temple has become by following the orders of Srila Prabhupada, to the letter.

They are expanding like wildfire, opening new centers all over, including Sri Vrindavan Dham, and distributing Prasadam to millions daily now. Even President Obama wrote a letter praising their service and cooperation.

Srila Prabhupada said that we will show our love for him by cooperating to push on this most important movement in the world. That can be done only if he is at the front and center and we are not competing for his movement and his devotees. We can and should direct all to follow him. To offer all foods through him. To make new devotees for him. We can have the love and trust for one and all if we serve humbly in this way and we will see the movement start to grow again by HariboL leaps and bounds, just like it did in the good old days.

My request is especially to my GBC Godbrothers and Sister, please discuss this most important matter and let me address you all as I personally heard His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada give his final instructions on the future of his movement after his departure especially regarding initiations. He laid it out on May 28th 1977, July 7th said it, and July 9th 1977, signed a Newsletter to all Temple Presidents and GBC’s.

These instuctions are being followed by the Bangalore Devotees and many others around the world, but still not by you, the GBC, who have actually made resolutions against Srila Prabhupada’s direct orders. This needs to be rectified so the movement can be rectified. And all these ‘Acaryas’ can become humble servants and bonafide representatives. Then they, you, will get more love than you are getting now and get the blessings of His Divine Grace and Lord Krsna.

We’ve swept this issue under the carpet for too long now! It’s time to get it right for righteousness.

The GBC meetings are going to happen soon for Sri Goura Pournima, let’s concentrate of the mercy of Sri Sri Guru and Gouranga and pray for Their mercy and do the necessary.

~ Proposal ~

Dear GBC Members,

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

In that the evidence shows that Srila Prabhupada, the Founder / Acharya of ISKCON ordered a ritvik initiation system to continue henceforward for ISKCON from the date of July 9th 1977, and a Newsletter was sent to all GBC’s and Temple Presidents signed by Srila Prabhupada stating this order, the GBC body should act immediately to implement the ritvik initiation system.

All previous GBC resolutions condemning the Ritvik initiation system should be retracted and an apology from the GBC members should be sent out to any and all devotees who may have been affected and/or offended by these resolutions.
