How To Choose Guru

How can you choose Guru? It is said that, “Jiva Jago, Jiva Jago”. The living entity is sleeping on the lap of maya, and Guru is the one who wakes him up. If one is fast asleep, how can he choose who will wake him up? Can a sleeping person choose who should wake him up?
But the one who is awake, he can choose whether to wake up the sleeping person or not. So in fact, a disciple cannot choose the Guru, rather the Guru chooses the disciple.
Remember, Srila Prabhupada’s disciples did not go to India to look for him, to choose him as their Guru. Rather Srila Prabhupada went to America and he decided to wake them up, and made them his disciples. So Srila Prabhupada chose them as his disciples, who can deny this fact?
I cannot claim that I am awake or Krsna Conscious or out of Maya, but whatever transformation has happened in my life, it is because of a person whom I have never even seen. And his name is Srila Prabhupada. I love reading his books. Whenever I need spiritual guidance, I open his book and I always find answers to my question.
For me, it is a love affair now. And I am in love with him. How can I possibly say that he is not my Guru? I am taking instructions from him and he is my Guru. Whenever I open his book and read a few sentences, he hits me hard, right on my ego, shakes me a bit, and tries to wake me up from my sleep.
He is expert in waking up the sleeping souls and is not bound by having a physical body to fulfill his mission. Even if he will have a physical body, with how many people could he interact with a physical body? Physical body has its limitations, but his vani is beyond limit. It can reach to every corner of this planet, in the form of his books.
Regarding our present initiation system, if one Guru falls, there are two new Gurus to replace him. Our GBCs are very good in mathematics, and they have ensured that we never run out of a supply of Gurus. But it is just a formality. You can take this oath of following four principles in front of A Goswami or B Goswami, or it can be a Temple President, it really does not matter.
Srila Prabhupada is our Guru by default.
Your Guru is the one who wakes you up from your sleep, not the one in front of whom you take the oath to follow four regulative principles.
This system to choose a Guru out of a panel of Gurus, which is decided by the GBC, is just utilitarian, a formality.

pamho agtACBSP,the guru tattva is very simple for simple people the genuine guru first of all is a resident of vaikunta the next step is that the guru must be a mukta purusa liberated soul the next step again is that the guru is false ego free therefore can set up all HIS disceples free from the clutches of maha maya,the pukka brahma nistham guru is serving SRI KRSNA eternally since HIS previous lives therefore HE know HIS spiritual identity and also where HE is going,SRILA PRABHUPADA was destined to become the leader of the whole world through the books,HIS mother once put some coins and some books in front to SRILA PRABHUPADA when HE was still a child to check if HE was inclined to material wealth of to wisdom immediately SRILA PRABHUPADA chosed the book divine SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM, the yogis who used to visit the father of SRILA PRABHUPADA predicted also that your son will be a pure devotee of SRIMATI RADHARANI and the astrologer predicted that SRILA PRABHUPADA had the power to build a house where the whole world can live in through the brhat mrdanga books distribution,HE was very fond in transcendental literature and HE used to say these books are my transcendental ecstasy realizations,once HE told to a devotee do you think these are my books? there are not, SRI KRSNA is the owner therefore HE telling me what to write because these books belong to SRI KRSNA and are not different from krsna unless one get this realization one can’t get full benefit by reading SRILA PRABHUPADA books, HE became the personification of the book bhagavata because of this transcendental realizations constantly connected to HIS transcendental ecstasy through the divine SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM puranam amalam yad vaisnavam priyam ,the SRIMAD BHAGAVATM is very dear to all the vaisnava and unless one become a vaisnava one can’t taste this nectar coming from the Vedic literature as SRILA PRABHUPADA is still tasting through HIS living transcendental senses,nowadays some many rascals are coming by claiming they are gurus without this sublime realization regarding the DIVINE SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM just blind people can’t see that they haven’t got any vaisnava background history by being trapped in the fake reflection of the bodily concept of life,they don’t know who they are spiritually therefore they don’t know where they are going too,they are telling to other people jiv jago but they are still sleeping about this truth there is a lot of quarrels between them because they are under the influences of kali which mean quarrel as well,SRILA PRABHUPADA had nothing to do with all these degraded influences through hypocrisy because HE was all the time influenced by the pure love of SRI SRI GURU GAURANGA,this is the difference between a fake guru and a genuine brahma nistham pukka guru sent to us by SRI KRSNA as SRILA SUKADEVA GOSVAMI is been sent to MAHARAJ PARIKSIT,as we can see nowadays many sleeping souls accepted another sleeping soul as diksa guru and both of them goes to the hell through the effective poison disconnected by the param-para system left by SRILA PRABHUPADA, therefore SRILA PRABHUPADA books are the only salvation for this generation of devotees and for the future generations for another 9.500 years of golden age through the SRI PARAM VIJAYATE SRI KRSNA SANKIRTAN, ki jai brhat mrdanga ki jai,agtSP ys haribol
